Raiders definitely turn up with the 'unarmed' variant, usually carrying their own weaponry. I have not seen any raiders with the armed variant yet. The Cannon on the armed variant is a monster of a weapon, far more powerful than any vanilla weapon, and the armour protection on top of that makes your pawns way way way more powerful - so if you use this mod, crank up the difficulty and start blasting.

This a good touch with the Tanks mod(i forgot the name), like you going full advance to the Mechanoid base with mbts jets bombings, and armed mech infantry, and its CE nice 👍

So far I like to use mine as a caravan hauler that’s leagues above any pack animals could do while also providing a safe means of defense for less combat adept pawns. Although for some reason mine doesn’t like to shoot sometimes and I don’t know why so the bayonet puts in its work.
Hey Pixely, That is a great use for them :) I know that pawns should be able to shoot their guns in the unarmed version while piloting it, I'm not sure that's not working, maybe it's a mod load order issue? you can always post this issue in the workshop page to let the modder know, maybe there is a solution :). Do the mechs increase or decrease your speed at all? Also, if they are destroyed while inside them do they explode and damage/kill the pilot? Last question, can you do everything whilst inside them (crafting, hauling, mining, etc.) ?
Hey Yojimbo, Great questions 1. Yes the mechs increase the speed with your pawns walk at. 2. they do explode if they are destoryed, but they do not kill the pilot 3. Hauling they can do, They can probably mine, didn't try crafting in the suits though. Thanks for the questions I hope this helped :)

I tried it but everytime i tried to use them my pawn just consumed the suit and doesn't get in it (everytime i tried making them use the suit the enter and the suit is gone plus the colonist isn't using it) maybe issue with mod order i have but the tank mod i have worked fine? (Nvm the vehicle mod is broken to now the vehicle doesn't work when i tryy to use them just said doesn't have fuel in them when i already filled them fully)
Hey Zeedax, sorry thats happening. It does sound like there might be an error in the mod order tbh. I checked today and it's still working fine for me. if you want to double check, you can spawn some from the DEV console and then have another go in a new game just to check maybe it's that save. or even try it in a new game so see if you get the same results. make sure all the important mods that change any game mechanics are towards the top, these should be around middle as they are just adding in new content into the game.

Hey Panzer, Do you have Oversized weapons mod installed in the game, I believe it needs it to show the large weapons? That is the first thing that springs to mind that could be the issue, I hope this helps :)
@@panzerjager1124 maybe it's the minify mod messing things up if you have that one, otherwise maybe the load order? if these don't work I would recommend checking out the mod page and posting the issue there, this is a relatively new mod so im sure people will be posting there issues and solutions there. Don't download. It is broken and unbalanced. Colonists can still have the weapons equipped after leaving the mech. And it is so unbalanced it makes the game a chore rather than a challenge.
Hey Rickysmyth, sorry the mod isn't quite working for you, have you posted about the weapons on the workshop page to the modders? they are very nice people and listen to feedback :). I never had that experience, my colonists could never hold the weapons once outside of the mech, I'm not sure what's happening there. Yes they are pretty powerful much they are mechs, they are ment to be. Hopefully there is a fix found for your issue with the guns :)
@@AussieBattleCat They are bland and one single color there is little detail, it's like when mods add walls or floors a lot of the time it's one solid color without details to the textures, just doesn't blend in to rimworld's textures personally, but that's just my opinion, ruins the experience when mods don't look like apart of the game for me

There is also a Program called Rimpy which will auto order all your mods in a working order, very much worth checking out :)

The size of the gaus was minified in my game when someone is controlling the AMP. Does anyone know how to fix this ?
