    Nicely done, if I understand correctly the squeaks, bangs and drones on my QV are optional extras! Nice 👌

    Love these videos brother. Watching this made me do some work on my car without any experience purely by watching your detailed videos. I have the same car can never find decent videos on diy work. Keep it up bud. Maybe you can do one of springs next 😉. Also how do you know what torque a bolt needs? Manual?

      Hi mohammed. Thank you and really glad they help. I have video’s released on the channel already for both front and rear springs. You should be able to find them hopefully. Regarding the torque, yes I have document I bought.
      Thanks for watching and subscribing if you have. Really appreciate it 👍

    Hi Tony, great work there. I follow your channel and i must say it helps quite a lot😊
    Now i have a squeaking noise in my QV coming from the rear suspension (left side)
    I don't have the factory shock and springs. I have the set from Novitec and it it only one and half years old, so still in pretty good shape...but the garage that did the job didnt put new top mounts on the rear as they said the ones that i brought were not compatible so tjey had to put the old ones that they said they were in pretty good condition.
    Is just that i can hear this squeaking noise ennd maybe a minimal "tak" noise that is driving me crazy. The right side is completely silent. The drop links were also put new at the time together with the shocks.
    Do you have any ideas what i can start checking?
    Thank you 🙏

      May be worth checking the rear anti rollbar bushes. You could try spraying WD40 on to one bush at a time before taking it for a drive. If it stops after one of them, then you know where your problem is. All the best 👍

      Hi. Not sure for definite as I didn’t have to replace it. Your local parts supplier will be able to confirm, or Apps like AUTODOC will help. All the best 👍

    Hi Tony, great stuff mate! Any plans to do the top engine mounts at some stage?

      Hi James. Great to hear from you. I have it in mind at some point but not sure when exactly. I still have to get all the front bushes done which need to be done before the MOT, along with several other requests, but perhaps I’ll bump this up the list.

    Tried to undo my top bolt seized in job for mechanics
    Don’t have to undo bottom bolt first do you ?

    • @vialettotony
      @vialettotony  2 года назад

      Hi Dan. Mine was ridiculously tight. Switching to the adjustable spanner really helped save the day. I didn't need to undo the bottom bolt first either, and don't think it would make a difference.
      Hope you get it sorted. All the best. 👍

    I hate the noises that things make Tony, i have the same issue, will it be a expensive repair if i do it in a garage Tony?

    • @vialettotony
      @vialettotony  2 года назад

      Hi Gentian. Knocking noises can be very annoying. Are you sure it’s the shock absorber before you pay to change it? Either way, they are easy to change and quite cheap to buy so I’m sure it shouldn’t be too expensive but worth getting two prices from different garage’s.
      Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
      All the best 👍
