This brings back so many wonderful memories when my husband and I were stationed in Berlin (90-94). We visited the Nuremberg Christmas market every year and many others. Really miss being in Germany❤
My Mum was German and Christkind literally means 'baby Jesus'. She was brought up in a tradition where presents were brought on Christmas Eve by Jesus, not Santa Claus.
I could just cry!! Thankyou for this. Im 43 and when I look bk on the best time in my life it was Christmas in Germany in the 80’s n we went here on the train. It was magical. Im in TX now but I will go back one day 🎄🙏🏼🎉🥰

I watch a lot of walking videos like this and know that usually people shy away or try not to engage with the camera/camera man but I enjoyed that little moment with her and the neighbor. I went here with my son ( in military) about 20 years ago. What a surprise ! My family is German. 2 sons came to America and settled. Was good to see my Homeland and experience it !

A most enjoyable walking tour of the area. First class video production. Christmas and Germany seem to go together well especially with a little snow. I would love to travel there from my home in Chicago. While watching I paid particular attention to all the well mannered people I saw walking around. Apparently the majority of them are able to exist without having to talk on their phones or text constantly as they enjoy the outdoors.
I like to watch different walking tours of Paris and this one is beautiful, what I like is that you take time to show the kiosks, what are they selling and sometimes you stop and let us to watch more detail, it’s like if I were there walking myself. Congratulations, I love it!

I notice that you gave us a really good look at the biscuits, nuts, cake, sausages, home brewed liquors, and beeswax stuffies; but you didnt do much in the way of the Christmas decorations. I would have loved to see the German take on them. I did enjoy seeing the nativity scenes, they were very nice to see. Yeah, it's too bad we don't do something more like this...but...we don't have medieval historic centers. :) Our town does a Christmas parade. People show up and it's over in an hour. :) That's okay though. Time to get out and do some caroling.
I loved visiting this city. I was stationed in Bamberg for 2 years and got to visit a lot of Europe. Germany will always hold a special place in my heart. Most beautiful place in Europe IMO.

Wonderful memories. My wife’s mother lived in the top corner apartment overlooking the Ffrichbrooke Bridge leading up into the Square of Alt Stadt! She were across the Starbucks with the Pegnitz river separating us two. We walked everywhere in Alt Stadt, ate at every restaurant , but the most fun was eating the Nuremberger bratwurst on a rill with hoy Weinstein’s! Lots of great stores. It’s been five years now since we were last there and mother is now gone! I will always cherish those memories...pre-covid19 years! ❤. First went in 1885, and you wouldn’t find anything in English, only German. Now, it mostly English, Americanized. Too bad.

I was there a few years ago. The coldest day of my live. I was walking from one side to the other, always stopping at a bar on the other side of the market to warm up. Having some Gluewein on the way across the market didn't help either. But what a beautiful memory. Thanks for the video 😊

What a huge market, but not too crowded. Add in the snow, the beautiful crafted items, some goodies, topped off with a mug of gluhwein... PERFECTION! I went to Nuremberg probably 60 times in the 2 years and 2 months I was stationed in Germany. Fun city. Seriously. Very very cool city.

Bonjour, merci pour cette belle vidéo, j.ai eu la chance d’aller à Nuremberg pendant la période des marches de Noel, cette ville est magique, et nous avions eu aussi de la neige, malheureusement mon compagnon est décédé il y a un an , et pour nous aller en Allemagne au mois de décembre, c’etait féerique, j’ai eu beaucoup de plaisir de revoir les endroits de la ville que nous avons visité.
