If I had a family (only a high school senior still), and I was a dad, I would actually consider the Ford Flex as it has a great styling, and has lots of cargo space as well as great features.
I baught a 2008 honda odyessy when I was in higj school. I want something convient as a first car and not some small coupe lol, that will be a secondary car lol.
I had a 1995 Ford F150 as my first car. It had frame issues so, I sold it and got a different car. I wanted something practical, spacious, and still easy to park anywhere. I ended up getting a 1993 Ford Taurus Wagon. I love it. I'm interested in getting a Flex next.
I love your videos Kyle. Keep up the good work! I've been watching your videos for about 3 years. The first video I watched was of the 2012 Fiat 500C Lounge. You give great in depth tours. Keep it up! :)
Kyle, I been meanig to tell you, Ford has this little thing where you just turn the key without holding it until after it starts. I've testing that on my Mom's Fusion and my sister 2010 Mercury Mariner
The Ford Flex is a great SUV. My mom rented one when she had to take her into the shop. The one that she had was a newer version of the updated grille, more powerful engines and some more do dads to keep up with modern times. But other than that, not much has changed with the Ford Flex. I’d highly recommend buying one. It’s very comfortable and carry a lot of stuff. The only thing that I don’t like about the Flex is the third row seating. I always felt it was more of a bonus than anything.
Those bathtub handles in the 3rd row seats have been around since the freestyle. Someone must have liked them. (I appreciate the compliment, and am looking for work)
Love this car, put it on 22's reupholster the interior with padded leather and aluminum accenting. Paint the roof black and bottom a nice blue, and you have a kick ass ride
I can tell you were not into this car. I bought a 2019 and love it! It meets all my family needs and its way more updated then this 2010. All the other reviews of cars you have done are way longer then this. Its all good though, the Flex is not for everyone.
@randomrazr it's when the seats have little holes in them. This is usually the way manufactures heat and cool their seats these days, by blowing hot and cold air through those holes.
I don't get all the Flex hate. They look cool with the white or silver roof, they ride and drive like a long-hooded Taurus, and the interior is big enough to merit its own ZIP code.
I miss Kyle's simplicity of his older videos like this one. It is not submerged with information regarding the suspension, engine type, interior capacity, and volume.
This car is fun to drive. All Wheel Drive handles grate in snow.Nice wide tires vey comfortable on the bumps. It is bigger then a Chevrolet Tahoe.Gets 20 Average Miles per Gallon. It has 83.2 Cubic Feet of cargo space. Also first seat folds flat 8 foot wood board could fit inside.
Why is everybody talking mad sh*t about the ford FLEX, when there is ugly vehicle like the nissan cube, nissan juke, nissan murano-cabriolet, kia soul, bmw X6, nissan LEAF and etc. The is by far a boxy vehicle, the way the design was executed is fantasic.
@ThisIsBillyH The C-Max isn't a "minivan" per se. It's a compact vehicle with minvan-style sliding doors. It's the same thing as putting sliding rear doors on a Honda Fit. It's not a minivan the way the Odyssey, Sienna, or Grand Caravan are.
Very nice styling, especially, the dash is beautiful, but unfortunately, we aren't manage to see the interior lighting. Can you record a short night clip about the Ford Fairlane's dash? It would be interesting to see an old car's interior lighting. Thank You!
I never understood why some people hate these so much but I guess that's what happens when you try to do something different. I can see not liking a car but damn
@mrabhijeet15 aye. i was watching kyle since the time i started watchign daves farm. the farm vids are gone now. but kyle is still around without the drama :) keep it up my friend. keep it up. still drooling over the lotec. btw is it for sale?
Just picked one up same color with 148k $3200 cash. Runs like a top and not smashed or faded in anyway leather interior with wood grain. I wonder. Did I get a good deal?
@Illousion1 Unfortunatly it is, Country Squire's were sleepers. my dad had a 1981 LTD crown vic, it was definitely a lot roomier than this, and i'm sure the wagon was even roomier. plus, i'm sure they ride better than this as well. American cars have lost their plushness and floatiness that identified them 15 plus years ago.
I drove the Flex last year on my road trip to the US. Can't really imagine how they could make a better family car than this. Great ride quality, well fitted interior, great stereo. It really is a more affordable version of Range Rover. Would mind to take it back to Ireland if the fuel here didn't cost 7.60 dollar per gallon....
00:56 man screaming. thumbs up if you heard it.
Lol
0:56
PeachyQueen lol heard it
Probably saw the mechanics bill
EFC429 lol
Saw somebody clip the front end of a Durango with one of these today. 👍🏻
If I had a family (only a high school senior still), and I was a dad, I would actually consider the Ford Flex as it has a great styling, and has lots of cargo space as well as great features.
***** It's amazing, it has good power and handling, Seats are amazing and durable.
me too as opposed to the shitty Chevrolet Traverse
I baught a 2008 honda odyessy when I was in higj school. I want something convient as a first car and not some small coupe lol, that will be a secondary car lol.
Clarence Freeman I actually prefer the traverse... not a big fan of the station wagon look of the flex, also the traverse has more power.
And ya that's the #1 reason I got a Ford cause of the start up sound I just love it
Love that chime when you put the key in and on startup
me too it's cool
Dfordium the newer version is in a different tone
Dfordium me too it's adorable
I hate it, old one is better like a 2001 ford ranger.
Me three
I just found my next car..
I love your videos Kyle. Keep up the good work! I've been watching your videos for about 3 years. The first video I watched was of the 2012 Fiat 500C Lounge. You give great in depth tours. Keep it up! :)

You're the best mr. Saab.

Just bought a 2010 Ford Flex today i believe that I'm going to love it
How's it going so far? What's the mileage?
I have an 09 limited AWD and I gotta say, it’s very strange to see one of these in the highest trim level without a sunroof or the optional vista roof
Thats how my gf likes it
You should do an updated video using a 2013-2014 flex.
The Flex is a really nice vehicle
0:56 that scream lol
Love this car, put it on 22's reupholster the interior with padded leather and aluminum accenting. Paint the roof black and bottom a nice blue, and you have a kick ass ride
It looks wayy better in Blue... Its a good car btw, driven one before
Just bought a metallic blue one today absolutely beautiful
I can tell you were not into this car. I bought a 2019 and love it! It meets all my family needs and its way more updated then this 2010. All the other reviews of cars you have done are way longer then this. Its all good though, the Flex is not for everyone.
For an SUV it really is immaculate on the inside.
Can you do an updated review for 2012-13 models?
0:56 who was that screaming?😅
Kyle can you PLEASE make a video on a 2016 Flex? Its been FIVE YEARS since you last covered this car
the door chime on these new fords really sound nice.
@randomrazr it's when the seats have little holes in them. This is usually the way manufactures heat and cool their seats these days, by blowing hot and cold air through those holes.

Very nice car, though I really like boxy design.
However, I hate that beeping sound it has. Hope I'd be able to change it with some DIY.
STFU I bet you like General Motors beeps better
Clarence Freeman the gm one is eve more annoying
qxANGELxp they should call it Ford Box
I miss Kyle's simplicity of his older videos like this one. It is not submerged with information regarding the suspension, engine type, interior capacity, and volume.
And lots of people love too hear the information that you wish was left out...can't please everyone
cool breaking benjamin on the radio
Ours also has the fridge, second row heated chairs, and power folding third and second row seats.
this is an amazing car I want a 2013 and that is what I`m getting when I can drive
Great video as always Kyle! I like the Flex!
Fantastic tour. Thanks a lot .

I like the Flex.
this is a stpid question kyle but what does it mean by "perferated" leather seats.
5:00 Breaking Benjamin hell yea!
My mother was about to get this. Not sure if it was a limited. But she got a 2008 ford focus ses. It had heated seats! But. Its long gone now.
I love Ford's new chime.
@maggio211 the vista roof is optional. just like the fridge, power lifting rear seats, and rear seat heaters
this is like a cool car.

love that candy red color. pure hotness
your video`s are soo clear.
wow, thats actually a cool car, good review kyle :)
Where are the driving impressions? How about listing the the various options within each trim level? Are there engine and or transmission choices?
@Finalomen In the states we have a Nissan Versa, and a Toyota Venza... but the Toyota Verso must only be in the UK.
I really like the car Kyle! Great job as usual! Not a big fan of Ford's new key chime but whatever. lol
@Motorfordtoyota I believe he has the GMC Acadia on the channel which is the same thing.
the Ford Flex 2008 to present is assembled in
Oakville, Ontario, Canada
It is casually cool.
I want one.
I never understood why some people hate these so much but I guess that's what happens when you try to do something different. I can see not liking a car but damn
Hopefully I can save enough money to get one as my first car...ive looked and seen a 2009 model for 5k...🤞
i love your video`s!!!
this car rocks!
@Finalomen Yep... Verso. It's basically a UK Yaris.
This car ***** has a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission with Lower Gear Selection.
Love it
@TheSmartdude11
Moonroof is optional even in Limited trim.
I think only titanium trim has it as a standard feature
@Fred924 I absolutely hate the door chime...but I dislike all door chimes.
We have one but ours has the huge 5 panel sunroof.
exelent video Kyle
when you upload the solstice or fusion?
greetings
i love this car!!! but can u do a 2013 ford flex PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
@mrabhijeet15 aye. i was watching kyle since the time i started watchign daves farm. the farm vids are gone now. but kyle is still around without the drama :) keep it up my friend. keep it up. still drooling over the lotec. btw is it for sale?
Very nice vehicle, but is there like a military exercise going on in the vicinity? I kept hearing what sounded like one.
@zacs214
chill out dude.
At least these chimes sound way better than a scary buzzer
did you buy and vehicle's while you were at the auction today?
@thehulk3010 Well Ford did release a crossover the Freestyle/Taurus X and a crossover SUV the Edge.
Does this vehicle have an aux plug? I need to listen to music from my mobile...
First coment
exelent video Kyle
when you upload the solstice or fusion?
greetings
What jacket are you wearing in the video, cause i want one when i grow up.
Yes,even Mustangs chime is nice.:)
i do like the flex its a nice suv
I, for one, think it looks amazing. like an american version of a Land rover.
when you get in the 3rd row seats are you able to put the 2nd row seats down so we can see leg room?
Ford Flex= cuteness confirmed thanks Ford Canada Oakville Ontario assembly plant
Who's the guy constantly yelling? Sounds like a drill sergeant.
Matt Walker sounds like an auction is going on in the background
I Had a 2009 limited and it had dual stage heated seats for the second row....
Time for a 2014!
@randomrazr it has like pin holes all through it its just a different looking seat
I love that key chime, but I don't like the back silver plate on the pack of the car.
Kyle, what's the name of the song that was playing in the car? I'm from Brazil and really enjoy their work. Hugs.
hey are you doing another junker series
Just picked one up same color with 148k $3200 cash. Runs like a top and not smashed or faded in anyway leather interior with wood grain. I wonder. Did I get a good deal?
JisINSANE3 probably so, I have seen lightly used units of 2010-12 models as high as 7,500$
Nice Video ! :)
So nice 😍😍😍 do they have Bluetooth
@talldude123 um the 200 is the sebring replacement
Awesome video. Can you do 1988 chevrolet celebrity please. I'm begging you.
was this an auction car? ( looking at the numbers on windshield, the miles on it etc) @ greensboro?
@Illousion1 Unfortunatly it is, Country Squire's were sleepers. my dad had a 1981 LTD crown vic, it was definitely a lot roomier than this, and i'm sure the wagon was even roomier. plus, i'm sure they ride better than this as well. American cars have lost their plushness and floatiness that identified them 15 plus years ago.

@mccrackenphillip It does.....I went out an cold started my dads 2004 Ford Taurus with the 3.0 and it sounds like that.
I desperately want a Flex Limited EcoBoost in "mineral gray" with a white roof :D
@SubieSean Breaking Benjamin - I Will Not Bow
the transmission on the 2009-presnet Ford Flex
Transmission
6-speed automatic
@talldude123 no it new its called 200 not the 300c
@accountnumber90 I think he's at an auction site.
