Legend of Legaia is my favorite RPG of All-Time so I was excited when this came out. I was disappointed it wasn’t a sequel to the original game but once I looked at it as its own game I really enjoyed it. I play it ever so often
One of my favorites. That and the original. I feel like they refined a lot of the mechanics from the first game. Although I miss the equipment visibility from the first one. I'd love a remaster of both, honestly.
Hey, Oni Black Mage if you’re reading this…thank you. Thank you for all the amazing content. I watch you videos all the time. I can’t imagine the amount of time and effort you put into these videos
This is one of my favorite ps2 games, and the og is one of my favorite ps1. Both games deserve a remaster because of how deep the story is, amazing characters and gameplay. I beat this game 100% so many times, though I wish you could see the equipment visibly change like in the og game
Wow my bell had to glitch out and make me miss *this* gem? I love this game. It's so derpy. One of the people responsible for the english translation commented on "Gaming with Spoons" channel and mentioned that it had major issues but they had to ship it by the deadline and it really held it back from selling on this side of the water.
The slog til you get a more useful party member than Maya or wait until she becomes useful was so annoying. Once you get over that hurdle, the game actually becomes decent.
I tried to get into this game, but I couldn't. It's a shame Legaia is yet another series from the golden age of RPGs that has been consigned to history.
Both Legaia games are so underrated. I love the input based gameplay. I wish there were more entries in this franchise.
I'm so happy to see Legaia 2: Dual Saga get a recap! This is a nostalgic game, and I would play this again!

I am proud to be one of the 260,000 people who owned this underrated great game
Same here!
I also owned it at one point.
Ditto.
And I owned 2
Me to great game.

SAME
Wow I loved this game when I was a kid, thanks for the Recapataion 🎉🎉
Its like you read my mind...I was thinking about this game and out you come with a video Oni Black Mage. Thank you.
I enjoyed the game but wish it was more like the OG Legaia. Thanks for the memories!

Thank you for the kind words and taking the time to watch!

I remember this. Maya was such a good use of the combat art system. Combining elements like that made her fun
Finnnalllly somebody did a recap of this game!!!!!
Personal headcanon I have: The Origin's are the ghosts of Seru eons after the events of the first game who are possessing people to continue living.
Been waiting for this
the nostalgia, i love this channel
I used to love both this and the original, but oh man did I have my blinders on to the graphics
I love the storylines from both
This was a good sequel only problem was there wasnt alot of dungeons and the game is short. But the accessary and combine system was refreshing
I love this game. Still have a copy
Me to my boy lol😂
Another excellent recap oni 👍
I loved this game and the original. I can see the major jojo's bizarre adventure influence now. 🤘

i never played this one, but I love the og to bits, this is fun to see !
So happy to come across this video! I never finished the game!
I'm legit surprised that you didn't mention Elfin and her Death Hugs and Dynamite Hips.
This game was great. The villain gives me serious Dio vibes.
You thought it was Avalon. BUT IT WAS ME, DIO
KONO POWA
Are you ever going to revisit the Persona series? i.e. Persona 4 Golden, Persona 5 Royal, maybe some of the spin-offs, etc
For sure. If you ever want to check out my soft schedule, check out "the-queue" channel in my Discord (link in description)
What Did you use to record this footage off of the PS2?
Emulation and OBS (I do still have a working PS2 and a copy of this game though)
I loved this game
Great game, but pales to the original Legend of Legaia.
The slog til you get a more useful party member than Maya or wait until she becomes useful was so annoying. Once you get over that hurdle, the game actually becomes decent.
Ugh this game was such a letdown cuz legaia is literally my favorite game ever and this broke my heart
But why? The game is great. What about it made you dislike it to the point that it "broke your heart"?
@@mikeg5039 it was like that for me too until I just looked at it as its own game and not a direct sequel
How about tales of eternia recap ? On ps1 it was tales of destiny 2 later when game came up on psp they have change the name
Actually working on that atm
So cool
I tried to get into this game, but I couldn't. It's a shame Legaia is yet another series from the golden age of RPGs that has been consigned to history.
Could you please do a recap of KH dark road.
Own this game, played this game, I still only remember the gameplay and Nothing of the story
NGL, the gameplay is pretty solid and probably the main memorable thing
@@OniBlackMageNice!
But while I wish the first game got a PS4 PS5 Switch port/remaster the 2nd game was kind of pure crap.
Omg!
