Nestled adjacent to the North Courtyard of the Imperial Palace, the Xishan Mansion stands as a beacon of sophistication and grandeur. Spanning an impressive 1280 square meters, this stately abode boasts 7 bedrooms, 9 halls, and 9 bathrooms spread across three above-ground levels and a basement. With a price tag of a hundred million yuan, it's a testament to luxury living in the heart of China's capital.
As we step through the ornate entrance, we are greeted by a picturesque landscape of mountains and water, setting the stage for the opulence that awaits within. Majestic copper lions flank the entrance, guarding the realm of this architectural masterpiece. Intricately designed purple bronze doors open into a realm of splendor, where every detail exudes elegance and nobility.
Inside, the fusion of traditional Chinese architecture and modern design principles is evident at every turn. From the ink marble screen walls symbolizing safety and prosperity to the graceful Gooseneck chairs reminiscent of ancient dynasties, every element speaks to the rich cultural heritage of China.
The interior spaces are thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of modern living while preserving the essence of Chinese tradition. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the living areas with natural light, creating an ambiance of warmth and openness. Modern amenities, including state-of-the-art lighting systems and integrated sound systems, seamlessly blend with traditional décor, striking a harmonious balance between past and present.
The highlight of the mansion is undoubtedly the master suites, each exuding its unique charm and luxury. From oversized leather-edged beds to marble-clad bathrooms equipped with the latest in wellness technology, every detail is meticulously crafted to provide the ultimate in comfort and indulgence.
Special attention is given to elderly residents, with features like floor-to-ceiling windows for ample natural light, a suite designed specifically for seniors, and thoughtful bathroom amenities for enhanced accessibility.
The basement unveils a nanny room, home theater, gym, swimming pool, and spa rooms, epitomizing luxury and leisure. The home library, security room, and private ink room add a touch of sophistication.
The mansion seamlessly blends traditional Chinese garden aesthetics with modern architectural design, achieving a harmonious balance between the past and the present.
But the Xishan Mansion is more than just a residence; it's a sanctuary for the soul. Its expansive gardens, inspired by centuries-old traditions, offer a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. From the soothing sound of flowing water to the fragrant blooms that adorn every corner, the gardens beckon visitors to reconnect with nature and find inner peace.
In essence, the Xishan Mansion is a testament to China's rich cultural heritage and its embrace of modernity. It serves as a reminder that, in a rapidly changing world, tradition and innovation can coexist harmoniously, creating spaces that are both timeless and contemporary.

Sorry I still like Japanese inspired homes. This Chinese home isn’t inspired from traditional Chinese style.

Thanks for the input. Definitely a fusion of both western and eastern influence in the design

yes, the name board, gate, statues, garden and it's pavilions, decoration panels etc is very not traditional Chinese eh? It must be made with old wood, clay, and without paint right?

It's distasteful. Absolutely not a chinese house. The exteriors is a Chinese Mausoleum while the interiors is a modern indoor/outdoor living type of showroom. Not a liveable space you can call a "home".

Agreed. In a sense, to keep the full authenticity of the chinese design, they should have followed through in the interior. But having western amenities like theatre and all does make it challenging. 😄
