I know that you don’t know how much of a time saving blessing you provided with Xtrax Stems!
I just remembered that when NI first publicized stems and the idea was very well received, but it was going to be very painful to spend the time necessary to create the stems and I lost my motivation and appetite for it.
I bought Traktor Pro later and one of the USB hardware for it (X1 I believe) for remix purposes.
Now with Xtrax Stems, it is a faster workflow than ever to create stems and even add on new revenue for selling my own stems!
The new question becomes what sites allow stems to be sold?
I know Beatport first and foremost, but I know more have come on the scene since the beginnings of stems and now NKS.
Thanks again for sharing your experiences, tools, and resources because many of us have shelved dreams and visions just because we lacked the bridges, tools, and resources to get there!

I made the purchase of Xtrax Stems today after seeing a FB Live seminar from their France offices. The funny thing is realizing that I'm far more interested in creating stems of my own music than from anyone else and I could have done it faster, stronger, and better within my DAWs already used lol:) But now I have taken away the excuses of not doing it as before.
As a remix tool, it is unstoppable and makes working with people who are strongest with their vocals versus music production more of a winning opportunity!
Thanks again big time for this and the original, longer video that I did see on its debut lol:)

MG The Future It is another revenue stream and gateway to a larger audience IMO.
Being that the tempo of stems can be changed and mixed at the DJ’s will, there are more opportunities to never sound exactly like whatever was first produced lol:)
That is the best of both worlds all around.

To be honest I had never heard of XxXTentacion before (99% of the music I listen to in the last 18 months is me! I am in a beat making groove and I want to keep going - my iTunes collection runs into the "billions" of tracks but I am a big fan of . . . um, me?). So I didn't know about his struggles. So young but he'd already achieved so much. I am studying Russian, so many of my social media friends are Russian/Ukrainian etc. And i was surprised how many (young) people over there are heart broken about this death. I will have a listen to him. Young death, no matter what circumstance is such a terrible thing. P.S. thanks for the video. You always have great info.

Gee MG never mind my last comment (Deleted), I was on about suscripition based services/apps, mixing that up with cloud based in my mind. I've no problem with cloud connected. Agree that its going to be EVERYTHING, before long and lets face it we are all living on the internet now.. Love your channel, thanks for all you do...

They're all the same in some regards. Just depends on what or how im creating.
This one allows me to use melodyne more...so most of what i do lately explores that.

(EDIT: Have you ever messed around with Mixed In Key Odesi? Thx)
Yo man, thank you so much for posting this video. I'll check out that plugin. Up until now, I've been using some website that uses AI to separate the vocal from instrumental but it costs money to download the entire song and I only want the hook so it's hit or miss but this plugin looks really helpful.
BTW, I only discovered you a few weeks back and it's tripped me out how many times you had either the solution and/or a new way of approaching some complex situation that neither myself or any of my friends (who've been making music for years) could think of an immediate answer to. Thanks again. I'm a huge fan.
You probably get a ton of questions and comments but if you happen to read this, one of my biggest challenges is trying to match different acapellas with different SPECIFIC sections of diff songs in a live setting. So while your music theory comments have been very insightful, if the key detection software is only giving you the key of the entire song, it isn't relevant if I'm using, say, the bridge or even an off pattern (say the 3rd bar) which could be in an entirely different key so it's the logistics that are fucking me up. I've tried using the tuner on ableton to detect that in real time but then I need to isolate the specific section which adds more steps to the process when I want to do this live. I can do a lot of things by ear but I aint that good and especially if I want to use some of the music theory lessons Ive learned from you, it would help to have the exact key as an initial reference then rely on my ears for final decision if it sounds bomb or not. Thanks for reading
    RIP XXXTentacion

Are they still being hardcore about that? I thought they started being more cool again. One solution that worked for me a few years back was pitching the song up a few semi-tones.
