"Every time a kid crushes a project one more adult falls into depression". That just about sums it up when I see the kids in my climbing centre flashing routes I wouldn't even consider.
As an adult I don't sweat it seeing a kid climb something I am struggling with. They have everything going for them. Flexible, good hand strength to weight ration, lack of fear and just the ability to recover quicker. Am much more impressed seeing the 70 year old still at it.
I love how genuinely Millie is cheering, when Gemma is sticking the Knee to Stand-Up transition at 16:16! Also, great video again, Josh! Enjoyed it thoroughly, so many nice people you have there :)
These kids have some serious talent!! Another Great video Josh!! looking forward to you climbing and showing those kids how it's done!! Question you think Freddy likes you being injured so he can get all the limelight? Haha!!
Don't beat yourself up bc of the missing audio, it didn't decrease the quality of the video in any way!! It would have been hilarious if you just dubbed it without even mentioning xD As always a pleasure to watch ;)
Part of the reason kids are now able to develop so quickly is down to short reach circuits like the one at FP Bristol or the mini works in Sheffield, it would be great if more centres did this. That mint as an example was an excellent problem, my then 9 year old son sent it after a few goes, he found the last move quite committing. The next generation is insanely talented and a pleasure to watch!!
i’ve been climbing since i was 8, coming up on 10 years soon and as a really short kid i learnt to find different ways to send stuff. setting for short kids would help in some ways but i also think not being able to do stuff the intended way was massively helpful for my development
You should have just dubbed everything going on after the mic failed! Sadly, I passed from 'Adult' into the 'Old Person' category a while ago, maybe you can add another category for the next part :)
climbing is for the children! lol...because they are light, strong, and crazy little demons. Josh, first video of yours i've seen, and I quite like your voiceover actually at the end. thanks for doing a great job editing!
Great video but just gotta say it! How can the young teens say they're 7a+/7b climbers when they cant do the second climb (yellow)!? 8:30 Also, you cant do a climb wrong, rather differently or say breaking the beta! After watching this video I'm thinking to myself that these kids are definitely not v8 and more like v6 max! or this gym is just marked too easy!
I hope my boyfriend never sees this video because then he'll know that my excuse for not sending a boulder "i'm just not tall enough" makes absolutely no sense and i'm just whining
You can do it I'm only 5 foot 2 and I can still send them being vertically challenged is really helpful alot in climbing because we are more flexible then an average adult.
ngl im 14 to 16 years old and I purposely bulked up and got a six pack so that when I crush climbs at least adults can say they were not beaten by a younger skinny kid. I do understand it can be hard on adults so I try to choose climbs that no one is projecting on. But I got to say that as a older kid it can be super annoying when a rather skinny 10 year old does a v6 and I dont know how they got the physical strength to even do it XD.
Adults got to realize that in most cases smaller fingers are a huge advantage. granted my hands are almost full size already but even ive been stumped a few times by younger kids especially on climbs with smaller holds XD

They've also been doing monkey bars on the regular
@@user-K8Tthe 70 year olds???
@@TheoMagas the kids. Though if grandma's doing monkey bars, good on her.
@@user-K8Tas a young climber I can confirm that back in elementary school I did indeed flash the monkey bars and even the occasional monkey bar dyno
Honestly, I see a huge skill gap between the kids and the adults: the kids are so much more positive and less self-defeating.

We had a great crew :). Thank you!!
bro climbing with jeans, a real menance

They are pretty strong!! Thanks Josh! haha hopefully I can!! hahaha I think the fame is going to go to his head ;)

Thank you!! haha yes I should have! Next time (hopefully not) I'll do that
Awesome video.
Those kids are insanely strong and talented!
they are awesome!
I wish so badly that I had there flexibility XD
Great video Josh! I'm looking forward to the next one!
Thank you :)

I was down at Bristol flashpoint this weekend! Good gym, definitely well set. Keep up the videos mate
ah cool! Yes Flashpoint is an awesome gym. Thank you will do!
Rematch: the kids will definitely get it next time..... well done Millie and Leo 💪💪💪
lets seee :)
When I see anyone below 18 years in the gym, I know they are at least 3 grades better than me. 😅
16:11 the famous knee-match
great video, super underated!
Very inspiring... my son is also obsessed... Now he is the speed WR kid u13 champion in Jakarta
Haha, worth watching till the end!

Haha next time. Not sure my impressions are that good 😅. Haha that’s a good idea. Next time
Problem is Freddy and I tried this other black on a slab while the tie breaker was being filmed - I flashed it and Freddy couldn’t even start it 😂
There should have been a tie breaker for the tie breaker then.
@@louiepinnell5339 😂
haha and a tie breaker for that tie breaker?
format is great. more please! no sound is also no problem. you apologize in such a nice way... so all good, my friend.
thank you!!!
The mic failure was your chance to channel your inner Matt Groom, dude! ;)
haha should have thought of that
This is flashpoint Bristol right, great place
I’m down if u need a part 2 😂
They should have chosen your orange V8 for you Leo. I bet Freddie couldn’t have done that one.
I mean of course a kid crusher from the GB team will climb better than me, an "adult"...
haha
Felt this when I went with my little brother and he flashed two problems that had taken me over a month 😂
great video keep them coming
Thank you :)
Is there any other RUclips or other sns that I can check out anyone who complished the crazy Yellow one?? (I think the second one)
BTW, loved the video! Hope more of you versus!
I don't think there is. I'll try it when I'm next there an post it to IG if do it :)
Thank you! I have lots more VS videos if you haven't watched them yet :) ruclips.net/video/Poy8dwRUENw/видео.html

Thank you 🙏 I’m pleased you liked it!!
Me, 1.87m: "This is hard to reach"
Some kid, 1.30m: "Let me flash this"
Me: "uhh, I guess I must be doing something wrong..."
“Merely a skill issue” I’m a 1.85 kid and I struggle a lot as well sometimes
very wholesome video
thank you :)
hello, where is the climbing room located please ?
Flashpoint in Bristol uk
Yes Leo 💪💪💪
very epic video, but do you own an air fryer?
Thanks. Haha I do why? Was it in the background or somthing
Anyone know what pants Leo is wearing?
i think the part without the microphone is almost better than the first part 😛
haha thanks :)

Not many people did the second yellow, it is way, way harder than it looks! They are both very strong, Leo is now doing some V10s in a session.
Why is the rock edit so funny
There’s a kid at my gym who’s so good lmao . Like she can do some of the hardest walls 😵💫😵💫😵💫 and km here dying on V1 🤣
I guess, now you're not even a V8 boulderer anymore
23:20
my man's out here sending in jeans
#nofear
I don't think I could ever climb in jeans 😅
Ooo who's gonna win? 😁
I like to see kids climbing cuz theyre closer to my height, so I can use their beta 😆
Nice
I hope my boyfriend never sees this video because then he'll know that my excuse for not sending a boulder "i'm just not tall enough" makes absolutely no sense and i'm just whining
Haha then you really want to Hope he doesn’t see this one 😂 😉

Are you proud of your son, Freddy for getting braver and being in front of the camera more? I am
I am. It’s taken a lot of work but he finally taking to the spot light 💡
So basically after 3-4 times more years of climbing, adults still barely manage to outperform the kids? 😛
I just remind myself that the youngins weigh about as much as my left ass cheek... That's why they climb better than me
Definitely not a skill issue.
Is that Millie carrignton?
Yesss :)
Lets see how good they climb when the learn about tax. That'll get um good and depressed.
😂😂😂
Kids are still better tho :)
we will have to see in the rematch...
