Well done for practicing this sacro-iliac yoga class with me! I truly hope it made you feel better - leave me a comment and let me know! 🌟 And Happy New Year to you all!! 🎉
It is scary to wake up in so much pain I swear it makes me tear up with frustration. This video helped not only move but also feel less helpless ... thank you
@@YogawithJoelle I had a nuclear bone scan two days ago and yesterday the nurse called and said the report said that I have arthritis in my SI joints and in my knees. I assume this is osteoarthritis because my blood work does not show anything as far as autoimmune RA. No malignancies, no fractures or infection was shown. I have had 2 lower lumbar spinal fusions which I think may have contributed to this condition that I have now. I am 59 and have been in pain for many years but in severe pain for the last year. This has limited my sitting and standing, walking now for a year. So I have done NO exercise or even normal daily activities have been severely limited. My question is, can I start with these yoga movements at this stage? Thank you so much!
@@brendapouncey6475 I read that pregnancy is the No 1 cause of SI Syndrome and Spinal Fusion is #2. I also had fusion and have SI Syndrome. It has been the worst health problem I've ever had to deal with.
Am a very novice yogi, but have been experiencing SI pain for the past several months. Went thru the practice for the first time yesterday afternoon, and last night was the first time I was able to lay in bed without SI pain. Thank you so much!
Beautiful.I have a recurring SI concern which I’m currently rolling on a ball and doing a stretching program twice a day. This is helping but not deleting the problem. This lovely program really felt different right away. I have done many years of yoga but nothing for several years. I’m an active 74 year old woman and golf and gardening has just started, mindfull on how much I do during the week. I will do this program regularly. Thanks.
That's wonderful to hear Sarah, well done for finding what you need! You may have seen it already, but I also have a slightly longer SI Joint pain practice here in case you're ever looking to mix things up: ruclips.net/video/RDChR5cPSQ4/видео.html 😉
Thank you. I used to do yoga and haven’t gone back since covid started. I’ve been having such bad pain. I looked up stretched for SI pain and your video came up. I was so pained that I didn’t even think I could get up to go to my chiropractor appointment. I did these stretches and realized that it’s probably a lot because I’m so tight. Thank you so much. It was not by accident that I found you. Appreciate you
Well done to you Vanessa! It can be really easy to be hard on ourselves when we're not sure what our body can or can't do, but you did it!! So glad you came across my channel too. Oh, and if you're specifically looking to feel a bit more open around the SI joint area, I have a more recent deep stretch video for this area that you could try too to see if it helps: ruclips.net/video/Dbisz91PK8M/видео.html
When I first experienced SI pain it stopped me in my tracks. I couldn't turn over in bed, could barely walk and had pain while walking, standing, sitting and lying down. Finally better.

I am one year laminectomy discectomy with fusion and still having lots of pain, trouble bending and leaning. Lots of tightness despite stretching and physical therapy. I have been doing this video and a few others of yours the last couple of weeks. I have noticed it is starting to help a little. Thank you.
Hi Joelle, I have just done this practice combined with your suggested lower back pain video. I am 21 and soon to have an MRI scan following severe and ongoing hip, pelvic and low back pain - potential arthritis and I do yoga every single day to keep mobile / fluid and attempt to relieve pain. Thank you so much for these videos they were nice to do and I’ll definitely revisit them regularly. Any future videos regarding hip, pelvis and back pain relief would be hugely helpful - stress relief yoga also ❤️

This video is the only thing that has helped stabilize it, and quickly, and easily. I have surgery scars that sometimes make doing yoga difficult, and this video helps without agitating those issues. Even when I use the yoga block for assistance it still helps me significantly. I'm so glad this video is out there, since it's so easy and helpful!
Me too. EDS. I’m 77 and I’ve had sacral pain for 20 years. MD advised hip replacement and back surgeries didn’t help. Sleeping in bed is a big problem. I’m going to do this starting right now!
