It's not for any lack of your enthusiasm, but I'm just not a fan of this style of music. But if I were going to make any constructive comments it might be to slow down, maybe pitch down the spoken part. Also I'd try to shorten the s sibilance on the tag line. Otherwise I'm firmly in the MTNEA(make trance not exist again) camp. 😂
I have started making music just as a hoby, the one thing I realised is that when you explain it feels so simple and easy. Literally after everyone of your video i feel like, I am gonna make bangers in just a few hours but when you sit down and try to do stuff, reality hits you and you realise its not that easy as i thought it would be 😅😅
That you can externalise everything that happens in your head is very important for us, for some it can be annoying, but for what we want to learn it is very important, it helps us to understand your building process. Thank you very much!
Armin being the reason I started making music is my personal favourite DJ. I really loved this tutorial, thanks again Will. It's crazy how similar this is to some of his latest releases.
Believe it or not, Armin is a man of deep faith. 'what many people don’t know about van Buuren is that he is a devout Christian, and that his faith plays a big role in his music and his life. In an interview with Dutch publication Nieuwe Revu, van Buuren opened up about his beliefs and how they influence his work. “I do believe in God,” he said. ” I think that’s one of the reasons why my music has been so successful, because it has a positive message.” Van Buuren went on to explain that his music is all about bringing people together and making them happy, something that he believes is in line with God’s will. “I think that if there’s a God, he or she wants us to be happy and to enjoy our lives,”'

this is my favorite video you created yet. Trance is by far the most time consuming and difficult genre to produce and it really shows why everyone sticks to the other genres (no hate) but the reward is sweeter than sweet. I began my production journey because of Armin. Thank you for this free gold. You're the best, Will!
Wow. At the beginning I thought this track wasn't goin anywhere, then slowly but steadily it morphed into a solid track! Being able to see the possibilities is truly a wonderful skill. On Armin's advice. This morning I woke up with a cool tune and most of all a good beat inside my head. I started my DAW and as soon as I grabbed the first samples to create it with they sounded so different that it wiped the whole idea from my head. I have that a lot I must say. I wish I could record those kind of thoughts.

I think it’s so cool you decided to put Armin‘s voice in this track, and the melody is dope too! I seriously think you need to get in touch with him and ask if he’d be interested in releasing it with you! If you guys do decide to release it, you should come out with an extended version because I’d love to play it on my show “Trance By Touch” and in the clubs. If you want a title suggestion, I’d say “the Melody Is Sent To You” (Feat. Armin Van Buuren.
The Birthday Boi is a genius! This is epic and totally inspiring for feels!!! I'm sure Armin will be absolutely chuffed to bits to be honoured this way! 👍
The two kick intro reminds me of the opening track to CD2 of ASOT2009. I do love Ableton's racks: the biggest thing I miss when using Reaper. With the recent public release of Ostirus, I'm going to have a go at reproducing your video using only Ostirus for the synths (though I do have Serum and Ableton). (I'm at 47:00 and loving this video so far.) 51:00 sounds like a happy hardcore remix of the Harry Potter theme.
Thanks Will. I really like these trance songs you make highlighting famous artists styles.. I'm following along in cubase and really learning a lot. Also strikes me how you make the chords, basslines, riffs without overthinking it too much. I would get lost in the details and struggle to make progress. More ... more
