@@skymstr1 You are correct the tail lights are not correct for a Shelby, I have a 68 and rear end is the same as what being installed. As you noted this is a Shelby clone so I guess the owner can order what ever he wants. Last note - I prefer the GT rear end than the Shelby.
We all enjoy these videos so let's help this guy out and next time you're at the local mustang show or club meeting tell them about the channel. And be sure to tell them to subscribe too. This we help him and he will keep giving us this great video content.
That's alot of work and I can see that it takes alot of patience too.I believe you're the best man out there on these Mustangs and it sure is fun to watch. Thank you and have a great week.
Dude. U are amazing. 1 thing about your work is that every part is ready before any welding takes place. The only way to do it. I know alot of body shops can't understand that and then the mistakes start. Lovely video once again .
That's why a body shop put a new quarter panel on my 2013 Cruze and it had to come off because it was done wrong. I'm a journeyman my self of 35 years and retired so I know how they roll. Thanks anyways.
Mr. Ben First I want to thank you for picking mustangs as your line of expertise, as I enjoy every video you put out, great work I'm doing a restomod on my 70' Mach 1, thanks to your videos. Does anyone offer the extra height for the rear foil, like the 67-68 Shelby's, as I am a NASCAR fan, and don't care for a rear wing. Also, I've ask before & didn't get answer, I would like info on the PC's you make that run from grill to radiator and the one covers radiator under the hood for a 70' model. Thanks again, great work!!!
Great work… I could sit and watch this all day 😀😀😀😀 30k congratulations… won’t be or long before next milestone, our videos are getting better each time…
Great work and loving the content. Glad to see you showing the extra effort it takes to make everything fit. As always, looking forward to the next video.
I really enjoy your vidoes, its early days for me so have lots of your videos to catchup on but I'll get there eventually. Its been said many time before I know, you make it look so easy "but defo not!", I wanted to ask you a quick question I need to replace the entire floor of a 67 fastback, also the entire trunk area, rear panels and outer quarter panels each side, basically everything aside from the inner top 1/4 panels everthing completley cut off right up to the door posts, what the best way to start with fit everything leaving the rusty floor till last or take all off including the floor, I'm concerned if i end up with only the front half of a car only it maybe harder to align everthing back as i have I nothng for reference, meaning at least keep the old floor till last that way having the width of the vehicle not twist and move around as much or is that a good thing. the last thing I want is a car thats not aligned properly
Great video as always-it’s always a pleasure to see the master at work…one question, though, and I’m probably nitpicking, but if it’s Shelby clone, isn’t that the wrong taillight panel?
Another excellent video and explanation of what you're doing. Though I wouldn't dismiss this one demanding a six figure price (but who knows it might)...Something in the mid to upper five figure wouldn't be unreasonable to a collector; especially if this is a 'turn key' show quality ride. Might I suggest black Crager's with chrome centers & stainless beauty rings....?????? Pretty please????...and while I'm dreaming....a white leather interior & black carpet would be killer......just sayin.
I think most of his builds are customer’s cars so I guess they will have the main say on the cosmetic touches…(The pink car is Ben’s personal keeper I believe) A true craftsman.
Would these one piece quarters be used if this was a Concour restoration of a genuine Shelby, or is the new norm in doing the back half on a Mustang? Great work, and I really enjoy the channel!
I enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing. I have some questions... How much of original car is actually used ? Why are you not just using original serial number with all new sheet metal ? Seems expensive to buy a old rusty body and remove most of sheet metal and not using 90%. I understand the cost numbers must work out in the end, be nice to know more. Thank you Cheers
Congrats on hit'n the big THREE O subs, lol.... I sure hope, after watching your resurrection builds, people come away understanding exactly HOW MUCH just a shell of a classic car is worth. I know I do, and all I have is a coupe. Keep it up chief... Good stuff!! #LETSGOBRANDON😁
Gr8 work I'd like to turn my 67 coupe to a fartback. I'm in oz so very expensive and the look I get from panel shops is 😳 monieeee. I've worked in heavy fabrication most of my life, over 40 years, I'd like your opinion on doing this. My mustang is a T code 3 speed manual bad paint but solid.
They do look great, there’s no doubt about that. I guess the main question is are you in a position to spend another 💰20k on the car and keep it and enjoy it, or will spending that money then force you to sell it, cos then you’ll have no Mustang? 🤔
You know he's good when you think "Man that doesnt look hard at all" but you only have a zippo, a few allen wrenches, and a vulgar vocabalary. I got this
Very, very nice. I love the trunk lid with the original 67 tail lights. You do fantastic work, the kind that deserves a premium.
I thought this was a Shelby Clone? Why the original Mustang style tailights?

Great 3D puzzle. Amazing fine job. Looking forward to watching the next video. Greetings from Belgium.
it is the most beautiful car in the world😢😢😢😍😍😍
Just make sure you always tape a new gasket on the decklid before you do any welding on the qtrs. I do the same thing on the the doors also.

It's a pleasure watching a perfectionist at work, bringing life back into these cars! 👍
I’m a fellow restoration technician, awesome work your doing on those old fords.
Thank you...I love these build series.
Your work and attention to detail is so inspiring.

I wouldn't have the patience I just know it! That's why I'm watching and you're doing!
Fitments are a must and the way you getem aligned is amazing looking forward to the next video thumbs up 👍.

Body shops put metal to patch than bondo to fill gaps

Looking good to see that coming together.
Another great video. Looking forward to the next one
Great video as usual. Love seeing how this is all coming together. Is the next video ready? How bout now? Now?
Such a tedious job, can't imagine doing that without help. Looking fantastic 👍👍
Awesome! Just awesome work! Love it!
Looks amazing! But I thought you were going to use a Shelby taillight panel?
Any of the knowledge you wanna share helps no matter how small or insignificant you may think it is 😊😊
Good job keep them coming
Great vid 👍👌the progress on the mustang is awesome
The '67 is shaping to be an awesome car- very likely better than when it left the Ford Motor Company plant. FR
You do such a great job on these project car’s 👍
Great work and loving the content. Glad to see you showing the extra effort it takes to make everything fit. As always, looking forward to the next video.
Lookin’ good! 👍
So cool, it would be awesome to someday be a customer
love your work would love to own one of your cars
Love the videos, thanks!

You need a frame jig.
Great videos iam from sweden what kind of paint to you use under the panels the black one

And do u have footage of when u installed the new one
When checking final fitment of quarters, do you also check glass opening using the trim to ensure it fits, gaps are correct?
Now , do you use cavity wax in areas after welding , to prevent rust , even tho your using weld thru primer.
Would these one piece quarters be used if this was a Concour restoration of a genuine Shelby, or is the new norm in doing the back half on a Mustang? Great work, and I really enjoy the channel!
Ben awesome work 👍 quick question will you ever do foxbody mustangs as the collector car market moves that way ?
My mtf fiberglass trunk sits too high at the corners by the quarter by rear glass. Any suggestions? You make it look too easy.
I enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing.

When you install a new roof panel, what are you using in place of the lead filler? Do you reapply it or use something else?
Are there aftermarket panels for every panel? Can you make a complete fastback car from aftermarket panels?
Dynacorn will sell you a brand new '67 Fastback bodyshell with doors and deck lid for $17500.

You are using standard 67 Mustang tail light panel not Shelby
Fibreglass
Trunk lid and quarter end caps, yes.

It's one helluva lot harder to do this than he makes it look like. Detail-heavy experience makes it look easy. It's not.
Surprised you don’t have a large spot welder
