The line refering to the lyrics of Crawling killed me. As a devoted fan of LP and Chester, Adam I really love and apreciate this tribute. Amazing song and the whole album is simply Great!

That’s a reference to ‘Crawling’ by Linkin Park… I am a long-time fan of Linkin Park and Saint Asonia (and Three Days Grace too, for that matter.) and when I heard this line... my heart shattered as it sunk to the deepest pits of my chest. I remember back when my father first texted me about Chester Bennington's death the next morning after it happened; I was sobbing uncontrollably...
Now all those emotions are coming back, and I’m crying yet again over Chester’s death... This song is so heartfelt.

That is a reference to ‘The Day I Tried To Live’ by SoundGarden… That’s so emotional and heartfelt.

that's the style of songs he wanted to keep making (metal leaning). but the rest of the band (TDG) wanted to go back to their earliest/softer sound (which is how TDG sound now with matt the new singer, only not as good). that's the very reason adam left the band.

This sounds like a combination of the albums "Life Starts Now" and my favorite Three Days Grace album "Transit of Venus".
Heard the lyrics "crawling in my skin" and immediately thought of Chester Bennington. May the legend himself rest in peace.
I saw in an interview where Adam said he had Incorporated some lyric lines from different musicians that passed away. That's how I recognized this.

So I’ll be honest.. I didn’t know a thing about this band until I played on my Apple Music “three days grace and others” or whatever it was… and man was I pissed to find out that Adam was in a new band.. and I had no clue..
