    Can you then explain why the atmosphere goes inside the glass (pushing the water downwards) as you lift the glass further away from the bowl (where the water in the glass separates from the water of the bowl)?

      I thought it was both the vacuum and atmosphere that push the water in the glass. Also what happens if you have a glass that's more than 10 m ( e.g. 100m )to hold the water.
