Thank you so much Skottie from Finland! Following your tutorials I have learnt a totally new way of seeing faces and drawing them so much easier than before. Less is more! I love to try to draw loosly. I still need a pencil before fineliner and I am still lacking the skills to draw with speed.
I love your way of teaching as well as your calming voice! As an elementary school teacher for more than 30 years I know how difficult it is to learn the skill of teaching! I am so happy I found your channel.

thanks for the feedback! Glad you are enjoying the content 😊. it’s fine to use pencil first if it makes it easier. All the best with your sketching!

That was great Scottie! Every face is unique, but basically the same, that can make drawing faces a challenge, but a good challenge!

Great tutorial! All your tutorials so far have been a great help for beginners and im addicted. Its just a shame that none of your tools ship to the UK, its becoming incredibly difficult to find similar versions to substitute

@@SketchingScottie No sorry I couldnt find it for the life of me (I have a terrible memory and have literally misplaced a comment) but in the process I actually stumbled across a supplier in Brighton who sells some of the Posca pens

Okay I found the video! Yeah I did try searching the names/similar products for the UK but there didnt seem to actually be many alternatives with that naming scheme so nothing came up aside from things I couldnt buy but that search is what led me to a supply company in the UK who have an explanation page of their products and was able to find similar things that way, so thanks anyway!

Hello How You Calculate The Proportion Please?
    Thanks For Sharing.. Blessings

In this kind of sketching we have a few proportion measurements which I demonstrated like the method for finding the chin and the 4 dots for the face. otherwise we use main shapes to build the portrait from observation 👍🏼
