Thats funny because it was actually developed in the UK. There are even some characters from this edition like Violet and Jeremy who were notable as presenters and commentators on video game shows in the UK like Game's World and Bad Influence!
Codemasters, a British company founded by the Darling brothers in the early 80's. I used to buy a shitload of their games for the C64 and Spectrum back in the day.
