I would love to see a Super paper Mario 2 but if it does come out it would probably be for the Nintendo switch I've never played this game before I've played the original paper Mario though I also played paper Mario sticker Star i got 100% on the entire game
Unfortunately, Nintendo said that they can't use original villains in future Paper Mario games. So the chance of Dimentio appearing again is VERY unlikely.
One thing to say about this final boss is that Dimentio actually loses his magical abilities while fusing with his new minion. As Dimentio alone he used to fight against the heroes spamming his magic shots with his own clones. But once after he and brainwashed Luigi merge together with the power of Chaos Heart, they jump, stomp, or punch the heroes to crush the heroes physically, rather than Dimentio's signature magical attacks!
There is a canon "heaven and hell" in SPM, Dimentio may be dead but hes still in the universe, probably locked away in the deepest corners of the Underwhere
I can't help but picture an ALTERNATE ENDING... Tippi is reverted to her human forum, and uses her power to save the worlds, but Blumiere dies in her arms... a very tearful parting.
I'm gonna miss this Netflix vibe from Wii games like this one ! It was such an elaborated story and I love this about it ! Even the plot twist music and all the Soundtracks were amazing !! And the final boss stress with the "WEEOW WEOOOW WEOOOW" when you are targeted ! I took a while to finish this game but I did ! Yet these days I bought The Origami King and expected something similar but in the end I don't feel the same...
I am very upset by the fact that Super Dimentio, despite his huge potential, was a fairly easy boss. I really hope that someday someone will make a really difficult version of the fight with Super Dimentio, where he will use both physical and his magical abilities
Maybe increase his HP and give him like 10 Defense, I mean he has 200 HP, meaning with less than 20 Hits with a powered up Mario (or less tham 10 if you use Bowser) he is quite easy to defeat. And 200 HP, this is basically the ammount of Health that one of those Silver Mammoth Things has, they are worshipped as Gods from these Cavemen from Chapter 5 according to Tippi, but if 200 HP is enough for you to be a God then these things arw nothing compared to Breath of the wild's Lynels So either increasing his HP or giving him a Defense Boost might be apropriate enough
I like to headcanon that Sticker Star, Color Splash and Origami King all take place in an alternate reality where Dimentio ended up winning and rebooted the Paper Mario universe, since his goal was to erase all worlds and create a “perfect” new one. This would also mean that none of the main characters have any memories of their past adventures and that all of their personalities and character development were reset, which would explain why Bowser doesn’t talk in Sticker Star.

Man, this just reminds me of how much Paper Mario doesn't belong solely in the platforming genre. I know I beat the game and everything, but the story was the only thing that allowed me to slog through it. The game design and gameplay themselves were incredibly lackluster.
Super Dimentio should be a bit more difficult by either giving him more hp or more defense, because at some point you'll be very much overleveled and you just need like 10 hits on the head with Bowser to defeat him
Great game I remember the one thing that was really annoying about this fight was that there was no way to skip all the dialogue before and if I remember correctly the last save fight was before the Bleck fight. So every time you died you had to mash through all the dialogue of the bleck fight, do that tedious fight then mash through all the dialogue before this fight and then fight him so every attempt it took forever just to get to this boss. Other than that what a fun way to end the game.

Im really hoping that someday someone makes a mod for this game that it harder sort of like a pro mode. Im surprised it hasnt already been done! I love this game apart from it being too easy
TBH, even without fighting this thing as Bowser, this is a laughable final boss in my opinion. His massive size just makes him way too easy to jump around on and his attacks are so slow. The platforms that shoot dots at you are more of a problem than he is.
I love how Luigi is on Count Bleck's side when they enter the door. Since Luigi was actually one of his minions for a while it was a nice touch.
