Everyone is saying that this song "lacks the raw emotion of the original song" but their either deaf or don't understand why Three days grace covered it. But Opinions are opinions at the end of the day

Same and agreed. I like both versions, but for different reasons.
Here too. This one is great but it's boring. Same concept as the original. That's the issue with covers, you make them your own or fall into oblivion.

I still like their cover and Fleetwood Mac's song both. I always wanted a hard rock cover version style of this song. Man I miss the original singer of Three Days Grace. 2021... coming from a 95' growing up in the 2000's baby yeah you guessed right I'm a dying breed so what lol listen on repeat is great.
That intro reminds me of Seether. I'm sure it should remind me of Fleetwood Mac, but the effects on the guitar make me think of Seether.

I like Fleetwood Mac's version better, however this is also nice. I just think Fleetwood Mac's version is much more complex, and has more feeling to it. :P But that's to be expected with an original and a cover.

Covering Fleetwood Mac takes massive cojones and I applaud Three Days Grace for trying, the chorus and that guitar solo are fucking amazing, the rest for me is just meh.

I think that this version is cleaner. Its' been recorded better. There's less convolution with different voices harmonizing with each other and everything else like that that the original version has. The only voices on this are Adam's, leading to a cleaner vocal feel. It just sounds better to me. Everything is mixed well so that you can hear every part extremely well. It is also a different feeling. This version feels more angry, whereas the other one has a bit sadder, and more country feeling.

Taking Dawns cover of this song sounds a little better. I love TDG but i think they could of done a little better on this one. Check out Taking Dawns version and compare the two. Just my opinion.

Kind of agree with all this. Seems like some of the feeling, and intensity has been lost. The lyrics ring hollow, on their version of it. Much more...angst in the original.
Oddly enough, this seems like commercialized pop metal. Just doesn't have much power behind it.
