Nilka's elimination I think is the saddest, but ended well for both her and Gordon. He met her when she was about to enter her cab, then explqined everything calmly. No drama here, just reconciliation, and of course Gordon asked for the jacket which Nilka pretended to wanting to keep it with her.
Peter just summed up how the show treats you mentally, and realizes that no amount of money is worth handling pressure of being a chef and being constantly told negative things over and over by an angry British guy. Peter is a legend
Peter was a real one for just straight up admitting he didn’t have it ngl. At a certain point, stubbornly refusing to accept defeat is just self destructive and magnifying the inevitable.
It’s easy to make fun of these people when they are so upset, or when they cook bad, but it’s so stressful to be in this kind of environment, and if you move wrong you go out of sync with your team and it can be impossible to get back into it. Then, when you know you are failing yourself and your team, Gordon comes over and tells you that your also failing him and the customers, it’s the chefs fault, but it can be hard to realize that them getting so upset can be more than just “Gordon sucks and I am angry”
@kofibabone725 Failing once doesnt mean you're a natural failure, and its hard to be in an environment like this. Even if you are good nerved can take over. This comment is greatly lacking in perspective.
Props to Peter for being a big enough person to be able to say, "I'm in over my head, I'm not ready for this." I saw a thing where RUclips channel FlynnMasters said that Jen’s Season 18 ejection was more of a rage-quit, and I have to agree that it straddles the line between the two. Given how she was so willing to hand her jacket in even before Ramsay told her to remove it, you can tell she was done and ready to walk out the door. It is a shame too, as Jen had the longest time between her initial season and All-Stars. Yet instead, to quote Trinity The Tuck: She’s not the same, She’s WORSE!
I pretty much consider it an ejection if Gordon says to the chef something along the lines of "Take your jacket off and get out!" which he did to Jen, so I see it as an ejection. But I can still kind of see what some people would think it was a quit.

Josh gets home and checks the mail, open a letter and it says
"GET OUT"
Josh tired sit down in his bed and listens to his voicemail and hears
"GET OUT"
Josh lays back to fall asleep and dreams about winning HK when he hears
"GET OUT"
Wakes up panicked with "GET OUT" echoing in his head....till this day Josh has not recovered from his trauma
This was hilarious beyond belief 😂
A bit over the top 😂
At least Peter was honest with himself and didn’t waste no time leaving
17:02 "Front door! Front Door" 🤣🤣🤣 cold asf. Then throws his Jacket
I saw a thing where RUclips channel FlynnMasters said that Jen’s Season 18 ejection was more of a rage-quit, and I have to agree that it straddles the line between the two.
It's the old "You can't fire me, I quit!". She won't have been eliminated that night, anyway
@@ChristineTheHippie *would've
I pretty much consider it an ejection if Gordon says to the chef something along the lines of "Take your jacket off and get out!" which he did to Jen, so I see it as an ejection. But I can still kind of see what some people would think it was a quit.
That would be worse if it's a rage-quit because there's a saying, "You can train to get skills, but nobody can train you to get better attitude.".
@@ro-86alkonost78 Joy being an example of that quote
He was honest and admitted he couldn't do it. That takes courage. Respect him all the way.
“Your best is not good enough!” That’s one of his best lines that really hits hard
Josh is kinda underrated. He seems like such a sweet guy and I can tell from his voice he's fighting back his tears man
True. i'm glad gordon see he had a big heart aswell.
everybody talking about peter but nobody talking about Ben who, despite not really liking lacey, didn't want her too go down in flames, it was truly a moment of actual teamwork because even though this is a competition, you still have to be respectful too the other competitors, Ben noticed the state she was in and immediately jumped in to help her out, thats a quality that you ACTUALLY want in a chef because at the end of the day you can have 10 professional chefs working a kitchen with no teamwork, and still be beaten by 10 home chefs who all work together
Its also a case of sometimes people's rhythms are off and you need to be able to help them in these intense enviroments.
yk gordan might be pissed but he still cares about safety uno, he told her not to touch it cause its hot but still tore into her lmaooo we love to see it 8:25
Poor Josh. He was genuinely a really nice guy. I hope he does well in his future endeavours.
18:57 Gordon: “Smart WHAT?” “BULLSHIT!!” “GET OUT!!”😂😂
She couldn't even imitate an angry Scotsman in her dreams if she tried.
She was 33 at the time of airing, yet she acted like a 3-year old.
@@amethyphoenixit's worse than Sebrina
@@michaelharrisjr yep
Nope, she just does not admit to be disrespected.
wow. i have never seen anyone as gracious or as humble as peter on this show. man knew that he couldn’t do it, so he just walked out, not wanting to waste anyone’s time. absolute g
6:29 They should have left the part where Lacey said that her mom had told her NOT to make enemies during her competition, and she did the opposite.
The fact that her mom told had to tell her that says a lot about her character
16:31 Ramsay realizing he’s talking to someone who may have snapped and grounding them to reality. He handled that expertly.
Huge respect Peter. You are the man... you are right. No amount of money can replace cosy family and happiness. A man can live with what he has. A man cant live without family and happiness.
He didn't FIGHT for his family & happiness either.
@@LamondreKondejust because he realized he is not ready to be an executive chef? There are many paths in life, not just being executive chef
@@comicblossoms i wouldn't even respond to ppl like him they can't make coherent sentence
Kevin got eliminated and didn’t even get a final confessional, he just disappeared lol
He wasn’t going to play the tv game and just left
Nilkas elimination is probably the most iconic. Gabriel was a crap chef but props to him for taking his brutal elimination well. Didn’t make up excuses, cuss chef Ramsay, and apologised to his team. He knew it was his fault and took accountability.
“Did you bite that?!?!”
*licks lips nervously*
lol, he really didn’t help himself 😂
11:24 customer: “Ohhhh.”
20 seconds later “Ohhhh.”
Exact same goofy reaction. This show’s editing is recycled hilarity.
😂
That's Minnie Driver!
It's important to remember the show is designed for TV first and foremost, so it's the segments of the show spliced together without the ads that would have followed in between.
The repeats are there largely from those said ad breaks. Play what happened, ad break occurs, repeat parts when the show resume.
11:24 11:41
It's cause the ad breaks are removed so it looks very goofy😂
Im glad Peter was at least honest to himself. I think that was pretty good for him to realize before it was too late.
I love how the waiters just watch everything unfold when Gordon starts yelling at the chefs.
20:08 still one of the most confusing, instantaneous, and mind boggling elimination I’ve ever seen
