Are those real wire lugs, or is there a contemporary spring bar system hidden within? Because... wire lugs are surely something I couldn't personally be bothered with. And I agree on WR: why even bother with 3bar, unless it's clearly a delicate and dainty dress piece.
They are the regular Panerai wire lugs. They have a screw on the back of the case that you unscrew and remove the bar, sadly no quick release straps. It is strange how luxury brands have been slow to adopt the quick release straps. It makes watches much more flexible with options.
@@OntheWrist Oh, thanks for the info. I must have forgotten what their approach to wire lugs was, and hence I think it's not so bad then. Personally, quick swap bracelets: yay, quick swap straps: nay. I don't like the little slider knobs sticking out the back.
@@MJFallout The Panerai approach is nice because you won't scratch the case (if you are careful) since it is on the back side and a screw. Still way more involved than quick release. I agree, the slider knobs aren't great.
Great measure, nice vintage looking. 👌🏼👌🏼
Great review! Thanks for posting!
Small detail but I really love the font and hour markers on this watch
Panerai really nailed the the marker design
It’s 50 m which for a dress watch is completely fine.

30m water resistance u gotta be kidding me
Are you an aquatic creature?
not for you Aquaman...
The water resistance is killing me. This watch would have been perfect else wise
I agree. It feels like a waste having such low water resistance on such an expensive watch.
