I was Godox dude as well, but I got fed up with the bad color. Sucks becasue I have so many Godox lights and triggers. My godox lights run bluish and magenta. I rented the Westcott FJ400 Ver1 last week and I was impressed at the near perfect color at all the brightness settings, very similar to Profoto. Which Godox lights are you using and do you have and color shift issues with yours?
If you message Westcott support, they'll send you a prerelease firmware for the trigger for the R5II which enables TTL and HSS for the R5II. They were very quick with the response which is one of the reasons I have become a Westcott fan.
These new lights look great. Too bad you guys used a Sony camera for the demo, and the images have that terrible Sony lobster colors. The shots of the guy outside have awful color. I know those Sony color because I suffered with them for years until recently switching to Nikon. Haha.
I need good lights for doing inside cooking videos for Y Tube. What do you suggest, less expensive would be appreciated vs more expensive. Have a great day 🌤
You wouldn't want to go with a strobe light then. Reach out to one of our experts and they will be able to find a light that best fist your needs. Email what your looking for to sales@bhphoto.com
you're gonna want an LED continuous light! They range from really cheap for clipping to a phone, to really expensive for cinema. There's all sorts of options though!
Are these also rebranded Orlit/Jinbei lights like the FJ 400?
Yes
@@SpyderBlackOfficial Which model for the 800? I know the 400 was the Jinbei HD400 Pro
Dang, how do you all get the drop before it’s on Westcotts website? Excited for the new options.
We got the inside scoop.
Are the 80 and 200 getting updates as well?
I think the Buff Celestial is a better light with better specs, and much smaller.
I'm a Godox guy till I die, but that 800 looks really enticing. 800 just sits well in between 600 and the overkill of 1200.

I will second that, was so heavily vested in Godox strobes. Switched to Westcott and could not be happier. Their support is just outstanding.
R5mii HSS support yet?

@ Nice! I’ve just been following forums and looking for the official update. That’s great to know and will do!
Of course! A month after I bought my 400. 😖
I like the FJ 800 strobe. I have always wanted a 800 watt strobe.
And you know where to shop for one.

Learn how to shoot. Haha.
