16:35 Hmmmmmmmm is exactly right. 🤣 Oregon is special. Coaches know it, players know it, fans know it, and recruits know it. And though they'll never admit it, deep down even rivals know it, and that's why they hate Oregon. 😁
I think Oregon will be really good. I am concerned a bit about the o line meshing with all the transfers, as well as quality depth on the d line, but we have been recruiting well the past years so hopefully we have developed some guys that will contribute to the rotation at a high level. Like you alluded to, none of these other teams are coming in this year with juggernaut rosters of the past. Talent wise, Oregon is up in the top 5 but we will see how it plays out.
Oregon reminds me of the Buffalo Bills during 1991-94. I was a tiny kid at the time but I remember them going to the championship game many times but always losing at the last moment. Can you imagine if Oregon won all the time they were suppose to win it all? We would definitely be talking about Oregon in a way different light. Maybe a dynasty? But unfortunately they seem to lose at the times they needed it the most. I feel bad for Spencer because he has the job of explaining why it didn’t work out again(and again).
I feel sorry for the kid too. Totally getting hosed into having to justify how “close” they are and then stating… “no prob not next year…” do you think other elite programs that recruit at high levels do this? HELL NO. The key with talented squads is to have absurdly high expectations, have a media that holds coaches ACCOUNTABLE (where the hell is this in the Oregon media?) and then play like your hair is on fire; these coaches don’t ever justify playing with a chip on the shoulder when it counts. That’s why they don’t win; they are SOOOFT. Learn from OSU and be more EAST COAST TOUGH please… how many years does it take to learn this jeez
@ It is like they expect to lose and it is ok as long as they are in the top 3 teams in the country. It’s a weird atmosphere/attitude they have in Oregon.
I feel I need to " devolve" from the "Normal" consensus from the " talking Heads" on College football prognostication!! I have re- evaluated the upcoming 2025 schedule....and I feel WILDLY Optimistic!! We have a HEAVY Home slate! And our Road schedule doesn't seem....." Daunting!!"
This next season's schedule for our Ducks looks EXTREMELY manageable!! If current roster predictions hold true..... AND.... Oregon doesn't get HUGELY Bitten by the " Injury " Bug.....There is NO reason, that I can forsee, why our Ducks do not at LEAST make the playoffs!!!
If we learned anything from the National Championship Game between ND and Ohio State, the Ducks need to get big and physical to be able to compete. Figure out how incorporate 50/50 run to pass ratio. It has been proven you can't pass your way into a Championship. There needs to be complete football from Defense to Offense.
Start going through returning QB's. Ohio State won't have one. ND won't have one. 'Bama, Georgia, etc. It's easier to find a top-5 that is much different. ASU, Tennessee, Penn State, Clemson, are all in the mix for my 5.
Georgia 2021 got smoked by Alabama in the SEC Championship. Georgia 2022 beat Ohio State by 1 point. Nick Saban only had 2 undefeated seasons in his entire career. It’s completely normal for even the most elite teams to play close games or to lose a game. CFB fans have the worst memories.
Winning the conference is more of a punishment with all that time off, give, me that home playoff game that’s the best way to start.

I dont think anyone hates Oregon other than old Pac-12 rivals.
No the reason people hate Oregon is the same reason they hate Ohio state you guy’s trying to buy a natty.

Who’s going to start at QB?
The biggest factor is Dante and how he plays
Phil still wants a championship. Check's in the mail.
Never too early... The only goal now is making the CFP, nothing else matters.
Penn State is gonna be an absolute wagon next year.
Preseason Rankings are just wrong.

2 USA Today College Football writers have Oregon at #11 in their way-to-early rankings...😯🦆🏉
USA Today is trash
No good for maybe a year before the roster blows up.
It IS WAY TO EARLY!!!😅😅
NIL has made SEC average. Haha
Oregons heading into next ten years: don’t be apologists period and justify the soft program
Morning lips
Morning spike. Does your babysitter know you're getting too much screen time again?
Texas is overrated
Oregon is not making top 25 for the next 4 years.
What?????? Of course they will be in the top 25. Oregon will be on the top 5.
You must be an Oregon state fan😂
Someone is looking for attention… 🫵🏼
would you like to bet money on that?
This is the same crap as the people who (preseason 2024) said that Oregon would finish in the bottom of the B1G. GTFOH hater!
