- Here's a compilation I put together featuring The Lubbock Babes from 80's sitcom "Just the Ten of Us." I also added some random lines spoken by various characters that I thought were amusing.
-Fans please vote at tvshowsondvd.com to get this show released on DVD.
Thanks and enjoy! :)
I used to love this show and was super bummed when they canceled it. Just out of nowhere too when I thought the show doing great. Go Lubbock Babes!
Heather langenkamp will always be my favorite and I'll never forget her as Nancy in the nightmare series one of the most gorgeous scream Queens to ever live
Brooke Theiss and Jo Ann Willette also appeared in Nightmare on Elm Street movies.
@@Theshark15z It just sucks that Jamie Luner didn't, because she's never at the horror conventions with the other three. 😔
There is a solid joke in season one, where Heather says she doesnt like horror movies.
@@JettBlackheart Jo Ann appeared Nightmare on Elm Street 2 in the beginning and Brooke Thiess appeared in Nightmare on Elm Street 4.
@@Theshark15z Good lookin' out, thank you. Truly! Thats friggin' awesome, cant believe I didn't notice before. Nice.
im glad im not the only just the ten of us fan out here. For the record I have the whole series on VHS and the youngest girl was in the show rags to riches which also had songs in it as well.maybe this show was a spin off of sorts from that one.I also have the complete rags to riches on dvd but Jamie Luner is my all time fav she is GORGEOUS
Just the Ten of Us is a spin-off from Growing Pains.
It was such a good show. There should have been more seasons.
When I was a teen I wanted to have the personality of the blonde , but in reality I was more like the one in glasses LOL
LOL XD
Originally the big redhead was the boy crazy one and the blonde was the idiot but after the first two or so episodes they switched personalities
All four of them are beautiful!
Growing up I always wished I had sisters around my age to hang out with and have fun with. I also loved Wendy and Cindy's outfits.
They have good voices. I noticed that 80's TV sitcoms when the kids of the show would sing and be "Rock Stars" they "mostly" sang 60's songs.
No young teens wanted to sing old ass songs. It's so unrealistic
@@PJV-rf4ng maybe
@@PJV-rf4ng Yeah they would not sing Rock Around the Clock. For the time they would sing Madonna or Expose
Lot of talent to this show. I know, I remember enjoying it then it suddenly disappeared...heck how can it not be good with those 4 cuties?
i need for someone to make it possible to own all episodes in good quality. we can keep this show alive!
The red head was my favorite
3 of them were in the Nightmare On Elm Street Movies ;)
And they died in those movies, too.
Marie Lubbock (Heather Langenkamp) is the legend of A nightmare on Elm Street in the first the third Dream Warriors and the seventh Wes Craven's New Nightmare. ❤
@@robertomerler7424 And she played Nancy Kerrigan. Perfect casting!
I loved this show. Growing up I went to a Catholic school so the jokes and lifestyle made it all the more funny.
Same here!!!
Man, Heather Langenkamp can sing. That's a very good and powerful voice!!!
I have a strong feeling she was dubbed... but I could be wrong.
Jamie was really into “Rock Around The Clock”!
Jim M I think you’re probably right but I’m pretty sure it’s their voices of them all singing
@@brianfreeman9554 Jamie was more into all the songs than the other 3. Marie was such a frump. She was so un-hott in this
I wish to GOD someone had more videos of this show. It was my faaaavorite.
This was a very good sitcom and Heather Langenkamp was the best! I also liked the father, he was really fnny.
ABC never gave this show a fighting chance!
Agreed! It was actually my favorite show of the TGIF lineup during its run.
I can see why
this show got replaced by Going Places which only lasted one season, Just the 10 of us had better ratings than Going Places did
@@Mattwav both turrible
@@Mattwav man, I can still sing the going places theme song! I didn't realize it was on for such a short amount of time
I didn't like family sitcoms too much because I thought they were dumb but there was something about this show that I loved. I can't explain it.
I agree, they really should put this shows on DVD! Thanks for sharing.
Cindy Lubbock was Kelly Bundy levels of hotness and just didn't get enough time to win over the fans
Jamie Luner did eventually appear in an episode of MWC dancing with Bud Bundy.
This was my favorite show when I was a kid.
I loved this show!!
Bill, I'm a MAJOR Just The Ten Of Us fan and you were great in the show and so was everybody else and of course all the girls playing your oldest daughters were cute and funny [I LOVE them all!], I just wish there would have been more than 47 episodes and I'm praying every day for Warner Bros. to release the show on DVD!! Later, Steve
man those were the days. great memories.
Im getting just the ten of us on dvd but for now I have it on VHS 2 tapes worth and Jamie Luner is the only reason why she is one word and that word is simply GORGEOUS
thanks so much. I loved this show and I have been looking all over the place for clips of it.
Amazing how Marie's inability to see without her glasses comes and goes at the speed of plot!
I was in love with Brooke Theiss!
Heather and Brooke had the best singing voice of 4.
hilarious! i remember watching this as a kid as thinking how awesome Heather and Brooke were to move on after Freddy!
Used to watch “Just The Ten of Us” on USA when they had some of the best TV comedy shows over the years.
Marie really came out of her shell.
Awww why did they skip Jamie's song. I remember when I saw this episode I thought she was the best singer of them all. It was a slow slong. "Somewhere between like and love," I think. Just wanted to hear it now to see if I would still think it sounded good, cause my taste has changed a lot since I was a teen.
This was the golden age of sitcoms!
Always loved Connie the best.
I remember this show. Those girls were always singing about something. LOL!
One of my favorite shows ever❤❤
I soo love Heather from nightmare on elm street to this as a kid I allways lookup to her she was and still is my fav. and a great sing she sound good.
I loved Brooke Theiss Maxi doll commercials lol
Cindy for life
Please please please please post more! I absolutely loved this show and I voted for it on the website you mentioned!
Love Marie falling on her back there.
I would be nice to have this show back again.
Used to love this show, brings back good memories. Wish they'd put this on Netflix.
Chris Garland same here loved this freakin show but my fav lubbock babe was connie
Or have one of the digital subchannels pick it up
i used to love this show
thanks for posting this this show brings back so many memories this should be on dvd but no luck on amazon
The Lubbock Babes' singing is a dynamic as Carl and
the Darnells' version of "Do You Love Me" at the end of
the "Big Reunion" episode of Family Matters!
Thanks for the blast from the past! This was one of my favorite sitcoms. I had SUCH a crush on Jamie Luner.
I have a VCR tape full of episodes somewhere which I was just looking for a couple months ago. Didn't find it but if it turns up maybe I'll post some full episodes.
Guess you never found that tape 🤷♂️
Langenkamp really butters my toast!
I wish someone would upload this series in it's entirety and for RUclips to QUIT deleting it once it is!
Just the entire series of 50 episodes and RUclips to ignore it. That's not asking much
@@joshschaeffer3300 47
I loved this show too.
I also liked how the two younger of the four oldest daughters would always deride the older two for their boy-crazy ways, and yet any time they were given the chance they were just as flirtatious as the rest of 'em.
Used to have a crush on Jamie Luner
Chris Garland Me too, she looks life Robyn Lively from Teen Witch.
You and every other male from 10-90.
i think i still do.
alvincura Have you though it out anymore? You said you (think) You still do. Just wondering if you've come to a final conclusion?
I like the one who played Cindy. They are all beautiful but I like Cindy's face best. And my second favorite is the geek, Marie. I can relate to the geeks of the world, because I am one myself.
Awesome! That was one of my favorite shows growing up. It needs to be on DVD like NOW!
Definitely post more if you have them. I love this show. It needs to be on dvd.
Heather =) Once again, still my favorite!
Man Heathe rLangenkamp can really sing. All this time I knew her just as Nancy from Nightmare on Elm Street
My favorite episode(s) had to be the one where they go to the Virgin Islands, and the other girls think that Marie lost her virginity to...."Gavin DOOSLER!!!" LOL
"GAVIN DOOSLER'S dying???" Omg hilarious 2 part episode!
Don't recall this ep, I do recall the "Daddy's Dying" ep, in which the entire cast mistakenly thinks Coach Lubbock is at death's door. In a notable moment of sheer surrealism the school's choir assembles under his hospital window and sings "Eve of Destruction".
Let's be honest here... Most of us came here for Heather Langenkamp.
I sure didn't I came here for Jamie Luner. She is TOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
omg i use to love this show
I love Heather!
I had a crush on Marie (Heather Langenkamp) back in the day.
Franko Arrow Easy to see why.
Franko Arrow me too I met her at Alamo City Comic Con two years ago and we talked for 20 minutes just about Just the ten of us
I liked Heather but always wondered why they cast her for a "family sitcom" when she went topless in a movie a few years earlier. And magnificent tits they were!
Funzo You named yourself Funzo? Really?
Same here
This was always my favorite part about the show, how the sisters, even Marie, the conservative one, had like a double life where they'd sing at night. I vaguely remember an episode, or it may have even been a 2 part episode where Marie went to be a nun the same day the sisters had a big performance, & burned her costume or something, but then changed her mind & showed up last minute at the club w/a half charred costume. Am I remembering this right?
man this takes me back I hope they will put this out on dvd soon
For the most Catholic girl, who planned to become a Nun, Marie went secular quick.
8:10 - Wow. Heather has a nice pair.
Ih god I just love this show, it's so freaking cool and funny.
for a second i thought nightmare on elm street was having a reunion.
creepy.
i miss this show :(
thanks for posting luv these 80's retroshows if you have any more episodes please post them thanks
Thanks for posting this.I loved this show. All the
girls were hot especially Connie (Joann Willette).
I had a big time crush on her.
PLEASE UPLOAD MORE EPISODES OR CLIPS OF THEM AS "THE LUBBOCK BABES"!! THANKS
Ican"t wait for it to come on DVD! Great Show!
For those that weren't sure, the missing clip of Jamie Lunar's song was called "Between Like and Love" and it was originally by Billy Vera and the Beaters.
This show brings back some memories 😌 the two older sisters were so gorgeous 😍
Those girls had presence! Why didn't ABC or Warner Bros. try for a tie-in album? I mean, even if it's all covers, I'd buy it.
Wow, I so remember this! I remembered the episodes a little differently, but still....
My sister and I loved this show as little girls
I just bought the entire series of JTTOU on ioffer. The quality is like 7 or 8 out of ten. but it was soooooo... worth it. to have this show is amazing.
I met her at HorrorHound Weekend about 5 or 6 months ago.
eventhough my fav was connie but cindy was bangin 4real!!
Thank you so much for posting this!!
Boy does that hair bring back memories.
Will this show ever be on DVD? This was my fave show back in the 80/s
I actually talked to Brooke Theiss yesterday. She told me the reason its not on dvd is because of all these songs they sang, they dont have the rights to them.
Like WKRP in Cincinattit here are too many musical rights issues.
Bill kirchenbauer said the network chucked all the original tapes of this show so there'll never be a DVD release
@Legend Killer all the episodes are online though.
Ahh! The Lubbock Babes! One of my friends was hot for Heather and another was hot for Jamie and I was hot for Brooke! So we never missed an episode!
I'd gladly take Connie off your hands.
That's what I call hot to the 4th power!
No clue what that means
LOL,see that's why I love RUclips, because on the off chance you can't find a video, which you usually can, you'll find someone else that remembers something. There have been so many shows or episodes of shows that I remember where if I ask anyone if they remember, they look at you like your're crazy.I've had so many 'I KNEW I wasn't crazy & this really happened' moments on RUclips, lol
They started a band to raise money if memory serves. It didn't take long for the show to switch focus off the fat, bald guy and onto the 4 older girls who were the only girls at the all boys school he taught at, they must have really needed a basketball coach. It would be too controversial today on tv, he was a devout catholic who wasnt corrupt or a pedo and so was his family. Never make it in 2020.
ABC screwed over this show bad when they cancelled it. It was one of the best eye-candy shows ever.
This was one of my favorite shows
What were the other's? Just kidding I don't care what the others were. :p
i still can't believe 3 out of the four lubbock babes were in a nightmare on elm street films
Cindy and Wendy were the ones I had a crush on.
Heather Langenkamp gives me needs.
Heather langenkamp was young , and even younger in a nightmare on elm street 1984
Sing it, Heather! Woo!
Hey, is this show on DVD? I have been looking for it for well over a decade. If anyone knows please let me know. Also, if it is on reruns i want to know where. thanks
They should at least rerun it so I don’t totally forget how it was back then.
If you like Jamie Luner in this then watch her as Sabrina on 'Confessions of a sorority girl' !!
Me too - I fell in love with it on this show, and have never been able to find out who sang the original! I'm not even sure of the title so I couldn't really google it, and nothing has shown up on lyric searches. Would still love to see the clip of Jamie singing it :)
Connie's spinning pony-tail drives me wild!
@agenttorpor The same thing happened to ABC's Batman series, which aired 20 years before this show. Batman consistently went over its production budget, and the network responded by cutting costs in the third season - i.e. making the sets cheaper and getting rid of Aunt Harriet. Also, everyone knew it didn't have long to live when episodes began to be shown only once a week.
I had all four of them!
