I think we share a playlist in the universe. Skid row and Airwolf? C'mon! Leggo!
Hell ya!
Fought like a switch blade so no one could bring him down.. killer cover man,,sounds real good!
At least nothing was broken when my rear end started making some noise some how I folded the spider gears over on a explorer carrier 🤦♂️ I ended up with a true track so no more spider gear problems 😂
I had the same problem with the shim packs. Went back to 1 piece per side.
Neo, look into “super shim” kits. They have an inside and outside that fits the housing properly, then there are thin shims in the middle to take up needed thickness. “Adjustable shims” basically
Thanks i sure will!
Always my favorite content to watch! Because of you I am starting to gravitate to the idea to race my vert in the future. It's been about 30 years racing at Englishtown which is no longer but Orlando and Bradenton aren't too far from me now. You're a bad influence Dan!🤣🤣🤣
Just do what you can afford and love to do. At some points in racing its just too much
seems the axle housing flex just enough for a few of those small shims to wiggle out over time! Good catch and lesson learned, probably good idea to find a thicker shim than to stack thin ones.
Ya I don’t know why there was even that shim in there. Didn’t think would be a problem
Why ain't no one liking vids, come on folks give neo some love!
Yo Neo. I'm finally of the jack stands up and running drove her to a local car show dirty and rough looking but I was happy as a pig in s@#%t. I was going to ask about the blue trans fluid from a previous video you but you answered it here. Thanks dude for the kick in the a$$.
Hell ya man glad i could help!
@Neomustangs Smurf piss I believe is the technical name...
ahaha. thanks for reminding me why i gave up racing a long time ago. at some point, its not fun anymore. i have long passed that threshold. idk if i even gaf about my newedge anymore. i dont wanna do this on my time off from work. your killin it, keep at it man. im just gettin old. it happens.
I get it for sure!
After breaking a few things back when I raced motocross, riding 50s seemed like a good compromise 😂
I'm getting older too. Finding it harder and harder to make myself dive into maintaince. Still love to drive and reminisce about "glory days"! The necessary grunt work is difficult to face!
I think the kit from Yukon gear has pretty good side shims, they have a step in the center that the thin shins can’t come out of. Pretty sure that’s where I got mine, not positive though. I do prefer to use the factory stuff when ever possible though, much easier to do.
Good deal…. Thanks again
Thx for watching
Get your car off the jack stands. 😊
Get some motive ss12 shims. They have two half’s with a step the small shim sit in and this can’t happen. The reason it happens is bearing wear and then they become loose and can walk. Also I’ve had bearing failure with that fluid. Not a fan. I like the idea of it but it gave me problems twice and I was done with that.
Hmmmm. Count down in 30
You still going to do something with the coyote motor
Glad you found a problem, these diffs take a beating, especially the torque your getting out of motors, they are
one of the weakest parts.
100%. I knew this needed maintenance.. i had extra parts waiting just in case.

Neo-love your channel man.. What do you use for fuel pump..im in the 800ish at the wheels but want a better pump..running a 340lph right now but seems right at the limit?
340 even wired up would be rough to be even close to 800. You must be on gas not e85.
