It's been a hell of a year of discovery, a literal brain-dump of experimental music all thanks to you. Looking forward to what the next one will bring. Cheers mate!
Contest: 1. Laurie Spiegel - The Expanding Universe (Ambient) 2.Theo Parrish - Sound Signatures (House) 3. Anthony Braxton - Six Compositions (Free Jazz) On Vinyl and listen to on Quobuz In addition, how do you want us to submit for those whom have "Tip Our DJ" to get your fabulous work?
Cheers, yes it's certainly a varied listen, lots going on. Also features Karus Torabi on at least one track, which I hadn't actually picked up on originally.

Bon Noel mon ami. Your stream is a valuable service to me and everyone in the VC. There is always something to learn about here. Nice to win a competition and as you can see, I am certainly watching with intent. I will recommend 3 records though I think if you pick something, I should not be able to win again. Thanks for the stream and happy holidays to you Stunty. Loved the Xerrox 5, the Sbordoni, the Ocora Centrafrique, and more. It's the variety really that keeps things interesting, and it's great to see that a lot of people have a similar eclectic taste in music. I would love to hear the mix you made. Thanks!
@@StuntrockConfusionYes I left a tip a while ago. Continueing on this stream now, love the Juyungo comp, I’ll be on the lookout for that as well. Your stream is opening new rabbitholes for me, my wallet cries, haha!
There's an excellent compilation of Andean music in the vein of the Juyunga comp called Puro Tayta Shanti on Little Axe/Discos Shanti from a few years ago that you should check out if you don't know it.
I guess that could count as a recommendation, so I'll add a couple from this last year that I haven't seen you mention: Six Crossings by C_C (ZamZam Records) and Piano Etudes by Mashu Hayasaka.

@ Cool! I’m glad you like the recommendations. Yeah I can’t find any samples online of the Lawalree album either. Basically, he plays his compositions on a church organ. That probably sounds like it can’t be a good album, but somehow it sounds fantastic. Pastoral and heartfelt compositions, just sublime.
I'm a little late but I'd love to get the "Stunty Mix" for the holidays. Have a great holiday. The stream last night was even more fun then usual. Hey Frank, I've owned the CD of the Paul Schütze album since its releas in the 90ies, but I do plan to get the LP version, and maybe do something special about it
Hi Stunty, just catching up.. great stream. . My recommendation would be by an artist we’ve definitely discussed briefly online.. Phil Minton..The Enigma Carols (2005). Was his only record with the Feral Choir and small ensemble. I saw him once with Roger Turner in a duo and he was saying how unappreciated /misunderstood he was in Britain. He would play for peanuts to an empty venue here and then pack out clubs in Berlin etc.. for good money. Anyway, I have a suspicion that you know or have this album. It’s on RUclips.
The party is continuing here, nothing much happening tomorrow so we are all digging through the flight cases. Will send you three recommendations in the next couple of days. Looking forward to hearing your Christmas mix. ✌️
Hello Stunty. I'm excited to hear what wonderful Christmas music you'll be presenting this week. It can only be Gregorian chants to suit the occasion, right? 😂
COMPETITION ENTRY FOR THREE ALBUMS: A truly impossible task, there are many DnB, raw Dubstep and early Acid/Techno 12s I could name drop but albums it is. My first choice is: Original Dub DAT by the Iration Steppas. It is still possible to hear some Ital Rockers elements within this. (NB: have not chosen for reasons which may become evident, I still listen to it and it sounds as good as the early mixes I heard prior to release). Second choice: Agrovators Meets The Revolutioners - At Channel One Studios (Instrumental) 1977 (Third World UK release is best sounding. This features along with and amazing line up the horn playing of Tommy McCook. Great production by Bunny Stryker Lee . Finally: Cristobal Tapia de Veer* - Smile 2 (Music From The Motion Picture), I have not seen the film but am familiar with Cristobals soundscape work. I have been listening to this one on my commutes. NB. This is a wasted recommendation though on account that the limited vinyl has not come out yet. Over and out from Croydon, Peace 🙂
On account of my third choice probably not counting. Here is a 12 inch and documentary recommendation. Sheila Rickards Meets King Tubby - Jamaican Fruit Of African Roots. The documentary: shella Record - A reggae mystery is an incredible journey 🦁
Too bad that the later kremski "satie" era is only available on cd as it is my favorite from him. Seekers Of The Truth is an underated masterpiece imho.
I played his 3 LPs last year quite a lot, and they became instant faves of quite a few of us in this little community. Hard to not fall in love with it
Somehow my first post disappeared here. So let's try again. Great show as always. The three recommendations, all released or re-released in 2024: 1.
