I’ve been to S.Korea 3 times with a tiny ability to speak Korean and had no issues. How is Japan if you aren’t fluent in Japanese? I will certainly learn the basic greetings etc.
@@Berandini Always the more you know the better you can interact but you can get around pretty well, there's always English menus and most general signs are in English. And there's apps you can download to help navigate the bus and train system in Japan.
Your videos are great lessons for those of us from other countries who will visit Japan. It takes a lot of dedication to film and edit your videos and I admire your hard work. Excellent job!

Very nice video. You are very thorough. A woman traveling alone in Japan can be worrisome, but at least you are free to do what you want! The small sleeper area may be small, but at least it gets the job done. Size isn't everything!
When I was a kid, I was in Hong Kong, watching a lot of Japanese cartoon. The transition sound you use between scenes is very nostalgic for me. Crayon Shin-Chan! The woman's perspective is very important, but it's very good that you are not just about trains too.... I think you show up on my feed because of all the Japanese train videos I have been watching.

Stay safe!! I think private rooms are worth it, good to remove that anxiety by getting private rooms mostly for security reasons especially if you're a girl, having a worry free and secure space is a must!!. Keep up the great content!!

Japan travel channels are interesting and great to see Japan before they reopened for foreigners. It is really a simple formula, natives might take it for granted or find it silly that foreigners are interested in this but North America has horrible public transit which likely makes this amazing to do many of us. Interestingly you let us see that there are still native Japanese enamored by trains which is a new perspective I haven't seen from the other Japan travel channels along with other unique aspects that made your video unique. Always good to see a newer person get into a genre and this seems to be the first such channel by a woman so good luck. Do you think you could do some trips on ferries? Ferry ride videos are particularly interesting because of how uniquely suitable boat travel is for Japan as an island nation

When I visited Tokyo in this station i got lost because some of writings are wrong and the others are in Japanese language but it tooks me hours to reach my place thanks to people who helped me

I don't think Japan will build another overnight train for commuting, but if they did, I think they can improve the nobi robi by turning them into capsules... Maybe not 100%, but privacy would be better. Locked storage is possible too. This would be better than most capsules too: there is a window to show people if your meal is good! A hot food/hot drink machine would be very good too.

Would you recommend that seat to someone with a bad back and a side sleeper? I also love bento boxes. They are very delicious and deceiving when you look at the size. They always have enough food in them to fill a person up. Please keep on providing your RUclips channel. I enjoy watching it as it brings back memories and possible place to see, how to travel to them, and where to go when I come back to Japan. If you take this train it seems that a person may want to brink their own blanket and pillow with them, I would recommend a pillow and blanket that is used by campers. They are small and compact, but provides comfort.

Ok. I'm very impressed with how the train lovers automatically gave enough space for the workers and other passengers to walk. On the nobi-nobi, i'd agree with getting the private rm especially if it does cost a little more. Also can't imagine how bundled up a passenger would be during winter for that seat

お節介失礼します。9:08サンライズのシャワ－券は乗車前に券売機が設置してある3,10号車に並ばないと買えません。聞くところでは各券売機に20枚～30枚くらいしか用意されて無いとの事です。
着替え時間も含め一人１０分としても１時間にさばける人数は６人。
あまり発券し過ぎても利用できないお客さんが出ても困るし、枚数的にはそんな物かも知れませんね・・・

寝台車を見て日本人てほんと清潔な人種だと思うよ、外国人が日本が綺麗て言う意味が分かる、いつまでもこの気持ちが無くならで欲しい。後は安全ですね、外国では間違い無く荷物が無くてると思います。

Ok. I'm very impressed with how the train lovers automatically gave enough space for the workers and other passengers to walk.
On the nobi-nobi, i'd agree with getting the private rm especially if it does cost a little more. Also can't imagine how bundled up a passenger would be during winter for that seat

Круто, уютно но очень компатно =) В России и странах бывшего СССР это называется плацкарт. Как правило в плацкартах соседи знакомятся, пьют водку, делятся разными впечатлениями =)
Сейчас водку не пьют, запрещают. А новые плацкартные вагоны в России гораздо удобнее, чем эти.

@@dmitrishar формально нельзя, неформально, под шумок можно. Этим летом ехал на плацкарте из Крыма. Были старые вагоны. Пили водку, шутили 😁🥂.
