You're the only PoGo youtuber (or maybe player) who utilizes PoGo to the most of it. Traveling the world and to meet friends so much easier when you're close and endeared by the community. I envy you but also proud, you never let me down with your travels Nick.
Normal person: - runs to pokemon - instantly clicks on it once it appears - golden razz + ultra ball to use that unique chance - endless patience to get at least a "great" throw Nick: - chillest person ever to be seen even though they invested a 15 minute drive to get there - talks an eternity once it appears - pushes to limits of AR+ until it fleas - gets lucky enough for a second try - pineapp + pokeball because for the lulz
I wonder why they never sent it to him. Airlines lost my bag on a few occasions and they always sent it to my hotel/resort. It’s very inconvenient to go all the way back to the airport...then all the way back to your hotel. Thankfully, he has fans from all around the world :)
@bananas and mushrooms, yes "Aéroport mohamed 5" which is "Mohammed V airport" (and yes, it should have another m) @cheeseteakphilly, it might have to do with the drone issue.
I really wish pokemon go would increase region exclusive spawns at airports, I think it would be a great idea for people to make sure they are able to catch a region exclusive when they travel so far. I spent almost a full week in Mexico and only saw one Heracross, I was really afraid I wasn't going to find one the entire trip.
I know, and I've been to oralando and caught heracross. my point is that some people travel far (on trips not based around catching pokemon) and sometimes dont get the region exclusive. so it would be nice if region exclusive spawns are common at airports so that people can make sure they get one while they are on their trip
I love how friendly they all were to you! It's that your typical experience out of country? What about non-poke players how do they react? It's great this game can bring different cultures together just thru the shared passion of this game.
Man, just looked up drone laws for Morocco. I'm glad they're letting you pick it up when departing. According to their Website drones that are not declared are confiscated permanently.
I'm no electrical engineer but attaching a wire from the ground pin to something grounded like a pipe should suffice for grounding your power adapter. Ground pins while not necessary for operation are for safety in devices that have the potential of carrying excess voltage that may shock the user. The excess voltage is drawn thru the ground pin. Theres no risk of shock btw... when working with electronics I attach my ground wrist strap directly into the wall outlets ground. (Of course that's only if the outlets wired correctly...if it wasn't I'd be getting hurt)
I already told u this in an earlier video, but I am so happy that u are still making these videos. I have only started 2 weeks ago, but have started by watching ur videos just to familiarize myself with every new aspect of the game! Thanks again Nick and keep up the good work :))
Nick: “Let’s see. Tropius is a regional exclusive to Africa that I’ve been searching for for days. It’s trash in battle but is no less crazy rare and is a major reason I booked this trip. Not to mention it almost got away after I used AR+. I currently have about 200 Golden Razzes and 70 Ultra Balls to make catching it a safe bet. Hmmm.....BETTER USE A PINAP AND REGULAR POKEBALL!” Lol
haha I was going to comment something about that too.. I was almost hoping it ran when he did that... and then he does golden and pokeball? That makes no sense either.. He should have did pinap and ultraball.
Marthese Cauchi, It is exclusive to the African cell, the non African countries that have Tropius are part of the African cell in Niantic's cell distribution.
I haven’t been watching your vids for the past few months because I don’t play anymore, but watching this made me realize how much I enjoy your vids, keep up the great work
Electricity can only pass through a complete circuit, a positive to negative or " hot lead to ground". Touching the computer creates the hot lead and putting your feet on the floor is what creates the ground allowing the electricity to pass through you which is why you get shocked.
congrats I caught two Tropius this weekend as well while visiting Kuwait with my sister, I also caught Illumise in there also a regional that we don't have access to in most of UAE :D
Hi Nick. What an exciting chase for the new Dex entry. Congratulation for having succeeding in obtaining it. Also, although now it has been a couple more days since you lost the bag and have retrieved it, I am glad you got it back, and I assume the drone too. For your next adventure, I suggest you order something like TrackR, which allows you to actually see where your property is in real time on a google map. It is a tiny transmitter but with the power of crowd sourcing to give a great range to the transmitter. The fact that the Tropius vanished when you were not even moving is something that occurs way too often. Glad yours came back. I have had exactly the same vanishing when the Mon never did come back.
Glad to see you got your bag back. If you don't have plans for community day yet, I would like to suggest Humboldt county. We have great scenery, and the Pokemon community here is stronger than you would think.
Unfortunately, Casablanca is not a particularly interesting city for tourists. My parents retired to Rabat for a couple years, which is very nice. Fez, Marakech, Essaouira and most other cities are nicer. Casablanca is more a business center. Although, the mosque is impressive (2 largest in the world, I think).
Fun fact: in Sicily, southern Italy, there is a super small portion in the south of the island that is actually below the confines for Tropius spawns, so technically it spawns in Italy too :D
I really do appreciate these travel vlogs. A lot of vloggers go to places like Korea or Japan, where I’ve seen many videos of already. I want to be able to discover the areas of the planet where people don’t often vlog from, like Africa
Nick, thanks! What an exciting hunt! (And teaser for upcoming content.) It's been reported on the Silph Road that a park within driving distance of me is now nesting a species I haven't yet caught, so I'm looking forward tremendously to exploring it this coming weekend... tiny park adventure, giant Morocco adventure, it's all adventure. ;-D
Turn the plug over. Plug it in upside down if possible. This will make a difference on older 2-prong plugs that don't have a wide prong and a regular sized prong. The device is case-grounded and the ground piggybacks on the neutral (wide-blade) prong
My parents retired to Rabat, Morocco for a couple of years. In terms of food do try to find pastilla. It is an intricate meat pie of sorts in phyllo dough.
3:45 "I'm gonna free up some bag space"...uses golden raspberries instead of of nanab berries* I know he had way more than he needed but it still hurt my soul a bit lmao
Hey Nick! Loving the morocco vids.Shows how different each pogo community is and shows us a whole new place! Would love to see you in Bangalore, India! I am sure you must be planning an India trip for Torkoal! Please do consider Bangalore! We got a great community and would love to show you around!
some hardware store do sell adapters for ungrounded outlets, it looks like a normal ungrounded outlet with two prongs but it has a metal piece connected to the adapter that connects to the screw in the faceplate, to discharge the abundant electricity
Tropius spwans here in the south of Spain in Cádiz too (didn't realised it was a regional), I haven't seen it in a while though, and for some time it spawned a lot
I have to say Pogo community is great. If the guys you met with were coming to Seattle I would go pick them up from the airport and show them the spots.
You could find something that is grounded and run a wire to it from your laptop case. Like a tap because most are copper and run to the ground unless the building is newer and has the new plastic PEX pipe.
I'm actually pretty jealous you have a Tropius bc I just love the Pokemon ever since I saw the Jirachi movie and the giant tentacle Groudon I always had a love for Tropius and Flygon. I'd literally do anything to get one
Travel Videos are my favorite, Morocco is very nice and they speak my language. Good job on your New Pokédex Entry. Looking forward for the next videos 😊.
Congrats! I have a couple of Tropius from a trip I took earlier in the year. I did see a rather big one at 1.1k CP but I got errored out of the encounter. I only managed to catch 2 because my area didn't have pokestops and the weather wasn't cooperating, but it's a really fun pokemon. I didn't have Corsola either until this trip, but because of the weather (rainy/partially cloudy), I caught a bunch.
Find a large conductive surface for the laptop body to make contact with so it doesn't discharge through you. This might be as easy as running a wire to metal pipes or a window frame. Think of it like an ESD strap the laptop can wear.
Trainer Tips Thank you for posting the video! You are helping move nations for peace and love using Pokémon GO to help unify nations and peoples from different countries coming together.
Hey, normally don't comment. But how electricity works is that by putting your feet on the ground your completing the circuit with the computer while it's plugged in. You can short your computer out being that the outlets there don't seem to be grounded themselves. When you stay off the ground the electricity flows through you in and back to the computer. You aren't completing a circuit. You can touch power lines in the same way. When they work on power lines they reach over to them with a discharge stick. Equalizing them to the energy in the live wire, all while in a hellicopter like you keeping your feet off the ground.once they do this with the power line they can touch the live wire and not feel a thing no matter how much power in the line..
Think they will at some point consider it, but Mr mime is so fucking common, I See them every corner literally. Would only want them shiny. Oh, and I think before we would get a region exclusive CM all of the starters + 'worth' pokemon News to get one. Like Larvitar, Bagon, Maybe Chansey, Aron, Tanhel etc.
I love your Travel videos and Morocco looks Beautiful. But hey all of Africa is Beautiful. I hope to see my country of Kenya and Meet the Local Players there!

I know some people do have it in game in other corners of the worlds, but even though Casablanca is often foggy early in the morning, it never shows it in game.
Nick, you could connect any metal part of your macbook which should be grounded with a wire (remove isolation at the end) with a bare metal portion of the heater or tap.
Same thing happened to me with a wild Hitmonlee during the Kanto event. I took a couple pictures, standing completely still, and then it fled. Only difference is mine didn't come back :P
IIRC, you don't get shocked touching your plugged in MacBook with your feet off the floor because your body isn't completing a circuit to the wall outlet, as the sofa provides sufficient insulation from the floor.

True but he can afford it along with the other pogo youtubers most regular players don’t have the money to constantly travel for pogo
This is why most of the player base hates the regional exclusives.

You get me so motivated to go get ‘em. I’ve booked a flight for Tampa in two weeks for Heracross. Keep the vids coming!!!
Jason Jennings I live in Tampa. Plenty of Herrocross here. Corsola too! Plus we have awesome Cuban food. ☺
Polaroxide Tv yeah that sounds like a lot of fun...just cheat instead of traveling and experiencing the world.
because they don't work for it lol
Heracross are nearly everywhere here in the Tampa Bay area
Just yesterday I went to the Racetrack near my house and about 5 of them spawned. There’s a lot of Corsolas too!!
"I dont speak french".. *translate it perfectly* xD
Looks close enough to Spanish that I can figure it out 😂
Fulcorne Erdnaxela that was easy tho
Cant really tell, im french haha
Its latin so i can also always easily read it because most of the words sound like spanish words
ya i see
This may be one my favorite travel videos of yours. I enjoy your travels and it's way cooler when you engage with locals.
9:30 every time Nick walks away from a Growlithe, I die a little inside...
but great video though! Congrats on the big flying banana tree!
WhatUpMC me too!! Fire types are really rare were I live
some pokemon are rare in different places.
He says though that he does catch them but does it off screen.
alvaro quintero I live in utah so my higher pokemon are basically all fire types
Translation: “Transavia Airlines informs you of receiving your luggage and you’re invited to come pick it up at the airport. Thank you, Mohamed.”
On a compris tkt
not thank you Mohamed lol, it's Mohammed V airport @Ravyn Liam xD. The rest is spot on though!
Araa G. In the text messages it says "mohamed"
I wonder why they never sent it to him.
Airlines lost my bag on a few occasions and they always sent it to my hotel/resort.
It’s very inconvenient to go all the way back to the airport...then all the way back to your hotel.
Thankfully, he has fans from all around the world :)
@bananas and mushrooms, yes "Aéroport mohamed 5" which is "Mohammed V airport" (and yes, it should have another m)
@cheeseteakphilly, it might have to do with the drone issue.
That's a lesson for you never risk an AR photo on a brand new Pokémon you don't have.

Come to london we got mr mime coming our ur ass
I love how friendly they all were to you! It's that your typical experience out of country? What about non-poke players how do they react? It's great this game can bring different cultures together just thru the shared passion of this game.
Man, just looked up drone laws for Morocco. I'm glad they're letting you pick it up when departing. According to their Website drones that are not declared are confiscated permanently.
espeon200 I was wondering what the deal was.
yeah Nick really needs to quickly look at drone laws when going to a new country. Some countries are NOT drone friendly at all!
espeon200 that all depends wheher or not he discovered a missle silo or not

"I'm just going to catch it" *uses pinap and pokeball* :|
Mattman243 I feel like that is Nick's signature move, like how Mystic 7 does a nanab berry and poke ball.
😂😂🤣 I was so anxious
kim klein yeah and mystic7 also like to take his time clicking the Pokémon then when it despawns or errors on him he acts surprised lol
Nick: “Let’s see. Tropius is a regional exclusive to Africa that I’ve been searching for for days. It’s trash in battle but is no less crazy rare and is a major reason I booked this trip. 11:50 "3 Days later"
Nick grew a beard
Oh my god!!! I can’t believe it was still there. I wanted to cry FOR you. Congrats on that regional entry🎊🎉
Ravyn Liam its not a regional exclusive
Marthese Cauchi, It is exclusive to the African cell, the non African countries that have Tropius are part of the African cell in Niantic's cell distribution.
Marthese Cauchi If it will never spawn where I live outside of an event, then it’s a regional Pokémon.
/-/
() this is me a weirdly weirdo person!
Professor Ravyn bro I got like 10 tropious you want to trade for one I’ll take a Pokédex Taurus entry
I haven’t been watching your vids for the past few months because I don’t play anymore, but watching this made me realize how much I enjoy your vids, keep up the great work
Still remember how happy I was to find this guy in Ruby. Good stuff!
That happened to me on a trip abroad, but i had at least a couple change of clothes in my carry-on. Something to think about for future travels, Nick.
Mad respect to those guys going to such lengths to help you get the Tropius!
Awesome video as always. Hope you are enjoying Morocco!

Try explaining that to someone who's looking for an "ungrounded to grounded adaptor" to prevent electric shocks.
congrats
I caught two Tropius this weekend as well while visiting Kuwait with my sister, I also caught Illumise in there also a regional that we don't have access to in most of UAE :D

TROPIUS HYPE! Do you think those are bananas under Tropius' chin? Or is that his beard?
PkmnMasterHolly nanabs.. 😅
ApplePiez TCG she is on every poke-yt video
His beard is made out of bananas
It's sounds like a start to a joke are those bananas under his chin or??????
Is he just happy to see me?
Banana beard
I always enjoy your travels, and it just makes me smile to see everyone enjoying themselves together!

I can't wait to see footage of Marrakesh! Haven't been there for 4 years now after living there, will be great to see it!
You can get tropius in Spain to. I found d around 7 of them in a week I. Malaga area.
Turn the plug over. Plug it in upside down if possible. This will make a difference on older 2-prong plugs that don't have a wide prong and a regular sized prong. The device is case-grounded and the ground piggybacks on the neutral (wide-blade) prong

Oh man, this made me so nostalgic - definitely have a few of those same gym badges (including "Marichal") from my trip there last year. Great video!
Love all ur videos nick. Ur a good role model and inspirational to a lot of people. Keep doing what ya doing

Tropius spwans here in the south of Spain in Cádiz too (didn't realised it was a regional), I haven't seen it in a while though, and for some time it spawned a lot

You can find tropius in Crete , Greece
When people say "Pokemon Go is dead" I show them these videos.
that balcony takes me back when i started watching your videos, when u were in hawai. Early pokemon go days
Nick is a Legend .. he should Pop into Cape Town South Africa .. Tropius Hunt start 11:54
Tropius will probably be one of the last pokes in my dex for sure XD....nice work Nick!
Congrats! I have a couple of Tropius from a trip I took earlier in the year. I did see a rather big one at 1.1k CP but I got errored out of the encounter. hi nick I watched youre video today and I throw back you came her in the Philippines around 2017 in alaminus it was great watching your videos
✋
Have you tried giving Pokémon a berry before going to AR mode? It might affect whether it bolts. 🤷♀️
Trainer Tips Thank you for posting the video! You are helping move nations for peace and love using Pokémon GO to help unify nations and peoples from different countries coming together.

Do you think niantic would put a regional pokemon in community day? Even unknown would be sic
If it's happens all legit players will cry but spoofers have no problem😂😂
Think they will at some point consider it, but Mr mime is so fucking common, I See them every corner literally. Would only want them shiny.
Oh, and I think before we would get a region exclusive CM all of the starters + 'worth' pokemon News to get one. Like Larvitar, Bagon, Maybe Chansey, Aron, Tanhel etc.
Morocco looks dope
Very cool video :) I never been there so it was nice to watch this.
that plant with white flowers in 2:12 has an hallucinogenic tea :)
When Tropius fled away I gasped xD So happy you finally caught him
I love your Travel videos and Morocco looks Beautiful. But hey all of Africa is Beautiful. I hope to see my country of Kenya and Meet the Local Players there!
We're glad that you caught Tropius
Man you look like Logic, great videos btw 👌
I love watching your travels you have beautiful footage
I always catch Tropius and I'm from Southafrica. And I never knew you could only catch him in Africa that's special for me
You werent late. Your Filipino. Right on time
JAYND filipino time
JAYND +1
I love these travel vlogs!
Love ur videos as always
Keep up the good work 👍🔥
Good to see you exploring like you’ve been wanting to #Goals #PokemonGo
You should really play ingress so you can declare new pokestops on low density areas
16:20 Daammnn😭 You'll thank me later. At least you got it 2nd time, Nick.👍
It's so nice to see your travels! It surely make me wanna travel more in some exotic locations!
Anyway, ever planning to come to Italy? Maybe on your way back from Marocco, you could stop in Milan :3
Dope how everyone was so helpful
The noise at the beginning scared me, I thought my computer froze up
emm, in Cyprus we have Topius and specifically in my city (Larnaca) we are like a nest. We have 5-10 spawns every day.
You do have fog weather in game. That’s when ghost and dark type Pokemon appear more often.
Black Saiyan Yeah, but it like NEVER happens in game.
I know some people do have it in game in other corners of the worlds, but even though Casablanca is often foggy early in the morning, it never shows it in game.
Excellent DnB songs choice! ✌️😍
Nick, you could connect any metal part of your macbook which should be grounded with a wire (remove isolation at the end) with a bare metal portion of the heater or tap.
Wow congrats on getting that tropius.......now time to come to Mumbai, India for torkoal
Same thing happened to me with a wild Hitmonlee during the Kanto event. I took a couple pictures, standing completely still, and then it fled. Only difference is mine didn't come back :P
Wow, I didn’t even realise that was a thing...
Jack Bessant right? I was like, "Oh, that's a Pokémon that exists?"
8:35 what now? Shiny Venusaur's a regional exclusive too?
Amazing video, can't wait to see Marrakech!
Man! great vid nick! I felt the heartache when it ran lol
It's alright. All the quality footage in this video makes up for the drone.
Congrats on Tropius! :O
gz to the tropius nick!
IIRC, you don't get shocked touching your plugged in MacBook with your feet off the floor because your body isn't completing a circuit to the wall outlet, as the sofa provides sufficient insulation from the floor.
