It's been shown the producers have employees mess with things too. They mix salt and sugar so tastes are off, they turn up and down stoves and ovens. They do a lot to make it so Ramsey has things to yell about for rating.
@@jonswa But they're rotating stations all of the time and gotta prepare things in advanced, among other things. Even if the employees messed with something before or after they got there, the chefs are still responsible for what they're working with. They've literally checked and set up everything before service begins.

They should’ve added 2 extra slots back like before so that Rochelle or Jason from season 7 could’ve had a reason to return or maybe even Jen could’ve be replaced by Tennille or even Steve for drama purposes (season 13) and have 18 chefs in total 9 rooks and 9 vets

Rewatching her appearance this season, Jen seriously overestimated how much harder it would be this season, and didnt have some humility to own up to her mistakes. Everybody on veterans wanted it harder than she did on their second chance, and rookies were outperforming on challenges, but not line work, which veterans did better on. Such a sad sight to see she brought onto herself
May i ask how do you think it was harder? To me, it was easier seeing how much Gordon's intensity and over the top cursing and shouting had toned down from her earlier appearance on Season 4 till now (14 seasons later). It should have made focusing, attention to detail, cooking etc alot more fluid and smooth this time around especially that he was mostly picking on things that actually needed to be addressed and fix as opposed to earlier picking on literally anything and everything.

Nick made it into the semi-finals which is further then how he did in season 14 being eliminated shortly after getting a black jacket so i don't think Nick was robbed per say. I do think that Nick could have done better then Bejamin in the finale cause Nick is definetly more assertive and demanding then Benjamin is as we can see in services/challenges. I'm also sure that Benjamins refusal or hesitance to kick Robyn out after over and undercooking multiple meats leading to GR kicking her out while he stood there cost him the finale. What cemented his loss however, is when he let Robyn back in after GR kicked her out.

It was either Migraine Matt(S4) or Crazy Jen(S4) at that point so we got Jen(S4) in the end and this was what we’ve gotten🤣. As far as Nick’s elimination in All Stars, it could’ve gone either way. Like if Michelle or Benjamin finished 3rd place, then people wouldn’t complain too much. Now if Nick made the final 2, he’s winning no matter what. Benjamin would’ve still lost regardless because not only was he too laid back at times when Ramsay called him out for it in most of his services but his failure to control Jennifer and Robyn on his team did it for him. Not to mention he didn’t bother to kick Robyn out and with that he allowed her back in. If only Benjamin took full control of his team near the end, then maybe he could’ve won.

It wouldn’t be until the very next season where Ramsay would change that by eliminating Carol(S5) from the winning team at the final 7. Louross unfortunately just got unlucky due to him being the main reason why the blue team lost that service. Trust me! On any future season, Matt(S4) would be an early boot or would’ve been eliminated from the winning team. The fact that Ramsay waited till season 5 to do that was main blowing but I can see that he probably regretted not doing that to Matt(S4) the previous season.
I only recently climbed down the HK rabbit hole and only saw clips of this elimination so I went through the entirety of season 4 waiting for it to happen, unaware it was from a later season.
I worked at Barcelona Wine Bar last summer as a food runner, this is NOT an exaggeration for how it works in the kitchen. This is why I can’t work in a kitchen anymore, I know myself enough to know I can’t handle the pressure.
The thing is if you talk back and disrespect someone who knows what their doing your automatically out and it makes sense because disrespection is not tolerated especially towards chef Ramsay /talking from experience\
I don't think it was as painful as it was uneven, one team was absolutely dominating the competition for most of the season. The only painful seasons to me was season 11 and season 16.
She was not much different then her Season 16 appearance in terms of attitude and personality. Cooking ability maybe a bit better but overall, no thank you don't think she should have been allowed to come back.

We do gotta give her credit for being the only runner up in her 2nd time round to make it to a Black Jacket compared to T and Kevin. Now yes I do think Kanae should’ve gotten a Black Jacket too but at the same time, I can’t say Heather didn’t deserve one. I can even argue that there should’ve probably been 6 Black Jackets at best and most people wouldn’t be complaining too much but looking back at that last Black Jacket lounge challenge, Heather did execute her dish better than Kanae and yes Kanae took risk, most of them had flaws in them so I see why Heather got the last one. It’s all about how the execution comes out in Ramsay’s eyes. Like I said, maybe there should’ve been 6 Black Jackets that season but that elimination wasn’t as bad as the next season(Nikki’s elimination over Amber hurts me a little more).
