Self confessed discophage, I make music, I DJ, I press records, I talk and write about music, and I buy vinyl records that you should probably get too, and I'll tell you why here.

What is stuck to the side of your head? Where's that picture??
This is a very very very late entry. Perhaps too late but I'll enter it anyway. 1) Institute of Landscape and Urban Studies, Ludwig Berger - Bodies Of Water 2) 吉沢元治 - 割れた鏡または化石の鳥 (Motoharu Yoshizawa - Cracking Mirror and the Fossil Bird) (ruclips.net/video/FOeTHEqe4Us/видео.html) 3) Βασίλης Σούκας - Belly Dance O Vasilis Soukas Ke To Klarino Tou No. 5. (ruclips.net/video/XyM06FLsm6Y/видео.html)
Check out João de Bruco/R.H Jackson “Caracol”. 2020 reissue is all you need. Mastered from OG analog tapes.
Great show. Love everything i have on Hat Hut, wondering if you recommend Stamps by Lacy? Have it on my list.
It's a 4/5, so good, but not must have
Christophe
Arrived Late and left early, have now finished watching. 3 Songs I know in one of your streams is very unusual. Love Cibo Matto and CopShootCop, have good memories of seeing them live. 👍🙏 HNY!
I just remembered to post here that single I recommended: Garfield Fleming, "Don't Send Me Away," Becket Records, 1981. Check it out, let us know your reaction.
Hey Richard, thanks for that. Listening to it I now remember. It's a good song. I tend to prefer my disco funk to be a little more dangerous, more tension, but there's room for some more purely joyful songs too. Have a great day, and happy new year again, looking forward more exchanges with you this year!
I wish you a happy, and a hopefully relaxed 2025. Keep it up...
Also Stunty re: our conversation about Psychogeography a while ago do you know the film work of Patrick Keiller? Im sure you probably do.
Hey Jonny. I am actually only familiar by name, as I have never gotten the opportunity to check his movies. Any one you would recommend first?
@StuntrockConfusion I only know the 'Robinson Trilogy' : London, Robinson in Space and Robinson in Ruins which are all well work a look. I need to catch up with his other stuff.
Excellent stream. Lots to investigate as usual. I can't stop listening to the Clothilde album.
Great stream as always thx
First stream of the year from Mr stuntrockconfusion and it didn't disappoint great stream as always here to many more in 2025 🎶🎶✌️
In that Libray wall of records stream from a while back you mentioned, Lo recordings out of London. I actually made a short piece of new library music for them this fall. Maybe it will get used , who knows? Anyways very interesting selection tonight felt sorta brutal compared to last weeks more pastoral and pretty tracks. Take care and thanks Stunty!
Oh, that's very cool, say hello to Jon from me!
@@StuntrockConfusionhe’s a cool guy for sure.
@@andorrasrevenge1683 the english flegm incarnated ^^
Great stream as always! Happy new year Stunty. Loved the Helm record, nice deep sounds. And the Kayn of course, superb. I bought the Tektra box directly from his daughter here in the Netherlands. I was watching an older stream you did about spectral music, and that really hit home. Loved most of the records from that stream, and started with acquiring the Dufourt/Harvey/Grisey record. What a treasure of a record. Thanks for showcasing it!
Sorry I’ve missed this LS. Still recuperating after NY party. Great mix of music you’ve curated for us brother. 🫶🏻👍🏻
some local flavour. i am listening to the stream now, sat am around 0700 hrs with a americano, it makes for a nice slow wake up. one i am sure you know is katatonic silentio. has a record on Delsin and is pretty fantastic. Everything on the stream is wonderful and the coffee is good!

Prems en 2025. I'm still the best.😄👍🤘🤘
Hi stunty i discovered William Hooker on your stream ! Thank you his new album is coming in feb the pre order is available
Hi Stunty, A late entry! VALVE's album Tiny Pilots on Slowfoot Records. An interesting take an English folk/prog. Best wishes.
Hey, good entry. I like the 3rd track best. The jury is still out!
Cheers, yes it's certainly a varied listen, lots going on. Also features Karus Torabi on at least one track, which I hadn't actually picked up on originally.
Thank you for the music Stuntenissen - so many incredible records and forskjellige gode ting! My recommendation: Gunnar Sønstevold/Mai Sønstevold - The Kitchen Counter Experiments And Other Electronic Works (1959-1984). It’s on Bandcamp.
💙
Salut Stunty.
So good thanks
Cheers, Anthony, glad to read some people enjoy this ^^
Toujours plein de découvertes good job stunty merci, je regarde en différé mais j'apprécie beaucoup ces bizarreries musicales, a plus dans des skeud et du pif ,bise
it's a date
Bizarre,vous avez dit bizarre?
@@franciskocher200 Non, just Bizou ^^
@@StuntrockConfusionOk. Bizou a toi aussi.😘🤣🤣
That was a great one!
Cheers, and thanks for the support! And yes, glad I did push myself. As you can see from the thumbnail I created before figuring out what was on the table, I was maybe not in the most positive mindset, hahahah
@@StuntrockConfusionwell, I appreciate you putting these together every week! I’ve found many beloved pieces of music from watching the stream!
I believe the correct name for the music at 36:50 is "Hey-nonny-non music" ruclips.net/video/VwkAjvm9Jjs/видео.htmlsi=mAm9IsFUOTVdU4sA
I do like myself some Philomena ^^
Great Stream Stunty ! See you in 2025 !
I hope so, and even in the flesh, either in the US or in Den Bosch, maybe
Amazing selection, thank you! All the best for 2025!
Just finished watching the Stream🙏Eve Essex 👍
Happy holidays Stunty! Three recommendations, in no particular order... Germ Lattice "Gipping through the Ages" (Horn of Plenty, 2024) Various "The Paths Of Pain: The CAIFE Label, Quito, 1960-68" (Honest Jon's, 2021) Jim Shepard "Picking Through the Wreckage with a Stick" (Siltbreeze, 1995)
Hey Ben, fun entries! I actually own one of those already, the last one ^^. Happy New Year!
@@StuntrockConfusion used to be heavy into the Siltbreeze label and just rediscovered the Jim Shepard. So good. Did you listen to the Germ Lattice?
There's an excellent compilation of Andean music in the vein of the Juyunga comp called Puro Tayta Shanti on Little Axe/Discos Shanti from a few years ago that you should check out if you don't know it.
I guess that could count as a recommendation, so I'll add a couple from this last year that I haven't seen you mention: Six Crossings by C_C (ZamZam Records) and Piano Etudes by Mashu Hayasaka.
@@DGHouser one of the striongest entries. Stay tuned!
Stunty aVery Merry Christmas to you and thank you for the continued stream of musical knowledge! sure would like to hear your mix and here are three that might interest you on bandcamp: Beyond The Margins by Rodrigo Amado The Bridge / Alexander von Schlippenbach / Ingebrigt Håker Flaten / Gerry Hemingway Max Ax by Sculpture Spirits Align by the Man from Atlantis
I had already listened to the Sculpture album when it was released, but happy to revisit it, really liked the track California and some others. Tenor Sax is always a little hard with me, but good record. Man From atlantis is exactly the kind of crossover we love, don't we? lofi, ambient raga electronic folk
Bon Noel mon ami. Your stream is a valuable service to me and everyone in the VC. There is always something to learn about here. Nice to win a competition and as you can see, I am certainly watching with intent. I will recommend 3 records though I think if you pick something, I should not be able to win again. Irene Bianco - Kronblade (Permanent Draft) ***make sure to listen to that first track, and where it goes from there Mat Ball - Amplified Guitar 2 (The Garrote) Winged Wheel - Big Hotel (12XU) and a 4th one just cause though you probably checked this out... Wendy Eisenberg - Viewfinder (American Dreams)
Hmmm, I seem to remember listening to all of those, maybe because of you, or just going through the new releases. Decent, as Rob Walker would say ^^
My recommendations: 1: Dominique Lawalree - Litanies Du Monde A Venir 2: Aziza Jalal - Ila Awel Mattabeuna 3: Nino de Elche - Antologia Del Cante Flamenco Heterodoxo Merry Xmas!
Super strong entry, appart for the first one that I could not find music online for... But you are deffinitly up in the running
@ Cool! I’m glad you like the recommendations. Yeah I can’t find any samples online of the Lawalree album either. Basically, he plays his compositions on a church organ. That probably sounds like it can’t be a good album, but somehow it sounds fantastic. Pastoral and heartfelt compositions, just sublime.
Hello Stunty-I’d love to receive your playlist! Hope my email is somewhere in your tip archive. Thank you for all you do! Sifu Stunty I think I’ll address you as now…. Best wishes to you, happy holidays and new year!

Hello Stunty. I'm excited to hear what wonderful Christmas music you'll be presenting this week. It can only be Gregorian chants to suit the occasion, right? 😂
Ah, close enough, Chants from Tchad.
@ 😂😂😂🤪🤪🤪 I expected something like this - you won't disappoint
For the contest i recommend: Hogg- Self-Extinguishing-Emission Akagera- Traverse Flock-Flock II
Somehow my first post disappeared here. So let's try again. Great show as always. The three recommendations, all released or re-released in 2024: 1. Wired Jazz-Organ-Pop: Dubbelorganisterna (Bo Hansson et al.) - Volym 1 2. Dubby Deep-Techno-Ambient: Rhythm Doctor - Digital Juju 3. Avangarde Punk Krautrock: S.Y.P.H. - S.Y.P.Y I would love to hear your mix. Merry Christmas
I've loaded my comment twice and keeps disappearing? Are Discogs links a no-go?
@@benromley1604 That seems to be the case. For me it only worked after removing the links.
Thanks for Digital Juju, I like it.
@@magicberber05 You're welcome.
One of the strongest entries, love the Irdial connection!
COMPETITION ENTRY FOR THREE ALBUMS: A truly impossible task, there are many DnB, raw Dubstep and early Acid/Techno 12s I could name drop but albums it is. My first choice is: Original Dub DAT by the Iration Steppas. It is still possible to hear some Ital Rockers elements within this. (NB: have not chosen for reasons which may become evident, I still listen to it and it sounds as good as the early mixes I heard prior to release). Second choice: Agrovators Meets The Revolutioners - At Channel One Studios (Instrumental) 1977 (Third World UK release is best sounding. This features along with and amazing line up the horn playing of Tommy McCook. Great production by Bunny Stryker Lee . Finally: Cristobal Tapia de Veer* - Smile 2 (Music From The Motion Picture), I have not seen the film but am familiar with Cristobals soundscape work. I have been listening to this one on my commutes. NB. This is a wasted recommendation though on account that the limited vinyl has not come out yet. Over and out from Croydon, Peace 🙂
On account of my third choice probably not counting. Here is a 12 inch and documentary recommendation. Sheila Rickards Meets King Tubby - Jamaican Fruit Of African Roots. The documentary: shella Record - A reggae mystery is an incredible journey 🦁
Hi Stunty, I would be interested in getting a link to your mix if its still on offer. Thanks for another great stream on Friday.
