- Day 436 - We're spending the next two nights here in Tennessee. We heard about a beautiful waterfall hiking trail nearby and we just had to check it out. It didn't disappoint 😍 We also managed to pop the drone up for some insane aerial footage!

I live in Kent, England and hiking the North Downs Way in spring and summer time is a delight!
There are *so* many great places to hike in Upstate New York but a favorite of mine is Harriman State Park. It is literally a 30 minute drive away from Manhattan and has over 200 miles of hiking trails with tons of varying terrain.
A really unique (and also close) hike is the Giant Stairs which involves a hike down the side of a cliff to a waterfall on the Hudson River and three different rock scrambles.
We'll have to check that out. We're really keen on spending some time in New York State at some point!

Since you're from MO, next time you're in St. Louis check out Castlewood State Park in Ballwin do the River Scene Trail awesome views of the Meremac River and the Lone Wolf trail it is shorter but very pretty as well. Have fun in TX! Be safe.

I'm excited to see where in NC you are visiting! DuPont State Forest in Western NC is a great place to see waterfalls within walking distance of each other and just West of there is a whole bunch of waterfalls.
If you're back in TN check out Stone Door and Fiery Gizzard trails.
Crater Lake National Park in Oregon
The best hike we've ever done is Cinque Terre in Italy. We're pretty avid hikers. We also really enjoyed our "hike" from tip to tip of Manhattan. That's one of our favorites. :) -Brian
Oh man, doing an Italian tour is high up on our list! And trekking the length of Manhattan is quite an accomplishment 😮

If ever you're back in the Lake District, UK you should check out the books of Alfred Wainwright. He was the main man for hiking guides in the north of England. You might want to try his coast-to-coast walk if you're feeling brave! Regards from the UK.
Whoa, that's quite an undertaking! We'll have to look him up. A coast-to-coast drive/walk might be more up our alley haha 😂
Colorado Bend State Park. it is about a 2hr drive north west from Austin. Absolutly gorgeous, especially the Gorman Falls trail and spicewood springs trail.

My favorite hiking spot is Muir Beach by San Francisco. It's a gorgeous coastal hike.

We're actually nearby, but I don't think we'll be able to get over to Asheville! We really want to visit though.
The Lake District, UK - hiking over Windy Gap & Green Gable into Ennerdale Valley & stay the night at Black Sail youth hostel. I know, you were there a few weeks ago! Hey, try it next time you're back over here.

If you ever come back to Costa Rica, there some pretty good hiking trails in here. The best one is to El Chirripó Mountain, it's about 9 miles. But that one is really hard and you have to pay. I could show some less known hiking spots too.

But what an amazing place to lose them! :) I dropped my first decent pair into a lake a couple years ago. Now, I just stick with cheapos. We definitely need to explore more of Norway - thanks for the recommendation! - A

Florida Wilderness in Palm Beach County.
