A/C knob is separate on the center console. Locks are vacuum operated. Power windows were optional on the 240D. My 1979 240D is similarly equipped.

I would vastly prefer no power windows. Less to break. One my friend is offering has a broken sunroof Id like to repair. Tempted to pick it up. Been sitting since pandemic. Unsure work it may need. Wish I knew someone who could help me out with look over, diagnosis. It ran great.
