Mr. De Vore this world is a better place because you are in it. I feel thankful to be alive in the same historic moment you are. You intellect, your vision you drive, your kindness… you will be remembered long after your time on Earth is over. Your children, your wife your parents are wealthy beyond measure… Because you exist and who you are. Music and Art can not put in a heart what is not already in it. But you contribute to many hearts realize that. Your material wealth will manifest itself it is bound to happen. I wish I could support you more directly but I can not afford one of your speakers. Nonetheless I am an audio practitioner and a melomaniac since I was 11.
Although don’t feel sorry for me (I have B&W loudspeakers) and spin my vinyl under several thousand dollars of phono cartridges and phonograph gear. But I look up to you as an example of a life well lived.
Please take care of yourself and happy new year. Live long and prosper.
    Luis from Massachusetts.

Dear John, I met you only once about a couple of months ago during a presentation in Berlin. And having seen this video in addition I would like to tell you the following: You are obviously a smart, charismatic and outstanding person, with the ability to delegate responsibilities, to share knowledge and to appreciate and honor the performance and the value of "your" people. It is these (unfortunately rare) qualities that will attract even more good people who will appreciate and reflect your attitude thus helping you and your company to grow and develope in a healthy, satisfying and human way. Sometimes it is about more than the business, it is about an enviroment that feels like home... All the best for you and your fantastic company and best regards from Germany!

    Dear John DeVore,
of course you're a rich man! Running your own company, having great employees such as Dalia, and creating wonderful products must mean a sort of luck I really would be glad of having. Just think of the many owners of DeVore loudspeakers all over the world whose lifes you have been and are enriching with your beautiful works of art. And, hopefully very soon, I will be one of them!
I'm going for a loudspeaker upgrade by the middle of next year, and I'm quite sure it will be a pair of Gibbon Super Nines. So I will be part of the DeVore-lovers community, and everytime I'll put on my HiFi and listen to some wonderful sounding music, I will be a rich man as well.
Thank you for your great work, and you and Dalia and your staff and - last but not least - Roxy and Lulu-Bear and all cats and apes around the globe have a 🎄Merry Christmas 🎄

This is the kind of business you want to work for. Money should never be the primary goal. Meaning comes from the passion you have for the product or service you're offering and the human bonds created along the way. The better your formula for adding value, the more money that follows, but there are a couple of problems. 1) Some products and services have short-term convenience/benefits but are inherently destructive overall. 2) We can't all have a decadent level of access to human labor, and that's what money fundementally represents.
The focus on personal wealth to the level of decadence is at the root of everything ailing society. Socialism looks good on paper, but it quickly degenerates towards an authoritarian state as it doesn't comport to human nature. There's a better way to structure capatalism that conforms to the law of moderation. A law that applies to absolutely everything we do and consume, including all things monetary. Capatalism will be an excellent system for everyone as soon as we change the underlying motivation with a moral imperative.

One of Bob Marley’s most famous quotes about being rich is:
“Possessions make you rich? I don’t have that type of richness. My richness is life, forever.”
This reflects Marley’s belief that true wealth lies not in material possessions but in the quality of life, love, and spiritual fulfillment.

Hi John. I don’t know you and I’m only just becoming aware of your speakers. After 5 minutes of reading on the web, including the Australian distributor, I would say you are rich in the most important sense. You design, manufacture, distribute and support a world class product that is known and loved in many countries by many people. Further to that I would think you manage, support and develop your small team, and you allow them to support their families and dreams. And I can tell you do all that with fairness and integrity - the most important qualities in life I think. Richness in monetary terms may seem nice but I don’t think it would make you (or any of us) truely happy. I loved your post because it was a tribute to a great employee. All the best for 2025. Compared to Elon Musk, you are very, very poor. And compared to employees in the supermarket (or your employees)? Very, very wealthy. You say nothing about your annual income, nothing about your assets (company shares, private property). So it could be that you are richer than your viewers think possible. Please note that you have spectators who may only have 2000 to 2500 dollars net per month. For these, as a successful entrepreneur, you are not only privileged (freedom), but, as I assume, undoubtedly rich (which you have earned hard). Do you agree?

You must name your next loudspeaker Dalia as a recognition, don't you think she deserves?

But Dalia is not an ape so she cannot be named for a speaker. Maybe something else.. next Komuro amp?

She‘s no monkey, but you can name your speakers Dalia. Oh I‘m sure there are Dalia speakers somewhere already, too. So it would conflict in the market.
