Long live the King. RIP James Earl Jones
Star Wars has always been the most emotional story for me. It's so rare for a story to stir up so many of my emotions.
Attachment leads to the dark side.
@@DangerDave-e7u Tell that to Revan Redeemed and Bastila Shan😂
@@DangerDave-e7u Jedi logic is flawed, remember that.
yes. Too bad the TV series couldn't capture this. I don't even think the movies did either.
Really? I’d have liked it to, but not once…never. Maybe a drama with Revan might. I know where you’re coming from though - for me, it’s 2003 BSG. I’ve watched the series four times, always get choked up.
Thanks for this. The book is so good, and I also love the Kenobi series. I also find it a remarkable aspect how Luke is being raised on this stinky rotten desert planet full of crime and poverty while Leia is being raised literally as a princess, even though they got exactly the same parents. That's not touched upon very much, but I still find it interesting.
Btw rest in peace and power James Earl Jones, Vader's original voice and character who passed away yesterday at age 93. May the force be with him! 🙏✨
Yeah, I like that aspect, too. If the twins were switched, I don’t think Leia would have been as gracious as Luke was after finding out her brother was a prince, and she…wasn’t.
Qui Gon’s wisdom will forever be goated
He’s the GOAT
my favorite character from day 1
Even in his most troublesome moment, when he is at a low point, his master is there to guide him. Great story and it's beautifully explained
Always happy to watch another Retney Holocron😁
As long as there was sand. Vader would not go there. He hates sand
After watching this video essay, I see now that Luke being raised with the Lars family is akin to Kal-El being raised in Kansas by the Kents. It grounded Luke in ways Jedi younglings never knew
If Anakin was raised by Obi-Wan (a Jedi Master), that's all Anakin would know. As Luke grew up under Obi-Wan's tutelage, he might grow arrogant and begin to misuse his gifts. Even Yoda mentioned that Jedi have become more arrogant over the years prior to the Clone Wars.
Ouch
RIP Darth James Earl Jones
Retney! Have you seen the new fanmade Plageuis movie? Would love to hear your thoughts on it.
I watched the beginning part of it, it was awesome. I'll have to set time aside to watch the whole thing!
An ad on a 8min video 😂😂
Bro doesn't know how RUclips works
