If CJI and PM doing puja under the same roof interferes in discharging their duties unbiasedly then only raise the eye brows. None should check his baggage when some one yells "Thief, Thief". People on both side seem to be hypocrites because a few days ago they were criticizing CJI to be biased in RG Kar Case and now they will support him. Similarly, they praised the CJI for electoral bond case and now they are drawing speculations. Why? Judges are trained to be rational and they are used to make decisions keeping there personal biases aside.
Religion is not private in India's context bcz it's an integral part of our upbringing.

Constitutional Impropriety is all I can think of. CJ has no personal integrity now when he knowingly received the PM to his house when he is the CJ of India. This is a slippery slope and now all future judges will knowingly put themselves in such events with no restraint. The CJ should address if he invited the PM or if the PMO made this happen.

The advise Mr. Sibal addressed to the prime minister is like a written word on water. Knowing this PM and his disdain for constitutional morality and ethics he may have intended to make a spectacle of this and must be also boastfully sending across messages that he has his arm around the shoulder of the Chief Justice of the country. It is impossible to not attribute motives to Modi, and even if one gives benefit of doubt to the CJ, it must be said his, the CJI's conduct was foolish, ridiculous and gross.

Publicity is not important. In the first place Chief Justice should not have invited PM and also PM for whom I have a great respect should have nicely rejected such invitation.
