The ceramic detailer is actually a good one in this new line up.
Lmao the intro is hilarious. Wooops. 😂 glass cleaner 😂
I use bead it up all the time. Can’t find any other product such cost effective as that one. $30 bucks for gallon. Doesn’t attract dust, and durable. Super slick and omg this smell I love it. I was testing on one of my vehicles and it’s still on there 6 months later. I didn’t top it off. Nothing. Of course it’s almost gone on the front bumper and windshield cause I’m using APC or bug remover often. I also use it on semi truck windshield because of simplicity and I can clean those bug guts with no effort even with rinseless wash as if they were just fingerprints.
I use BIU for my mtoher in law's old and tired ford explorer that gets washed properly once in a blue moon and im always surprised to see the protection still there
Love this review. I'm surprised the detailer did this good compared to the wax, esp after the Adams cleaner. Mostly based on durability but the wax looked great
As far as 3D products I use, Nano Shampoo, Nano Wheel Cleaner, 3D Speed, 3D One and I have tried their tire/trim product.
Good stuff, ive been using the ceramic detailer to add some protection after a wash.
Nooooooo not my BIU. Agree, it’s so cheap there’s no need to dilute it. Was interested in the iron remover until I noticed it was 64oz. Favorite products are super citrus and BIU. I’ve used the super soap a few times and really like the very little I have to use. Maybe it’s just me but I can’t tell the difference between multiple PH balanced soaps and cleaning power but the cost effectiveness will keep me sticking with it.
you'll never notice the difference between soaps until you use some bad ones! or you clean something really filthy, though super soap is a great soap all around.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa oh and a half oz of super soap in the MJJC V3 is phenomenal. Really liking it better than the clear Amazon one.
@@CARWASHCHANNEL. eventually yea I'm sure I can
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa ok
Any chance you might have another light to go to your left hand side, can be a little harder to compare with the spotlight mainly focused on the right?
Thanks for the videos.
Or maybe remove the spotlight?
I tried that in the past but the light washed everything out. I am actively looking for a better soft lighting solution.
During torture test why does everybody rub it in with a rag. When you drive your car on the street and it gets dirt from the road and everything else you don't rub it in before you wash it?
I am not trying to simulate driving conditions, I am testing it's chemical resistance to serve as a baseline for it's expected durability over time.
I used Adam's wheel & tire cleaner for the first time yesterday and i wasn't thoroughly impressed and I did dilute 1:1 like you suggested in this video. It just didn't seem to foam up on the tire at all and seems very watery. I will try full strength next time. Maybe mine was pre-diluted before I got it off Amazon... 😆 I've heard great things about Adam's, so was surprised. Thanks 4 the video! I may pickup a gallon of the bead it up, as it's fairly cheap by the gallon.
Consider another product which I have been satisfied in a ceramic detailer, it is from Pro Wax Synergy Ceramic Detailer. Last time I ordered it was $29 a gallon, plus shipping. It's characteristics are more like a ceramic spray, than a detailer.
that's pretty weird. I do notice sometimes it don't foam up as nicely if there was a lot of tire dressing on there already but mine foams right out of a normal sprayer.
3D Detailer is really good. Apex got virtually the same results. The product has great durability.
Great review and comparison, thanks.
Thanks for the video interesting results. I would have thought the ceramic wax would have the most long term durability. I have used yellow degreaser for wheels diluted 8:1 and bug remover(excellent).
Hi there- does bead it up give enough protection to use as stand alone product? Tyvm
yes absolutely
Can i apply the wax. Once its cured apply the detail spray over top. Id like the wax for scratch filling. Then the detail spray for durability. Not sure if that even works. You should look into Car Shield Graphene Ceramic spray. Stuff is super nice .
yes absolutely you can
Pozdrowienia z Polski ,super test szukałem takiego porównania , chce wejść w linie 3D aby ułatwić sobie Życie, Dzięki
The GLW detailer smells amazing. I wonder if you put a coat of the detailer over the wax would it give you the best of both worlds, gloss and durability?
since the wax is ceramic you can maintain it with the detailer
Can you do a 3D SIO2 Detailer VS Ceramic Speed Shine comparison. Since Ceramic Speed Shine was the winner in one of your older reviews from a couple years ago and Beat It Up was close second or third at the time. I just thought it would be interesting.
Yea I am sure I can at some point. I have a lot of tests to get through.
Martin, have you ever used Pro Wax Synergy Ceramic Detailer? I got mine in a Glove Box subscription a couple of years ago. Last time I ordered, it was $29 a gallon. The beading is amazing. I apply as a drying aid or with my ONR washes. I did apply after I applied their ceramic coating.
I have not looked into Pro Wax yet
Is the Amour detail supply ceramic spray fairly even in performance compared to bead it up in your opinion?
Armour is much stronger
How would you describe the ceramic wax? Is it an LSP? Does it have any correction? How does compare to Poxy? Does it last longer?
LSP no correction lasts longer than poxy
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa thanks I got a bottle of the wax for Christmas and I just did my car for springtime, and used speed, but wasn't sure if this was the best idea on top of speed. I've got both ceramic wax and Poxy . I put the wax on it and it did real well over speed
Brian at Apex had good results for the new detailer. 😎
I saw!
I think a horizontal panel will work better to show beading and contact angles
Yea that's true, I have experimented with the panel at that angle before
What do you recommend as maintenance after applying proxy
Bead it up
Whats the best you have used in your opinion till this day ?
cant beat the price of bead it up
I'm glad you're testing for slickness. I believe that can indicate self-cleaning ability. I'm looking for spray protection for gloss black wheels because I can't be bothered to apply a proper coating to them 😂. Do you know of one that's slicker than the 3D and gives 3-6 months of durability?
You would be surprised actually. The less slick products tend to be more resistant to dust as they create less static and they tend to bead water more. If you want something sprayable I would say get Vonixx Sinergy Wheel and to maintain use Carpro Hydro2 or Gyeon Wet Coat.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa thanks for the recommendations, I will look into them.
On beading--something I've noticed is that there's a difference between just beading, and getting those beads off the car. On some coatings you just get big beads that tend to stick there and dry (talking normal wetting, like from rain). On others they tend to run off the panel more easily. I just applied Meguiar's Hybrid Paint Coating to the car for this reason, beating out Gyeon Can Coat, due to its slickness. This lends to its better self-cleaning capability. I've been surprised several times now when accidentally brushing past the car. The car feels like a Slip N Slide and surely that will help to reduce some marring and scratches as well.
I sure hope it doesn't turn out to be a dust magnet though.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa thanks in part to your reviews I'm going to pick up Hybrid Solutions Graphene Infused Flex Wax because I can get it locally and get it done this weekend while the car is detailed and in the garage. I really want something easy to spray and wipe because wheels are a pain. The Vonixx looks great and I'll keep it in mind for the future if the TW doesn't hold up. So my last step products to date are:
Paint and plastic trim: Meguiar's Hybrid Paint Coating
Wheels: Hybrid Solutions Graphene Infused Flex Wax
Tires: Hybrid Solutions Graphene Acrylic
Glass: Gyeon Quick View

Excelente video saludos desde cali Colombia 🇨🇴
test nanao skin ceramic graphene detailer please
ive had my eye on it
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa let me know 😉
When you test the wheel cleaners can you compare NanoSkin to Adams? They seem to work similarly in my separate uses, but NanoSkin is a HUUUUUUGE value.
nanoskin is one ive had my eye on
lookup johan delgado he posted a video comparing these 2
His video is why I bought it when I ran out of Adams, I like to see other opinions too. I'm pretty pleased with it. Blows the doors off of Dark Fury for sure.
Any chance you’ve tried the Superior Products acid wheel cleaner now that Meguiar’s discontinued theirs? Wondering how it compares on paint as a water spot remover.
I have not but I will probably be getting 3d super wheel cleaner after meguiars is out since it is also an acid cleaner
@@BelLavoroAutoSpaThank you for pointing that out! I saw the "No HF/sulfuric" on the label and assumed it wasn't. Specifically states safe for clear coat/painted (wheels, but still) so seems a much safer choice.
Yea just means they arent using that specific acid which is really bad for your health
Good test, Martin! Hey, I"m kind of new to the 3D brand, but obviously it's one that you rely on a lot. Which 3D products are your go-to's that you're always reaching for? Just started a part-time detailing gig, and am always looking for good products. I just ordered the Turtle Wax Rapid Decon Wheel Cleaner/Iron Remover based on your recommendation, and am looking forward to putting it to work.
super pre soa, super soap, super citrus, super degreaser, ACA compound line, one, speed, bead it up, carpet shampoo, lvp cleaner are probably products I use heavily when im detailing for money
Try using 3D One & 3D Speed. 3D One is a Compound/Polish and Pad dependant, meaning it will cut & or polish depending on foam pad. 3D speed will polish & protectant, AIO (all in one).
I'm using their abrasives.
Speed - Cleaner Wax
AAT502 - Finishing Polish
ACA520 - Polish
3D ONE - Medium Polish
ACA500 - Heavy Cut
I keep the AAT502 because it's finished out on surfaces that I struggled to finish using ONE or ACA520.
Most everything else I use is by Optimum.
Does the new wax come in a 16 ounce bottle?
yes, 16oz is what is pictures here. if you meant 64 ounce, no.
A month ago, you posted a review of the 3D GLW Series, mentioned that Mike Phillips had resigned from 3D, and questioned 3D's ownership. I did a little poking around and found that Nathan Iverson is the CEO of Automotive Technology Group, who owns 3D Products. ATG appears to be a conglomerate that holds a "portfolio of brands that formulates and manufactures superlative, innovative, safe, and environmentally conscious automotive detailing products…"
It's always a concern when a small company, run by the owner/chemist, is bought out by a larger one, and becomes one of several, competing brands in the same market space. Who's formulating the new products. Who's in the customer service department, answering customer questions and concerns? Is Mr. Goren still involved?
Thank you foe thr info. Tunch himself actually commented on one of my videos. He is still there leading product development however he says he has a less hands on role now since selling the company.
Interesting. Thanks for that. A lot of times, when a firm like ATG buys out another, usually smaller, company, they'll keep the original owner, president, etc., "on staff", or on the board as a "consultant", to give everyone the impression it's business as usual. A good deal of the time, it's just for appearances sake.
That said, the GLW Series is post-acquisition, which is a very good sign.
I appreciate your articles. 3D has always been a little bit of a 'sleeper' brand-hard to get product reviews and comparisons. Brian from Apex and Pan make occasional mentions but I think you've offered a more thorough, overall look at 3D's products.
Keep up the good work!
@@Invincibility550 thank you. I try to give my best fair and impartial opinions on the brands I review.
NONE OF THE GLW LINE SAYS ANYTHING LIKE THE ORIGINAL 3D LINE. WHICH IS THE ORIGINAL LINE SAYS ALL OF THEIR PRODUCTS ARE VOC AND PROP 65 COMPLIANT. THAT TO ME MEANS MORE AND A GREAT SELLING POINT TO CUSTOMERS. UNLIKE GYEON THAT COMES WITH A WARNING LABEL. SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT.
Probably because GLW is a consumer line made to be sold on shelves in retail stores. The rest of the brand is targeted at care care professionals.
Can you use ceramic detailer and bead it up as clay lube while having rinseless wash on the pannel??
Thanks
No you would need to wipe off the rinseless wash first
Got it, Thanks.
👌
I'm not a big fan of ceramic products because they make all your microfiber towels less absorbent. I think in the future they will abandoned all SI02 products for products with ease of use instead of longevity. Ceramic is just too hyped up.
Ceramic has been around for the past decade and isn't going anywhere. On the towels you are right. I find using a microfiber detergent and washing in hot water gets it out. You can also soak them prior. Ease of use products have been around forever. Wax and polymer based products are still readily available and very cheap.
That's just it. You shouldn't have to soak and use hot water and go to extremes on your towels just to get a few more weeks of longevity on your car. The entire world of Auto Detailing is Smoke & Mirrors. All it really takes is common sense and elbow grease to get your car looking good. I know some people like Ceramics, but ( just my view) I think it makes your car look like its encapsulated in glass. It lacks that warm depth you get from sealants and waxes. But, We live in a world of Social Media Deception and endless influence-rs ( or should I call them Manipulators ) As long as that 's the case ~ Your Right, Ceramics will be around forever because the Stupid Phone Gen Z crowd won't question a damn thing in there lives. @@BelLavoroAutoSpa
To be honest with you this microphone isn’t better.
thank you. I had the same opinion, sacrificed some audio quality to be better heard. im trying to find good usb-c wireless lavalier mics with good audio
