    In this video I introduce the concept of enthalpy in Mechanical Engineering Thermodynamics. We also have a look at open systems and go through an example on how to calculate enthalpy for an ideal gas such as air. Enthalpy for real gasses are also discussed and a few points are listed on why you should not assume that steam is an ideal gas when calculating its enthalpy.

    You didn't explain what enthalpy is though, I mean the concept not the equations
