My biggest problem is the cost. I wound up buying a chinese made knockoff on Ebay for 650 including the mount. Have had zero issues with it. Came primed and ready for prep. Took about 2 hours to sand it up well and use a bit of filler to even everything out. Paint was super easy using an adhesion promoter first. I'd say quality is on par with most other FXRP fairings available for 1.2k+. Mount is solid. Holes were already in the right place for my windshield, but I did need to drill out for the headlight cover and the lower support bracket which was fine. I'd say install was as easy as any of the half dozen I've helped friends install. I designed and 3d printed 8" speaker adapters and run 2 x Kicker KM8 marine speakers at 150w RMS, 300w peak off the same JVC bluetooth amp you run (Have you dyno'd that amp?! It's wild man! Bridged to 2 channels at 4 ohms it's only supposed to push 150w RMS, but it pushes well over 200w rms) Even though the speakers are open air/infinite baffle speakers that don't require a full enclosure I am running some custom foam baffles on the inside to increase the low and mid range response. I don't have my gauges like you (I ride a Street Bob with a 5 gallon conversion), so I had free space up top over my PV. I run a motorcycle Android Auto unit for nav and to use as a head unit. Basically, phone connects on bluetooth through the unit and unit pushes bluetooth to the amp. Looks pretty sick and I get a ton of compliments on it. I'm in the process of adding a JVC KS-DR2001D for bass in my bags and running dual 6.5 woofers as well.
The grill was likely printed in PETG. I print everything in ABS/ASA for my bike, which is much much stronger than PETG. Different filaments have different qualities and using anything other than ABS/ASA for a motorcycle should be avoided...but companies try to cut costs I guess.
