WARNING: THIS MAKES THE THEORY EVEN SADDER I don't think you interpreted a part of her dialogue right... The ghost says: "In the dark dream... I heard my dad's voice... Forget about the Lunar Wing... Stay with me..." But there are no quotations around "Forget about the Lunar Wing... Stay with me..." in the original text. You'd think if the father, or Darkrai as this theory says, was telling her that, she'd have quotations within the original text right? The reason quotations aren't there is because SHE is saying that. She says that she hears her father's voice in that dream. He is probably telling her that they're going to leave her to search for the Lunar Wing. But because of the lack of quotations, what she says next is what she was thinking when her father tells her they're looking for the Lunar Wing. "Forget about the Lunar Wing... Stay with me..." The little girl is telling her parents to forget about the Lunar Wing. She knows her time is up, and she only wants them to stay by her side before she passes away. In the end, her father can't hear her, and the parents go searching for the Lunar Wing. When they come back with it, she's already dead. She begged them to stay with her so she wouldn't be alone in the nightmare, wouldn't die lonely. Most likely, this means that Darkrai didn't put her into the dream on purpose, too. It was a sad accident. It also cements the thought that they dropped the Lunar Wing in their despair and left the house out of sadness and pain, not in fear of Darkrai, although they may be more close-minded than others in the Pokémon region and might have left out of fear. I wish I had never noticed. T_T
God damnit this comment almost made me cry because of how sad it is, and i have never played any of the Black and White games i do intend on it though.
The theory is decent, but it totally ignores the books about the Drowsee and Hypno, along with the books on Dream Eater and Forewarn. Here's what I think: First of all, the Cresselia and the lunar wing is obvious. Second, the bookshelf about Darkrai specifically gives one piece of info about the pokemon: that it drives people and pokemon away with nightmares for PROTECTION. The third bookshelf about Drowzee talks only about how it can eat dreams and that nightmares can give it a stomachache, meaning that it CAN eat nightmares, it just prefers not to. Although the time a hypno took a girl away was in FireRed and LeafGreen, this could be an alternate universe from FR and LG and instead link with the original Red and Green, in which that didn't happen. Much like how the gen 6 games take place on a different universe from the rest of the games. The Dream Eater book describes how the move deals damage to the target and heals the user. The final book talks about Forewarn and that it can tell what the strongest move that the enemy pokemon knows is. In the first meeting with the ghost girl talks about having a nightmare, and that her parents, along with abra are missing. In the second meeting, the ghost girl says "In the dark dream, I heard my dad's voice... forget about the lunar wing... come stay here with me..." but does not put the second half of the dialogue in quotes as she should have. In the final meeting, the ghost girl says "I can't take it now..." about the Lunar Wing, and asks that you return the wing to Cresselia, who she waits for at the bridge The old lady states that the girl used to play with her abra in the area BEFORE the bridge was built. The Lunar Wing was apparently obtained on the bridge upon which you can commonly find other "wing"-items all around, falling from the sky constantly. On that bridge, the girl often appears next to a man, before disappearing. Considering all these, this is my theory: There was once a young girl who loved to play with her Abra. However, she did not notice as a pokemon that was unusually strong for the area came around. Abra is a pokemon that "upon sensing danger, teleports away" according to the Pokedex. Sensing this danger, Abra disappeared, leaving the girl to be confused, going around searching for her friend. Hearing the voice, the powerful pokemon, a Hypno, was attracted to the girl's location. It was one that had been fighting the even stronger pokemon, Darkrai, before it had arrived in the area. Hoping that the girl would be useful as a hostage or as a weapon, the Hypno hypnotized the girl, and took her away to fight the Darkrai once more. Hypno knew that the Darkrai had a powerful Dark-type move thanks to its Forewarn ability. That is why he decided to take control of the girl, who was not a psychic-type pokemon, to use as a shield against Darkrai. The pokemon fought and fought, and eventually Hypno was defeated. The Darkrai left the area, but its sleep-enducing abilities combined with Hypno's had an unusual result that caused the girl, who had an extended exposure to it, to stay asleep indefinitely, suffering in a nightmare. The girl was rushed to safety by her parents, who found her. They began to research sleep-based pokemon and moves in order to find if they could awaken the girl, or at least prevent her from suffering her nightmares. The mother left the house or committed suicide, unable to bear with the grief upon realizing that her daughter may be stuck that way forever. Eventually, the father found out that there was a pokemon known as Drowzee that could not only eat dreams, but eat nightmares. The father ordered a Drowzee that he caught to eat the girl's nightmares, but the Drowsee misunderstood the order, and instead used the attacking move "Dream Eater". This move is different from Drowzee's inherent ability to consume dreams. By using Dream Eater, it would not get a stomach ache, and would heal itself even if it ate a nightmare instead of a normal dream. However, using Dream Eater hurts the target. Realizing that what he had done resulted in his daughter being hurt, the father sobbed as he promised his daughter that he would find a Lunar Wing for his little girl. What he didn't know was that since the girl's nightmares got eaten somewhat, she managed to escape for a very brief moment where she heard her father's promise. Hearing, this she wanted to tell him not to go for the Lunar Wing, and instead stay with her. Unfortunately, she was far too weary and was unable to say it loud enough for him to hear. Had the father stayed for just a minute longer, he would have been able to hold his daughter as she breathed her last. The father never came back home. He went to the bridge and began living in the hotel in the area, every day just going to the bridge and standing upon it, hoping to get a glimpse of Cresselia and obtain its Lunar Wing. This was the best place to find it, after all. He has yet to find out that his daughter had already died. One day, a Cresselia flew by the region. A lone Abra found a Lunar Wing that had fallen from the legendary Pokemon, and picked it up, happily teleporting around to try and find the girl. Yet, he could not find her. Saddened, the Abra left the Lunar Wing in the girl's bedroom and teleported away, starting to search the region in hopes of finding the young hypnotized girl, who for all it knows, may still be under the control of the Hypno. The Lunar Wing finally freed the girl from the nightmare that ensued even in death. The girl was freed, but when she came to consciousness, she did not know where she was. She went around the house and found a Lunar Wing, but as she was dead, she was unable to pick it up. Finding a letter from her father stating that he would be at the bridge, she left the house in order to find her father and ask him to return the Lunar Wing, since she no longer needed it, nor could she take it for herself. On the bridge, she found her father. She happily called out to him, yet he could not hear her. He was too busy looking for Cresselia, and the girl's ghostly powers were not as potent when so far from her corpse. She could not speak loud enough for anyone to hear her. Of course, she did not know this. She thought that the man was ignoring her. In denial, the girl refused to believe that her father would ignore her, and decided that the man was just a look-alike. Yet, being near someone who even looked like her father was rather comforting. It helped remind her what her father looked like. So, every now and then, she would return to stand by the man's side, taking comfort as she imagined her standing here with her real father one day when she would find him. Yet, she refused to believe that the man on the bridge was her actual father. So, bar the occasional visit, she would stay at home, looking around to search for more clues. Who knows? She already found a clue saying that her father was, at least at some point, on the bridge to get the Lunar Wing. She did not know where he may be now, but she wanted to find out. But... come to think of it, where was her Abra and her Mother? She had not seen either of them in so long! Since then, she shakes the furniture in her house and moves them around, trying to see if she could find any more hints as to where her family and Pokemon may be. At random times, her ghostly/psychic abilities reach a certain point where even normal people can see and hear her, but normally they cannot. So where is this girl's corpse, for it to be inside the house, but not in her bedroom? The answer is that she is hidden away somewhere, hooked on to life-supporting devices that no longer server her corpse any purpose. Somewhere, in a hidden, lonely room that the Player cannot access. Dead, and waiting for her family to come back one last time.
I think I like this one better :-) it includes every book and everything including me abre but I think it no might have affected the girl in order to use Dream Eater on her to heal itself after a fight with a Darkrai but didn't mean to kill her or maybe he put her in a comatose state and when she was in the coming to stay Darkrai innate ability forced her into I never ending nightmare while in the comatose state. I also think the Father knows that his dad but refuses to accept it and that's why he can't return home because if he were to return home he would have to face the fact that his daughter was dead and maybe the mother didn't commit suicide but left him after the misery of the loss of a child and how he would refuse to accept that she was dead. But either way the mom's out of the picture
+Karthus I vote that this is the true theory, or at least most parts of it. Tell me what you think: To me it seems a little far fetched about the Forwarn book being there because of the Hypno, why it abducted the girl. Because if the father was so busy rescuing her then why would the man research why Hypno had taken her? That is simply impossible. When a desperate man tries to save his daughter he does not go out to look for the cause or reason this happened but he goes out to find a cure.
Johnny Law Yes, but you're forgetting that the father needs to research on Hypno's capabilities, which shouldn't be well known in Unova. After all, Hypno cannot be found in Unova at all, except for one in the Dreamyard. What happened here was basically that you're living in America and your daughter got attacked by a Japanese Giant Hornet. For starters, it shouldn't be living in the area. Second, due to this, you are not familiar with this attacking creature, or what it is capable of. So you start researching all it can do. A large part of Pokemon is their ability, and many abilities can cause horrifying effects. Out of worry, the father could have checked for what Hypno's ability was. Forewarn is an uncommon ability, with only the Hypno line, Musharna line, and the Jynx line having this ability. Luckily, since Musharna and Munna are native to Unova, finding a book on Forewarn was easy. Luckily it is an ability that doesn't do much, but the father kept the book marked just in case it may lead to a hint to saving his daughter.
Karthus Hmm yes that could be the case indeed. It could also be that the Forwarn was Drowzee's and that it did something to Drowzee when it had to use dream eater. I'm simply pitching ideas here. You could very well be right. It still seems a little unorthodox to me, but I have merely instinct to back me up.
I think the ghost girl in gen 6 and the ghost girl in the strange house are in fact the same person because maybe when she says "you're not the one" maybe the one she is referencing is the b2w2 trainer and she is looking for them to thank them for making it so that her spirit can finally be at rest
A Hypno put this girl to sleep and kidnapped her, likely to allow 1 or more Drowzee feed on her dreams. A Darkrai turned her dream into a nightmare so that the Drowzee would get stomach aches and let her go. Either her Abra teleported her home or Darkrai brought her back.Hypno got revenge by going back to her home, entering the nightmare and telling her to forget the lunar wing and stay there with it.this means her parents successfully brought her the lunar wing before her death but the Hypno made her reject it. being asleep, she likely died of malnutrition
Darkrai The Accuser You turned my best friend against me and you tried to have Palkia kill us by having him go into our room in the middle of the night and scare the living hell out of us! There...there's my little rant...happy now?
A lot of theories about this I read are really complex, and I think people tend to overthink it. I mean it's pokemon, stories are never THAT complex. For me the girl saw a Darkrai and approched it, but it got afraid and put her to sleep. Her Abra tried to warn her parents and they understood that she was put to sleep by a pokemon. They then do research about it, and we just read the results of those researches. They read about drowzee and hypno, finally they get it's not it because she is having nightmares (drowzee don't like nightmares) and she is here (hypno kidnap children). So they continue their research, find about Darkrai, understand it's it, search a way to heal her, learn about Cresselia and the lunar wing, decide to go to Sinnoh to get it, in her nightmare the girl hear it and want to say to them "forget about the lunar wing, stay with me" (I don't get how people can think she hear this when it's obvious that it's what she thinks) but of course can't say it since she's asleep. Her parents come back but too late, she's dead, killed by her nightmare. Then the parents probably leave but they leave the lunar wing behind, and the girl can't find peace because she wants Cresselia to have its feather back. I don't know why they researched forewarn. But since it's hypno and drowsee 's ability and they researched them it's not impossible they came across this information.
I'm guessing the family tried to find alternate methods to wake their daughter up, using Musharna, Drowsee, and Hypno before finding information on the Lunar Wing. They each managed to delay her death but as the PokeDex states that Dream Eaters get sick from eating nightmares, so it doesn't help. Maybe 1 of their parents decided to go to the Sinnoh region in search of Cresselia/found out it visits the Marvelous Bridge, but by the time they got it it was too late. I wish this was the same girl we see in XYORAS.
I like the theory, my only difference in opinion is what "Forget about the Lunar Wing. Just stay here with me" means. I think that it's the girl talking to her parents. She already feels lonely and afraid in this endless nightmare that's killing her, and she just wants her family with her as she knows she's going to die
One thing you mentioned in the video that you should have expanded on was the bookshelf the had the explanation of Forewarn. Why was that there? What is its connection. All I have its one if yhe abilities of not just the Drowzee line but also the Munna line. Another Pokemon related to dreams.
Nikolaus Shell Yeah, I definitely could have gone more in depth with that, as well as the Drowzee/Hypno stuff. I didn't want to make the video too long, so I unfortunately cut it out :/ Some of the comments on here have some awesome theories on all of it though!
here's my theory that explains why the drowzze line of pokemon and the ability forewarn is used. the parents have a drowzzee or hypno or both that have the forewarn ability which let the parents know that there is a darkrai on the bridge. the child decides to ignore her parents orders and goes to the bridge to play where she encounters darkrai and the events that +Mr buddy mentioned in the video happens
+Nikolaus Shell I'm pretty sure the parents just bought a bunch of books about dreams out of desperation in order to research their daughter's condition, with the only relevant books being the ones about Darkrai and Cresselia, and perhaps the dream eater one.
what if she came across a hypno that put her to sleep and a darkrai gave her never ending nightmares so that it wouldn't eat her dream? darkrai then told her and her parents about the lunar wing so that they could save her but, hypno used it power to make her hear her dad tell her to give up and by doing so she died of fright in the never ending nightmares. maybe she still thinks she is alive but is still scared and trying to build her courage to get get the lunar wing to wake herself up or at least stop the nightmares.
I've been thinking about this theory for a couple days now, and even though someone has probably already said this, I'd like to contribute anyway, even if it's not the first time this is said. After watching the video, I was pretty satisfied with the theory, but something didn't quite add up. I started thinking and wondering why the top row of bookshelves were referenced and important, yet, with the same theme and idea, the others weren't. This led me to only one conclusion and expansion upon the theory: the Darkrai didn't initially put the girl under the nightmare for self-defense purposes or malicious intent at all, it did it to protect her. Because of the Hypno/Drowzee bookshelves and the dream eater/forewarn ones as well, I believe what actually happened is that one day the girl was out one day playing with her Abra when she came upon either a Hypno or Drowzee (more likely a Drowzee because of the whole "Eats dreams" part, it makes sense trust me). (Continued below due to length)
Now, the girl, loving Pokemon as she did, either initiates battle with or tries to interact with/befriend this Pokemon, which, in turn, uses hypnosis to put her to sleep as a self-defense mechanism. Now, as I said, it's more likely to be a Drowzee because of the eating dreams part for this reason: the Pokemon then is about to use dream eater on the girl and eat her dreams and sap her life energy when, lo and behold, Darkrai appears. Seeing this Pokemon's intent, the Darkrai then uses Nightmare on the girl so that her dreams cannot be eaten and thus saves her. This would make sense, knowing that Darkrai isn't a Pokemon known for preying on humans. Unfortunately, the girl is now stuck in the Nightmare state, and her Abra teleports them both back to the house. (Con't below)
As is said in the video, the parents freak out when they see their child like this, and go find the Lunar Wing and bring it to her, and also as stated she can hear them talking in her dream, as well as Abra making noises. The point where Darkrai says to stay with it is simply because the Pokemon was lonely and just wanted her to stay with it longer. The Lunar Wing doesn't work for some reason (I suspect because of her near-death and doubled sleep condition), and the parents give up hope and abandon her, and as stated her ghost waits on the bridge for Cresselia to return the Lunar Wing. The only thing that doesn't really add up, however, is the Forewarn bookshelf. Perhaps her Abra had it and used some form of mental communication to call for help? I'm not entirely sure on that part, but based on using all the bookshelves and assuming none were Red Herrings, that's my expansion on the theory.
+Rish Myster It's actually pretty weird, I don't normally think this much about theories, but this one was bother me so I thought and came up with this.
I like your theory better because it makes more sense. Normally you don't see Pokémon attacking because for harm. So a Drowzee wanting food makes more sense
I'm annoyed that game freak haven't made a new gen using cresselia and darkrai as legends. Gen 7, pokemon Daydream, pokemon Nightmare. The war between darkrai and cresselia. Cresselia isn't good in this either. She puts people in daydream like states and darkrai is nightmares. Team *insert name* wants to harness that power for WORLD DOMINATIONNN (as with all teams). The legendaries have primal evolution. Primal darkrai and primal cresselia... why does game freak not do this..
Well it wouldn't happen in a new generation because they're legendaries in another generation. No side legendary has ever become a mascot in a new game. And it won't happen in the Sinnoh remakes because they will definitely have Dialga and Palkia as mascots and to follow the remake tradition, they will remain the mascots for the remakes. So if this were to ever happen it would probably be in a side event and not have a game revolving around it.
Andrew Bledsoe-Graves It would be awesome, and such a great idea to milk some money too. So long as you make the games trippy, like nightmares and dreams. The dream thing in Gen 5 could come in for extra things... I dunno.
Cyclone00X Well yeah, I know it won't happen, and never will. but it would be nice if they did. In fact, they shouldnt have even included them in gen 4, and made gen 5 that.. or even gen 6 because now that theres new graphics and even a new plot, there are more possibilities.
Good job on the video, one thing that I think everyone has overlooked with the theories is actually the fact that Gamefreak went out of their way to say Darkrai means no harm, and they also went out of their way to say that Hypno is a threat, I believe that what the girl hears her "father" say in the nightmare is actually a Hypno and not Darkrai, it even sounds like something a Hypno would say, I mean have you heard Hypno's Lullaby? While obviously not cannon, Gamefreak actually put a kidnapping Hypno in FR and LG, anyway, I just don't want Darkrai to get any flak lol.
So Gamefreak just ignored Mystery Dungeon canon like that? Figures. They're trying all the time to make us forget about it ever since they stopped letting the series be made.
The one who killed the child is Hypno, not Darkrai. 1) Darkrai put people on nightmare but it means "no harm", as per pokedex. 2) The story said Hypno once hypnotize a child, and take it away. It is likely the girl is that child, or a similar victim, "take away" might imply "kill". 3) It said about "dream eater" move, which abort a health of a sleeping victim. It is likely what killed the girl. And using that move is said to be a behavior of Drowzee evolution line as per the book in the shelf. 4) The girl said "endless dark dream", meaning nothing in the dream, not a nightmare. It said Drowzee will upset its stomach if the victim has nightmare, so when Hypno hypnotizes victim into sleep, likely it will not let victim to have nightmare. So a more reasonable theory is: The girl was hypnotized and absorbed the health by a Hypno. The father then performed researched to cure the girl, and mistook that it was done by Darkrai, which had Lunar Wing as a cure as what he read in the first 2 books in shelf. He then told the sleeping girl, please wait me to come back with Lunar Wing. After he got the Lunar wing and came back, he found it is not working, so he collected more information (3rd, 4th and 5th books) and realize it was caused by a Hypno. He them threw the Lunar Wing away and told the girl "forget about the wing, stay here with me"... Unfortunately, the girl cannot recover before her health is depleted by "Dream Eater" move, and she became the ghost.
I partly agree with this and not. First even though darkrai means no harm, it has said that darkrai sometimes give people nightmares by accident due to its ability nightmare. Plus you said that the girl had dreams that were endless darkness, but in Pokémon the rise of darkrai, ash was hit by darkrai's dark void and the dream that he has is him and pikachu falling into a hole leading to pitch black. I believe that darkrai and hypno worked together killing the girl. And darkrai can use dream eater as well.
Lester Roquefort That's most likely the case. While Dark Void is a move Darkrai can use whenever it pleases, Bad Dreams is an ability that it can't turn off. Even worse is that from what the games show, humans that are affected by Darkrai's Bad Dreams NEVER wake up naturally. That's probably why it's usually found in isolated areas.
So I realize I'm commenting about this literally years later, but the reason forewarn is on the bookshelves isn't only because it's Hypno and Drowzee's ability. In Japan, the ability is called "Prophetic Dream." So if anyone sees this comment it's worth adding that to your theories lol
I would actually argue that the "Forget about the Lunar Wing, stay here with me" lines are the girl trying speaking to her father, because she knows she won't make it.
I dunno about that theory. It just feels incomplete to me, though on the right track. Darkrai and Cresselia are pretty obviously involved, but I think there's more going on there then just Darkrai putting the girl to sleep and her parents looking for a Lunar Wing to wake her up. I'm thinking that, like you said, Darkrai met the girl, and put her, and her Abra, to sleep, for whatever reason. Since legendary pokemon are legendary for a reason, her parents probably didn't know about the Lunar Wing, and looked for other ways to wake their daughter up. This is why there are books about Drowzee, Hypno, the move Dream Eater, and the ability Forewarn. The most interesting, and seemingly least useful, bit of data here is the book on Forewarn. It has nothing to do with sleeping, nor dreaming, and seems to be useless. So why is it there? Well, Drowzee and Hypno can both have this ability, and the ability can essentially be a form of precognition. What if the abilities description is merely the in-battle effect of that ability? What if the out of battle effect allows the pokemon to know, vaguely, what will happen in the future? Forewarning does essentially work like precognition after all. Well, having two pokemon with the ability, Drowzee and Hypno, on hand would certainly be useful to determine when, or if, their daughter is going to get worse, allowing them to use Drowzee and Hypno to eat her nightmares to keep her from getting worse at critical moments. Abra was also helped in this way, as, while the pokemon normally sleeps 18+ hours anyways, the Nightmare was blocking it from accessing it's psychic powers. Dream Eater can be a last resort move for them to use if the nightmare gets worse anyways. I say a last resort move, because, in the end, Dream Eater is a pokemon attack, and causes damage, and damaging their daughter is of course the last thing these parents want. It was not used on Abra because, as a psychic type, ghost moves do super effective damage, and in Abra's state, it may have likely killed the poor pokemon. But, this could all be done with just one of these two pokemon, so why bring in both? Simple. One of them, probably Drowzee, is likely in charge of eating her and her Abra's nightmares to keep her as healthy as possible. The other, probably Hypno, has another job. Trying to wake her up. As a pair of pokemon who are masters of sleep and dreams, surely they can figure out a way to end her nightmare and let her wake up. Of course, this was the first strategy the parents used to try and wake her. As their daughter, despite the Hypno and Drowzee's work, was steadily getting worse, they became more desperate, and bought more books on pokemon related to sleep and dreams. Specifically on the pokemon who did this too her, Darkrai. Well, learning about Darkrai had them learn about Cresselia, and it's Lunar Wing. This gave them new hope, and they began to look for this elusive rare item. An unexpected turn of events, while they were looking for a Lunar Wing, is that the Nightmares got steadily worse, and more powerful, even despite the Drowzee and Hypno trying to contain them. Eventually, the girls crying spirit called out for help, growing more powerful as the nightmares did. Being asleep, and incapable of waking up, this cry for help was not heard audibly. It was heard spiritually however, and ghost pokemon came to the Strange House. With her parents out looking for the Lunar Wing, the ghost pokemon arrived and only knew that a Drowzee and Hypno were with the girl. Thinking they were the reason for her cry for help, they killed the two pokemon, hoping to help her. Abra likely died first. Being around so many ghost pokemon, and being a psychic type, probably wasn't healthy, especially in it's weakened condition. The Abra's spirit probably only lingered until the girl herself died, moving on out of grief, or becoming a ghost pokemon out of grief, depending on your opinion. The fate of Abra is irrelevant here. The girl however, died. Her constant struggling against the nightmares, and her spirit calling out for help, allowed her spirit to become powerful enough to linger and manifest a visual form of her old self. The presence of ghosts likely helped her with this. Her parents finally found the Lunar Wing, and arrived back home only to see their home inhabited by ghost pokemon. Reaching their daughter's corpse, they found that she, the Drowzee and Hypno, as well as their daughters Abra, were all dead. They informed the authorities, and the corpses were all removed, with difficulty as the ghosts still tried to protect the girl, not understanding the concept of death. The Lunar Wing was likely left behind in disgust as they retrieved their daughters corpse, it's presence only reminding the parents that they had been too late. The Strange House was abandoned and left to the ghost pokemon as a habitat for them, since it was determined that the ghost pokemon did not in fact kill the Abra and the girl, and from there the authorities simply deduced the ghost killed Drowzee and Hypno, thinking they were helping her. The girls spirit eventually wanted to return the Lunar Wing to Cresselia, because she didn't want to blame Darkrai for what may, or may not have been, self defense on it's part. She may have also felt it was unfair to Cresselia that it's Lunar Wing was taken for no reason in the end. As a result, she wants to return it, to both show she has no hard feelings about what Darkrai did to her, and to give back what was taken from Cesselia. When Nate/Rosa/Whatever you named your protagonist arrived at the Strange House in Black 2 and White 2, and obtained the Lunar Wing, she asked them to do this in her stead, as, in Black and White it was revealed she couldn't maintain her ghostly form for very long so far away from the Strange House, vanishing as soon as Hilbert/Hilda/Whatever got near them, disrupting what little control over her form that she had so far away from the site of her death. She eventually senses that the B2W2 protagonist did as she asked, and moved on. The lingering power of her powerful spirit, and the presence of ghost pokemon amplifying it, is likely what causes all the strange furniture shaking in the Strange House. Maybe I put too much thought into this, but I like to think that the Pokemon Games, while having simple plots and stories as their main story, like to hint that much more complex and interesting stories are happening all around the player as you travel through the region. You just never see them unfold. So, when I saw this video, I wanted to expand on what might have happened.
My theory is that Darkrai tried to SAVE the girl, but fucked up majorly. Hypno was kind of a non presence in this video. What I think happened is that Hypno kidnapped the girl & planned to eat her dreams (which has been established as damaging to the victim) & a Darkrai that was around put the girl into a nightmare. If she was in a nightmare, Hypno wouldn't want to feed on her, so he saved her from the Hypno, but he also didn't have the ability to wake her up. He saved her from hypno, but not from him. The girl's parents tried to get a Drowzee to eat the nightmare, but it wouldn't because nightmares make it sick. So they studied & learned about Cresselia & decided to seek her out, but the girl didn't want that. Her time was coming & all she wanted was for her parents to be there. When she said "Forget about the Lunar Wing. Stay with me instead", that phrase wasn't in quotation marks like everything else, which suggests that SHE said/thought that. Her dad told her they were leaving to find a Lunar Wing, but she didn't care about the wing, or even waking up. She just wanted them to stay by her side until her inevitable death. Her parents came back with the Lunar Wing, but were too late. They left the house because of the horrible memories it now holds, & the Lunar Wing was left behind in the house, along with the girl's spirit. She wanted to thank Cresselia for trying anyway, even though it didn't work, but because she was a ghost, she couldn't interact with anything. She couldn't return the Lunar Wing to Cresselia, but she keeps coming to the bridge, hoping to one day find Cresselia & thank her for trying.
I wonder... What happened to us , the player in Pokemon white / black ? I mean , if Cheren became a gym leader and Bianca became Prof. Junipers assistant , what happened to us , the player who became Pokemon champ ? Correct me if i'm wrong , but I don't remember anyone from black and white 2 referring to us , so did we die , did we vanish? Surely Cheren and Bianca would have mentioned us! (Ignore last two sentences if I am wrong and they did mention us)
PkTara I believe that there's only a couple of mentions of them in Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, and most of their mentions revolve around the Memory Link, which allows the player to link B/W and B2/W2 together for more story. The last we've heard about the player characters, is that they were searching for N in the faraway region he went to after Pokemon Black and White.
PkTara Well, the "you" from the first black and white apparently hasn't been seen around. His mom actually thinks that the "you" from black and white 2 is him/her. I think that you need to do like a memory link
Actually, I think they did confirm the dress to be blue and black because they found it on some shopping website... I still think it would look better as white and gold though ;3
Here we go! Time for a brand new Pokemon Theory, this time about the mysterious "Strange House" in B2W2! I think the truly remarkable thing about this video, is that the "Shrugging Dr." has finally made his return after being absent for so long!
That theory seems pretty solid...except for the Darkrai encounter being on the bridge bit. If it happened on the bridge, I feel a lot more people would've been affected, and somebody would've mentioned it when talking to them. Not to mention that her parents wouldn't have had to leave the house out of fear of the Darkrai coming for them if the incident happened on the bridge. Her appearance on the bridge most likely has to do with her attempts to return the Lunar Wing and little else. If anything, I'd wager that the Darkrai encounter happened in her own home. It makes sense that way: as an isolated incident people wouldn't have likely known about it, it gives cause to the parents leaving the house, and also provides a moment when she would actually be vulnerable to inducing nightmares. Heck, to add more to the theory, it could be likely that the girl had spotted the Darkrai wandering outside her house and offered it shelter, befriending it in secret and allowing it to stay in her room so as to hide its presence from her parents. Kind of like the sort of thing a kid would typically do when bringing a stray puppy home. Unfortunately, Darkrai's ability to induce nightmares happened to affect her when she went to sleep with the thing in her room and she became stuck in an endless nightmare of unrelenting darkness. As for its words about forgetting the Lunar Wing and staying with it...perhaps it was malevolent, or maybe it just wanted to be with her but couldn't do that with the Lunar Wing present. Either way, the end result is obvious.
David Potts That is one possibility, but it lacks any sort of provocation; _why_ would it attack her? Unless by "attack", you're referring to the nightmare thing. However, that's more of an in-battle ability Darkrai has, making it possible that it might not have complete control over said ability. As in, it just gives nightmares to anything that happens to go to sleep near it regardless of whether it wants to or not.
It does have control over the ability in a way. In Rise of Darkrai it specifically tailored a dream to warn of Palkia so it is likely to have control of it. And by attack I did mean that it put her in a nightmare. As for a reason I don't know. Nobody does until the Pokemon franchise gives us one.
David Potts That was that Darkrai. This is a different one entirely. Its capability of controlling its nightmare ability could be far, far less than the one shown to us in the movie for all you know.
Max Dunham I think that after a Hypno kidnapped the girl and took her to it's cave that is when Darkrai gave the girl nightmares. Her parent's got to the cave after following the hypno and saw their daughter and took her back home. They first tried using Drowzee to eat her dreams in hopes of waking her up but after that was to no avail they decided to get a crescent wing.the rest was explained from there.
What if Cresselia is secretly evil? Coz it was mentioned that darkrai causes bad dreams in self defence while in Diamond its seen that Cresselia goes out of its way to travel the region and appear to others etc Hmm idk Cresselia just gives off creepy vibes, must be its eyes lol
I love side quests like these in Pokémon because it really makes you think of many plausible theories into what actually happened that led to these side quests. Just like with the old chateau in Pokémon diamond pearl and platinum, the lavender town ghost girl and the white hand on your shoulder, and the ghost girl in Kalos that says “no you’re not the one”. They are creepy but it really makes you think about what went on.
He said that Darkrai, by PokeDex entry, only puts people into nightmares as a self-defense mechanism. Darkrai isn't really a dick that goes around terrorizing young girls by using Dark Void. No, that's for competitive players.
Champsr0ck2247 If you saw in the anime, darkrai put ash and his friends in nightmare while they were sleeping even though they did not do anything for it.
I agree with all of this, except for the idea that Darkrai was trying to keep her in the nightmare. Darkrai doesn't control the nightmares, he simply casts them. Also, it would make more sense for the line "Forget about the Lunar Wing, stay here with me." to be the girl speaking to her father, and it has been stated multiple times that Darkrai actually tries not to harm humans.
I feel that before the bridge was made, it was a cliff. Abra teleports when it realises it goes off the cliff. Girl chases abra, but falls. Darkrai senses this death, as it is commonly seen as a Pokemon to do with death and nightmares. Darkrai tries to help her, since she is similar to darkrai's human friend. In a nightmare, the girl sees that the parents found the lunar wing. It doesn't work. A new poke prevents this. Parents realise daughter is dead. Parents faint of shock, mysteriously disappear, cuz darkrai's wants no one to know... This girl later reacts to the lunar wing, but is brought to life in the form of death. Cresselia never came to take the wing. When you touch the girl, darkrai's side takes control by taking her off. Darkrai makes this girl see what he wants her to see, like a message. Abra appears.........or what if darkrai's came and killed the parents cuz darkrai's wants are the ghost girl only..........?
@@jamalbruna4121 because of some pokémon you can't hate a generation which is my favourite, only bad mons it has is an icecream and pile of garbage seriously that's it!!!!!!!!
@@jamalbruna4121 yeah rip off of magneton and gardevoir line but other unova pokémon are amazing like krookodile, Chandelure, Zekrom, Eelektross(a pokémon with no weakness), Kyurem black, haxorus hydreigon and many more.....
Yeah. Sorry if I might’ve attacked your favorite gen. I like it too. The story is one of the best and some Pokémon in it are pretty cool and useful. I just don’t like some of them and the anime. Just my opinion.
Okay here's my theory: Firstly, I imagine that, if my theory is correct, it must happen many years before Black and White. To support this I point to the only person who knew the girl played at the bridge is an old woman, she seems to be reminiscing so that speaks to how this event probably happened when she herself was a young woman. Also, we know the story of Hypno stealing a child goes back to at least the time of Pokemon Firered (where it was mentioned in Hypno's pokedex entry), a game which chronologically takes place 12 years before the events of Black and White. Taking into account the time it would take to find the girl and discover she was kidnapped by Hypno, and then have this story be broadcast on the news (where it would no doubt be broadcast all over the world because of the seriousness of the incident) I would say at the earliest the kidnapping could have taken place is 13-14 years before the events of Black and White, but maybe even longer as it seems the story has passed into folklore. One day the girl was playing with her Abra near Marvelous Bridge when she was approached by a Hypno. This Hypno used its pendulum on her and put her into a sleeping trance kidnapping her. While bringing her back to its base, Hypno and the girl were spotted by a Darkrai. Being the master of dreams that he is Darkrai had a advanced knowledge of the move Dream Eater and having a good idea of what Hypno was going to do, Darkrai intervened. However, fearing its own power (as many games and pokedex entries says it does) it refused to fight the Hypno and instead (as said before knowing the inner workings of Dream Eater) inflicted the girl with its nightmares to protect her while at the same time putting a suggestion into her nightmares to not seek out Creselia and the Lunar Wing (in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum the Player and the father know where to go to save the boy as he murmurs about Creselia and the Lunar Wing in his sleep as being the only things that can save him. I assume the story of Creselia and the Lunar Wing would be a fairy tale told to children to keep them from fearing nightmares and thus would be something most children in the Pokemon world would dream about or think about in a nightmare) as doing so would end the nightmare and the girl would no longer be protected from Dream Eater. Hypno then brought the girl back to its cave where it and its Drowzee friends began using Dream Eater on her in order to feed. However, because the girl was having Darkrai's nightmare, the dreams that Hypno and the Drowzee were eating hurt them instead of healing them. Seeing no use in the girl and afraid there home would be found by the Humans, Hypno took the girl back to Marvelous Bridge where it was found with the girl by search parties (thus how people know she was kidnapped by Hypno). Taken back to her home, the girl did not wake up as she was still in the nightmare. Her father and mother sat by her bed night and day hoping she would wake up and one day they heard her mumbling about not wanting the Lunar Wing. Remembering the stories he told her as a child the father traveled to the Sinnoh Region (the house is big and has its own library so I imagine the family was pretty rich. Also, he would have traveled to Sinnoh as only the girl who frequented the bridge would have any knowledge that Creselia came there. The father was simply following the fairy tale which claimed it came from the Sinnoh region) where he eventually encountered Creselia and obtained the Lunar Wing. However, his journey took to long and by the time he and returned from Sinnoh his daughter, never having had her mind healed from the effects of Dream Eater, as it was used on her, passed in her sleep and the father kept the Lunar Wing in her room as a momento. Eventually the father and mother could no longer stand to live in the house where their daughter had died and moved; however, refusing to give up on the memory of their daughter, they refused to sell or demolish the house leading to its run-down state.
then how do drozee and hipno fit into this theory? i know it mentioned the hipno and and a taken child. it also metions drozee and eating dreams and nightmares
Salvatrice Dean I unfortunately had to cut down the theory a little bit (I originally wanted it under 10 minutes), so I cut out most of the parts that involved Drowzee/Hypno. Other people in the comments have some awesome theories that are better than what I would have come up with, so if you can, I'd recommend looking at what other people have said involving the Drowzee/Hypno.
I would assume since they know that bad dreams upset drowzee and hypno's stomachs and given both can learn dream eater and are more easy to obtain that Cressela, the parents first tried using Drowzee and Hypno to wake her up. The little boy the Hypno hypnotized and took away might be a reference to the powerful hypno the parents tried to have remove the nightmare curse, stating the level of power
Maybe her parents are trying to find alternatives aside lunar wing. Maybe they want a Hypno/Drowzee to learn Dream Eater and make the pokemon eat the little girl's nightmare.
I think that Darkrai putted the girl to sleep and their parents were searching a way to wake her up. Because Cresselia was only seen in one place in the entire Unova, they knew that it would be too late when they could find the feather, so while they searched for it they looked for other ways to wake her up. That's the reason because there are books about dream eater and drownzee; because they thought that if he eated his dream she would wake up. But drownzee killed the girl.
I'm so glad that I played through the area in both games during the day. That should sum up how strong the video is in terms of upping the scariness to me.
Do you remember the ghost girl from pokemon x, y and Oras? Well I think this is the same ghost girl... Maybe the girl is looking for the boy who promised to return the wing to cresselia and didn't done it...yet... Maybe because of that she's always saying:"no you're not the one..." Or something like that... She's noticing that you're not the same boy who have the wing and because of that she's saying that... Maybe in the next pokemon game we'll understand everything and if not we have to wait for the black and white remake... Until then... This two Theronys are unsolved mysteries...
I kind of thought up my own theory, how about when the girl was plagued by Darkrai's nightmare, her parents went to Marvelous bridge with her Abra to get a Lunar wing for her but died in an accident on their way back home & only Abra survived but is severly injured so using its final strength and powers, it teleported the Lunar Wing to the girl and died. During that time, the girl somehow in the nightmare, heard her dad's voice telling her that he, the mom and Abra are going to get a lunar wing to help her. After the girl woke up from the nightmare, she found out that her parents and Abra died from trying to get a Lunar wing for her and she's like 'I don't need a Lunar wing, I just want mom, dad and Abra to stay beside me' and try to return the wing to Cresselia but Cresselia never appears and as the days have gone by, the girl finally couldn't take it anymore and suicides. My theory might leave some unanswered questions about Hypno and Drowzee and may have some plot holes/don't make sense but at least it may explain the dialogues a bit.
My theory is that the darkrai did not mean to harm the girl (as stated in the pokedex entry, "it means no harm") and instead, it put the girl in a nightmare to protect her from being harmed by the hypno. With the house being so close to the bridge area where creselia is normally located, and Darkrai being the polar opposite, i believe that the darkrai was trying to get cresilia to help the girl, but the hypno knew the move dream eater and it was able to eat the nightmare anyway, any by doing so, killed the girl. More likely for the lunar wing being in the room, was that when the girl was found, cresilia had attempted to help the girl but was unsuccessful and had left the lunar wing there to try and show that darkrai didn't mean to hurt her, by calling cresilia in to "save the day". With darkrai being a dark pokemon, people would not believe that it was by nature a good pokemon with an "evil" typing. So after finding the lunar wing, the parents put it in her room as a sign of remembrance that a legendary pokemon tried to save their daughter, and they assumed that she was put in this state by darkrai.
Option 3: They brought the Luna Wing to her, and while it might have worked if it was actually Darkrai that did it to her; she doesn't wake up. Which explains the research later in the sequence is on Drowzee/Hypno. It's also worth noting that the girl's Abra itself could have been the culprite.
Ey Mr Buddy, it's nice that discussed this topic as i havent anyone who's discussed this. However Joey and I are curious if you could do a theory on the Ghost Girl in X/Y. But if darkrai did all the stuff it did, what did the Drowzee or Hypno do?
Every Pokemon game starting at 4th gen always has a random ghost in it that can't be explained. 4th Gen had the butler, 5th Gen had this, and 6th gen had that girl at the Pokemon Company studio that said "You're not the one" and disappears.
So what if Darkrai was trying to protect the little girl from a Drowzee who was eating her dreams.? The Drowzee could have become obsessed with the girl, eventually evolving into a Hypno who hs the forewarn ability. No longer interested in her dreams It makes sense that it wasn't her dad, but that same Hypno who told her to "Forget about the lunar wing...Please stay here with me..."! that is after all what Hypno would want. Whats not clear to me is why the little girl wants the wing returned to Cresselia. I feel like there has to be more to it. what do you think?
Tresman101 there won't be a delta emerald. Because it has been stated that they put the delta episode in so they wouldn't have to make another game just for raquaza.
gen 5 remake should add darkria in the strange house side quest. the strange house is being block by someone and can only be access when the player beats the pokemon league once. gaining access to the house solving a more complex version of the house`s puzzle uncovering more details and eventually encountering darkrai after picking up the lunar wing.
I thought the father saying stay was towards the mother, who probably became obsessed with trying to find the illusive legendary Cresselia. This would've been around the time The daughter was very weak and nearing her end, wanted the mother to stay with him and mourn. The unconscious girl would've subconsciously listened in on the father's plea.
Girls are associated with innocence espessially young girls wich makes it all the more creepy for example the clothing style guro Lolita is very creepy for that reason
Dex Holder Green Wait? What? Who died in X and Y? Az? I don't recall him dying after reuniting with his Floette but I didn't read the last part of the dialogue I could be mistaken.
It seems like the girls endless nightmare. Could have occurred anywhere in the lifetime of the people who were on the bridge. The strange house did exist during the events of Black and White 2. We just couldn't go there. I really like the theory in this video.
but, that theory doesn't touch upon the drowsy/hypno/dream eater books from in the house. what if she was the child captured by hypno who took her to the drowsy so they could eat her dreams. noticing this, darkrai gave her nightmares, so that the drowsy wouldn't eat her dreams as nightmares make them sick. however, being in perpetual nightmares wasn't much better. then family/abra go to get wing, etc....
I actually thought the "forget about the wing, stay with me" dialouge was the girl talking (in her thoughts) to her father, who wants to leave her to find the cure, but she wants him to stay.
I think that the theory the game theorist had is probably more likely, though, I could see some parts of your theory being in the full story here and there.
Can you imagine what black and white remakes are going to be like. Ruby and Sapphire got their remakes, added new stuff like primal devolution and had some Emerald stuff thrown in. But with Black and White their 3rd game was a sequel, not a normal bridge game. So either there is going to be two games for a Black and White remake or their going to pule something.
I have a slight alteration to the theory you present, i think the family had a Abra and a Hypno, the Hypno put the child to sleep and the library exists because of the Father or mother trying to save their child, but the child was haunted by Darkrai and died because of it, they tried to save the girl but she was too far in slumber :(
I think that after Darkrai put her to sleep, the parents brought a drowsee first to eat her nightmares, but it didn’t since it hates nightmares. Afterwards, the parents left to find a wing but before they came back, a hypno had taken her. This would explain the references to the two Pokémon.
I remember quite a long time ago, in the animated series a young girl with an abra helped out ash and his friends by teleporting them to a bridge, however i'm not sure what series it is from as it might not be from black and white, but may be related.
oh,that is something me and my friend discussed a long time ago.maybe we'll see more of that story not in a B3/W3,but in a game whose events happen at the same time of B/W,maybe with the girl's parents,or maybe even travelling to Unova,,thou i doubt option 2
To combine the part with Hypnos, the description did mention it takes children away and they only eat good dreams, and of course the lovely girl would be the target(big house - rich and a pokemon - even happier), while the presence of Abra may also an attraction as they are of the same type. And somehow Darkrai was there to cast the eternal nightmare, why? 1. Darkari is a lonely pokemon, the description of the girl and Abra might attract Darkrai to be a 'stalker' in the shadow, and a protector. 2. So it would probably feel offended by Hypnos' attempt to dream eat the girl, so it casts nightmare on the girl, as Drowzee doesn't eat bad dreams. If the ability forewarn is considered, the Hypno branch may be able to avoid Darkrai's pursuit(no puns), or this can simply be an educational device for the new ability...pretty useful, but since gen5 brought team display.............. Thus, making Darkrai either forget about the girl in its pursuit of Hypno/feel unsafe to leave her without the nightmare or just cannot take away his ability's affect on human, but Cresselia, which it would never attempt to encounter in peace. By the end, it just highlight how this pokemon is unfit to have any exposure with its strong ability in casting nightmare(sad). This is a sinister portrayal of Hypno, but its the only possible beneficial party in hypnotising the girl. Since Abra doesn't appear on Unova's map until W2's white forest(battle tree thingy), it may also suggest the girl's partner pokemon is a Darkrai that hypnotised all people around them in taking it as a Abra hahahah... There would be an incentive to be like Cresselia and be loved isn't it?
Personally I always thought it was Darkrai who put the girl into an endless nightmare. The parents upon researching all about Pokemon that could possible do this, finally discovering it must be Darkrai and they need the lunar wing. The father after all this time searching and finally learning the ridiculous task of obtaining the lunar wing from a legendary pokemon believes it hopeless. He asks the mother to forget about the lunar wing and stay with him but she refuses and goes out and does the impossible obtains the lunar wing. And just when it seems all is going to be made right she returns home. However, when she returns she finds all is not well. The father who stayed behind to avoid the perilous and likely fruitless journey had decided enough was enough and that he needed to move on with his life. He moved away while the mother was gone leaving her to return to the her daughter's body as no one was there to care for her in her comatose state.
WARNING: THIS MAKES THE THEORY EVEN SADDER
I don't think you interpreted a part of her dialogue right... The ghost says:
"In the dark dream... I heard my dad's voice...
Forget about the Lunar Wing... Stay with me..."
But there are no quotations around "Forget about the Lunar Wing...
Stay with me..."
The little girl is telling her parents to forget about the Lunar Wing.
Half Prince Seems more accurate but yeah... more depressing
Very sad
Half Prince a
Half Prince
So a Pokémon KILLS THEIR CHILD, accidental or not, and leaving from fear makes them close-minded? No.
God damnit this comment almost made me cry because of how sad it is, and i have never played any of the Black and White games i do intend on it though.
The theory is decent, but it totally ignores the books about the Drowsee and Hypno, along with the books on Dream Eater and Forewarn. Here's what I think:
First of all, the Cresselia and the lunar wing is obvious.
In the final meeting, the ghost girl says "I can't take it now..." about the Lunar Wing, and asks that you return the wing to Cresselia, who she waits for at the bridge
The old lady states that the girl used to play with her abra in the area BEFORE the bridge was built.
The Lunar Wing was apparently obtained on the bridge upon which you can commonly find other "wing"-items all around, falling from the sky constantly. On that bridge, the girl often appears next to a man, before disappearing.
Considering all these, this is my theory:
There was once a young girl who loved to play with her Abra.
Damn what a well thought out theory. Props to you!
Tell me what you think:
To me it seems a little far fetched about the Forwarn book being there because of the Hypno, why it abducted the girl.
I was thinking they were the same ghost as well, maybe this will grow more in-depth the more games come out.
if her sprit is looking for them it's not at rest it's still there
Maybe and since they're a pixel sprite it could be
Kyogre's Hideout mabye
bw2 and xy occur simultaneously. plus, she'd have no reason to assume the bw2 trainer went to kalos.
Ask me to return the Lunar Wing, but instead use it as a bait to catch Cresselia
Darkrai means no harm, except for the one in Mystery Dungeon. Wait...maybe...it's the same one!
Uh...no I'm not.
Darkrai The Accuser
You turned my best friend against me and you tried to have Palkia kill us by having him go into our room in the middle of the night and scare the living hell out of us! There...there's my little rant...happy now?

I believe so, yes.
***** DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
What if this is the child and incident from Hypno's pokedex entry?
Wanna know what really happened in the strange house?
Strange shit

Eduardo dudu Glad someone approves of it, thought it through for a good 3 days
SafiiBox That would be epic. I could imagine darkrai's primal evolution, but not Cresselia's...
Team Galactic? They wanted TOTAL ANNIHILATION OF EVERYTHING.
So a more reasonable theory is:
The girl was hypnotized and absorbed the health by a Hypno.
+Hieu Bui I like this theory more. It makes more sense.
lol, did you not play fire red. Hypno took a little girl in that game, you then had to search for her and optionally capture the lvl 30 hypno.
This could make sense considering you can't find Darkrai in Unova
I think in one game, it says Darkrai does this by accident.
Cee Cee & why Cresselia exists: to keep order. When Darkrai traps someone in a nightmare, it's her task to wake them up.
A Pokemon that can kill you from sleeping. Pokemon is the digital form of Australia.
Am I the only person who noticed the Darkrai shadow follow the parents at 7:52? I can't find any comments that anyone else saw it…
Woah o.o you have good eyes
Chase Reynolds i saw it but didn't really think anything about it
,I did as well
I saw it!
I saw it after you pointed it out xD
So I realize I'm commenting about this literally years later, but the reason forewarn is on the bookshelves isn't only because it's Hypno and Drowzee's ability. In Japan, the ability is called "Prophetic Dream." So if anyone sees this comment it's worth adding that to your theories lol
Yikes. The parents probably wanted their help to save their daughter.
This is probably my favourite theory from you Mr Buddy. Keep up the great work
"Darkrai's endless nightmare would have taken her life." How is that possible though? I don't see any blades on Darkrai's hands.
Probably cardiac arrest from the stress of the nightmares.
You have no idea about fatal nightmares
PkTara I think the player from the first black/white game went to a different region
PkTara Well, the "you" from the first black and white apparently hasn't been seen around. His mom actually thinks that the "you" from black and white 2 is him/her. I think that you need to do like a memory link
Now I can't wait till I finish Pokemon white (again)
If you play volt white and blaze black, 'we' are actually located at the nature preserve.
3:56 is she wearing #thedress
Thomas Shephard it was blue and black when she was alive, but change colors when she died ;o) I think she's wearing the dress.
#WeFoundTheDress
***** LOL Nah It's BLUE AND BLACK!!!!.
#WHITEANDGOLD
Actually, I think they did confirm the dress to be blue and black because they found it on some shopping website... I still think it would look better as white and gold though ;3
Here we go! Time for a brand new Pokemon Theory, this time about the mysterious "Strange House" in B2W2! I think the truly remarkable thing about this video, is that the "Shrugging Dr." has finally made his return after being absent for so long!
I love your theories :D
Mahdi Hussain thanks! I'm glad you like them :o)
THANK YOU MR BUDDY remember I'm the one who asked you for this! Thank you so so much for making this
Mr Buddy can u do a theory on the ghost girl in pokemon xy and OMAS. Their have been some theories, but i would like to hear ur input on this.
Yea sorry, it was my auto correct
You are forgetting a crucial piece of Darkrai's abilities. He can hide as a shadow. He could have been hidden when he attacked the girl.
Coz it was mentioned that darkrai causes bad dreams in self defence while in Diamond its seen that Cresselia goes out of its way to travel the region and appear to others etc
Hmm idk
Cresselia just gives off creepy vibes, must be its eyes lol
Wanna know what actually happened in the strange house?
Stranger things...
Darkrai is in that house. My friend caught it.
They are creepy but it really makes you think about what went on.
...He never mentioned why Darkrai would purposely give me girl endless nightmares... But great theory nonetheless.
He said that Darkrai, by PokeDex entry, only puts people into nightmares as a self-defense mechanism. Darkrai isn't really a dick that goes around terrorizing young girls by using Dark Void.
No, that's for competitive players.
Champsr0ck2247 but why would he disguise himself as her dad to keep her in the nightmare?
Champsr0ck2247
If you saw in the anime, darkrai put ash and his friends in nightmare while they were sleeping even though they did not do anything for it.
Did u know u were able to catch a darkrai as well cause it’s a secret legendary in the strange house story
Cresselia: "br- ...did you just kill a child???"
Darkrai: "UH-"
we'll be right back
Darkrai:Look it was An Acident im Sorry
Mr.Buddy, you do very unique theories and give good evidence for them. Keep up the good work!😃
Great theory like seeing different theories
WHY IS GEN 5 Has the best story ever
I’m more curious why it had the least liked Pokémon of all the gens.
@@jamalbruna4121 because of some pokémon you can't hate a generation which is my favourite, only bad mons it has is an icecream and pile of garbage seriously that's it!!!!!!!!
And some gears.... and a psychic goth..... and another fire monkey.... and another fire fighting starter....
Don’t forget to get the Dusk Stone!
Great Video! I love all your content!
PokemonTM87 Thanks! Your kind words mean a lot ^_^
Mr Buddy what if her mother and father are from shinno
Okay here's my theory:
Firstly, I imagine that, if my theory is correct, it must happen many years before Black and White.
Let's call Doctor Strange
I love how they expanded on this in Blaze Black 2 and Volt White 2. They even let you catch the Darkrai and that (hopefully?) frees her soul.
I love your theroy videos! I love the topics too! There very interesting
If you can meet cresselia on marvelous bridge where do you find darkreai?
maybe the Darkrai was lonely and wanted the girl to be its friend
Do you remember the ghost girl from pokemon x, y and Oras?
Well I think this is the same ghost girl... Maybe the girl is looking for the boy who promised to return the wing to cresselia and didn't done it...yet... Maybe because of that she's always saying:"no you're not the one..." Or something like that... She's noticing that you're not the same boy who have the wing and because of that she's saying that...
Maybe in the next pokemon game we'll understand everything and if not we have to wait for the black and white remake... Until then... This two Theronys are unsolved mysteries...
I love the spooky stuff in Pokémon
This has always been my favorite easter egg and event out of all games I have ever played
You could say one of the other 2 Pokemon mentioned was the cause of her death, heck she might had even been the kid Hypo took away.
+cody2819 I think Hypno likes little boys not girls.
Tyler White
Tell that to the little girl you rescue from him in Fire Red/Leaf Green.
I think Hypno is a protector of children. I like to live in a world without pedophiles. Kids are safe. We can't today, but one day we can.
cody2819 It's probably just random, but whenever I played fire red/leaf green the Hypno seemed to always be female.
Tyler White
That's---odd. Suppose then you could say it was a protective mother type of thing.
Congrats on 14k!
What Alex thanks dude!
you have to wonder, did Darkrai put that girl in an endless nightmare because it was lonely?
Get Luigi and break the nightmare chunks!!
Lol
Option 3: They brought the Luna Wing to her, and while it might have worked if it was actually Darkrai that did it to her; she doesn't wake up.
Which explains the research later in the sequence is on Drowzee/Hypno. It's also worth noting that the girl's Abra itself could have been the culprite.
Ey Mr Buddy, it's nice that discussed this topic as i havent anyone who's discussed this. However Joey and I are curious if you could do a theory on the Ghost Girl in X/Y. But if darkrai did all the stuff it did, what did the Drowzee or Hypno do?
Great Darkrai shadow effect and nice theory!
I feel like there has to be more to it. what do you think?
or, the ghost girl is actually Sabrina ...
And she was trolling us the whole time
Nah, they should come out with Pokemon Black 2.5 and Pokemon White 2.5 to spite us all...
Hehe, forget Pokemon Z or Delta Emerald. Black and White 2.5 is coming in 2016. Or better yet, just Black 2.5 to be extra spiteful.
"And that's all the information we know of the Strange House. It's pretty strange right?" xD
She probably got quickscoped by a very spooky skeletman, spending the rest of eternity eternally spookt.
Shut up chicken-chan.
Why are all the ghosts girls do men not die? Sure there is the butler but why are they all girls?
Girls are associated with innocence espessially young girls wich makes it all the more creepy for example the clothing style guro Lolita is very creepy for that reason
Well a guy in XY died but he had no ghost
Dex Holder Green he didnt become a ghost because his life was complete and happy in the end so he had no reason to become one
Tara Abitago ik
Dex Holder Green Wait? What? Who died in X and Y? Az? I don't recall him dying after reuniting with his Floette but I didn't read the last part of the dialogue I could be mistaken.
Great theory, but what are Darkrai's motives? Food? Worthy of consideration...
Hang on look at this The evolution of Cresselia battle 2007-2017 it can connect to the theory.
This is one of the things they could turn into a good manga.
It seems like the girls endless nightmare. Could have occurred anywhere in the lifetime of the people who were on the bridge. The strange house did exist during the events of Black and White 2. We just couldn't go there. I really like the theory in this video.
I hope someone makes a pokemon game where you go around dealing with these creepy pastas, like Supernatural.
but, that theory doesn't touch upon the drowsy/hypno/dream eater books from in the house.
what if she was the child captured by hypno who took her to the drowsy so they could eat her dreams. noticing this, darkrai gave her nightmares, so that the drowsy wouldn't eat her dreams as nightmares make them sick. however, being in perpetual nightmares wasn't much better. then family/abra go to get wing, etc....
Do a theory about red meeting his programmer and writer and designer's in Celadon City.
I think she attacked the darkrai out of fear! Dark is super effective against psychic so they lost their lives.
I actually thought the "forget about the wing, stay with me" dialouge was the girl talking (in her thoughts) to her father, who wants to leave her to find the cure, but she wants him to stay.
The girl could be the one the Hypno kidnapped that we have heard about since forever
Given the dilapidated state of the house. I think it's safe to assume the girl died years or even decades prior to the events of Black & White.
2:51 i admit that echo scared the hell of me
I think that the theory the game theorist had is probably more likely, though, I could see some parts of your theory being in the full story here and there.
I reckon that the Hypno took her away but whilst she was asleep, Darkrai found her and put her into a series of perpetual nightmares...
The mystery dungeon music :') Ahh the memories
Can you imagine what black and white remakes are going to be like. Ruby and Sapphire got their remakes, added new stuff like primal devolution and had some Emerald stuff thrown in. But with Black and White their 3rd game was a sequel, not a normal bridge game. So either there is going to be two games for a Black and White remake or their going to pule something.
ploopy1000 the Iron golem No, there sequels
They aren't going to remake black and white
Hilda Streety Why wouldn't they
Nic Doar BECAUSE IT HAD LIKE THE WORST REVIEWS AND SALES EVER
Hilda Streety Want did?
I have a slight alteration to the theory you present, i think the family had a Abra and a Hypno, the Hypno put the child to sleep and the library exists because of the Father or mother trying to save their child, but the child was haunted by Darkrai and died because of it, they tried to save the girl but she was too far in slumber :(
Nice Pokemon theory
Black 3 and white 3 lol the covers got me messed up lol
I think that after Darkrai put her to sleep, the parents brought a drowsee first to eat her nightmares, but it didn’t since it hates nightmares. Afterwards, the parents left to find a wing but before they came back, a hypno had taken her. This would explain the references to the two Pokémon.
Wait wait wait, is that Dark Hill from PMD Explorers in the background when you're reading the journal entries?
i just HEARD Hypno and went 'nope nope nope!'
There would be an incentive to be like Cresselia and be loved isn't it?
when you said hypno took away a child it reminded me of lavender towns hypno (he did the same thing)
