I tried something different, most of the driving footage apart from the speedruns were filmed on a controller cam rather than my head cam.
Not be the best picture quality as I was using a Hero7 silver but if the shots are ok I'll try my Hero7 black, will be much better👌

That was the main thing, can I follow the car good enough for a decent shot while actually in control of the car😅
I worked out I can't follow the cars over big jumps, as soon as it leaves the jump it goes out of frame🤦🤣

Great video mate unboxing was spot on! Camera on controller personally I didn’t notice any difference. The new gps is much better having it on the phone great upgrade 👍 shame it didn’t come with oil filled shocks I personally would take better shocks on the car than it having lights.

Yes it's a nice little car but shocks or light 🤔yeah I'll take the shocks aswell and maybe some better wheels yep😵
Set up a drift track but the corners are different fruits, someone could make a awesome vid from that idea🤣🤘

I ordered the old school looking one and 4 oil shocks, they should be here until mid January!
I just hope the 75mm oil shocks fit into it, because it's really hard to find info online about it! I'm probably going to order new wheels and tires for it, perhaps hex adapters... But I just can't find their size online, so I'm going to need to wait until it arrives to measure them. 😕
And who knows... Perhaps I change even the motor for a 2845 4400kv! 😂

They are very cool little street/drift cars especially being so cheap!
I hate to say it but 75mm shocks will be too long for this car, I think you need 55mm or shorter as the off-road versions can only use upto 65mm shocks, any longer and the rear shafts bind up in the drive cups😕
I think it should be quite easy to swap to standard 1/10 wheel hexes, probably just need longer wheel pins.
And just be careful of the gears if you swap to brushless as the brushed versions have all plastic gears and they are not really brushless strong.

Thanks for your review. So which one should you choose, UD 1604 or SCY 16301?
I personally like the SCY much more, if you compare the brushed versions the SCY is faster and the upgrades are cheaper and probably better quality than the UD but if you stick with brushed the UD is a AWESOME drift car👌

@@rccrazy I like a car that is easy to control, I see many people review the SCY drift as being more difficult than the UD. so i will probably choose the UD.

The GPS is great, not sure range is a issue because it goes out of range then recovers the info ones the vehicle is back in range, literally km away I guess🤔

Oh ok, yes oil shocks would be better and maybe better wheels but I like this car stock.

Good video. Were there separate drift tires and street tires? That is something that I was not completely sure about. I'm not much into the on road side of RCs, especially since I live in a rural area on a dirt road.

Yep👌it comes with drift wheels, they were in the bag with the instruction guide and it has rubber tread wheels installed on the car out of the box.
I did try it on a very mild rocky area, no good so it'd be no good for your road😅

Decent man look similar to sg line I'm having a custom carbon fibre sg build done now mate quick one do you think that the body off this car would fit on a 1603 mate 🙏💚👊
It is a very similar car to the sg line, drives so nice aswell👌
So the sg line seem to be a TINY bit smaller and this SuChiYu, shell doesn't really fit, it looks odd put it that way😅
I'm thinking of doing a kind of comparison between the two, if I do I'll try and remember to show a body swap.

If you don't mind having the rear wheel arches cut a bit in front of the rear wheels, and behind have it cut like may nice looking speed cars, then it will work and look nice,
Some of my wltoys speed builds and my limitless I have used the same trimming style with the rear arches👌

@@rccrazy yeah that could work mate as 26mm foams on my car anyway mate just shaved down a bit so I'm guessing they be bigger than stock 1603 tires 😂😂 cheers for the info mate shame they don't do body's like they do for bigger scale 😂😂
Is it better than the sg or udi
In my personal opinion yes.
Stronger components, it is faster and seems to drift a little better than the udi. But the drift wheels are more rubbery, definitely for smoother surfaces than the udi wheels.
I like both though, both fun cars👌
