Hey Adventurers! We hope you enjoy coming along on our travel day back to the USA :D We wanted to let you know we're planning our first Q&A this weekend. Whether you're a new subscriber or a long time viewer, we want to hear your questions! Leave a comment on this video and let us know ✌️
hi guys love your videos. for your next leg you should do a quick video of when and where your going next all the places you plan to go. because you could always meet up with your fans for more endless adventures.
Must have been fun leaving all that snow to land in NY and find snow :) Looking forward to the "home" adventures. A question I have been meaning to ask a lot of continual travellers is what do you do regarding clothing for different climates as obviously you can't carry everything with you or that would just defeat the object. How do you work out what to take and where do you leave the rest of your belongings whilst on the road :D
This was the #1 question I (Allison) had before we started traveling, haha! We're still fairly terrible packers, but we gave the best answer we could in our video (which is officially posted)! Hope it helps :) Thanks for the question!
I've enjoyed watching your adventures in Europe! A few questions I'd like to hear answered are: what did you think of each country? Any favourites or least favourites? Which were the best and worst moments or places? Was there anything you had planned but didn't get to do? Any countries you'd like to visit again either to do those things or to go somewhere else entirely? All the best you guys :)
Oh and of course, to learn more about you: how old you both are and what you do for a living, how long you've been together, some of your passions and interests, and your plans for the future.
Welcome back to the US! If your Aribnb was near LaGuardia you must have been very close to me. My apartment is only a ten minute cab ride. I hope LGA wasn't too much of a hassle. It's a total mess right now because of construction.
Jacob! We thought about reaching out, but we were literally only there for about 12 hours (and were scared our jetlag might have made us seem like crazy people, haha)! Next time we'll have to stay longer and hit you up. We've never explored NYC with a local :) LGA wasn't toooooo bad lol
OK keep it simple --I'm in -- simple question what are the three countries/cities which you have enjoyed visiting the most and for what particular reason--friendly people, best food, best beer ??????
Hope you guys got a good nights kip (Northern English for sleep, or Dutch for chicken)! :) I must say your motion tracking skills are getting better with each video. :D
You guys could maybe do a Q&A for your new subs (like me! ☺️) and everybody else (!) so we get to know you better?! :)) Good luck with the jet lag! ;))
For Q&A: How long have you been married and how did you two meet? I'm a recently new subscriber so I don't know much about you two, except that I love your content!
So we actually mostly answered this in our Q&A video (which will be out later today), but didn't see your question until after we filmed, so we didn't get to attribute it to you - sorry :(
Another great video. I see you have osprey packs. Do you every have airlines say they are to big to be carry-on? What size are they? I am always worries to bring mine. thanks
So far we've only had an issue with WOW air, but they're notorious for only allowing teeny tiny bags... Otherwise, we've been able to take them on as carry-ons all across the states and Europe/UK. :) Eric's is the 48L Exos and mine's the 50L Sirrus. Hope that helps!
PS, we made the Q&A video before you asked this q, so we thought we'd answer you here. We'll likely be doing a part 2 soon, so stay tuned for a more in-depth response :D
Great question! We unfortunately made the Q&A before seeing this one, but are hoping to do a part 2 soon, so stay tuned! The quick answer though, is that we definitely get tired of travel days which is why we're hoping to start doing either longer stays in each location or travel to closer locations when we move instead of country hopping so much. Luckily the excitement of arriving in a new place typically keeps us from getting too overwhelmed by the constant movement...but it's definitely not something we'd recommend to everyone!
Thanks! We made our Q&A video (which just went live) before seeing this question, so I hope you don't mind us answering here! We are desperately trying to make a trip work where we do Hawaii > Japan > Australia/NZ > SE Asia. We just want to be in a better financial position before we head that way. BUT, it'll definitely be happening! :D
Hey there! A question which is rather a request: are you planning to do a how it's made video (no commentary needed, speeded-up) on your video editing? Just to patch a hole on my curiosity bag. :D Oh, and I don't recall you mentioning how long you've been together. ^^
Hope to see you back in Europe soon:) Also a question: why have you travelled Europe so randomly instead of multiple countries next to each other? Just curious.
Sorry, Matt! We made the video (which just went live) before we saw your question! We're hoping to do a follow up video to answer the questions we didn't get to, but the quick answer is that it definitely opened up our eyes to how amazing the smaller towns and lesser known regions of the UK and Europe really are. Big cities are easiest to access, but the countryside is typically unbeatable 😍
I don’t know how people let their actual homes as air bnb to complete strangers. Not all people are gonna be nice and clean and respectful. And then she had to go and stay somewhere else herself..?

You can travel cheaper to Gardermoen if you go with NSB, but it takes 1 min more though.
hi guys love your videos. for your next leg you should do a quick video of when and where your going next all the places you plan to go. because you could always meet up with your fans for more endless adventures.
Should visit Norway in the summer.
I love your sweater Allison. It looks so good on you. Welcome home!!!;) -Ash
Awwww, thanks girl! 💁 It basically feels like I'm wearing a cozy blanket, but looks like I at least put in a little effort 😂
Your vlogs just keep getting better and better ! :)
thanks so much! 🙌
I would love to see both of your families.

Oh actually one last question: what were the people like in each country? Are there any stereotypes that proved true?

No worries! Jet lag requires rest even when in NYC. 😊
Thank god you are back to the States, so much more brighter and interesting :-) BTW $10 for THAT sandwich?!
Welcome home!
OK keep it simple --I'm in -- simple question what are the three countries/cities which you have enjoyed visiting the most and for what particular reason--friendly people, best food, best beer ??????
Thanks for the question (and keeping it simple)! :) We just posted the video with the answers!
cheers guys! love your videos.
Thanks David!
Question: Any chance of a steadier cam? Missing out on a lot of the background details that make your travels interesting!
I guess you'll have to watch the Q&A (which is officially posted, woo!!)
You should have travelled up north in Norway to taste «mølje». That is cod, codliver, codroe and potatoes.
We didn't have time this trip, but we're definitely coming back!
So sad you didn't have the chance to visit Seville
Really enjoyed your series. I wish more American kids travelled.
Hope you guys got a good nights kip (Northern English for sleep, or Dutch for chicken)! :) I must say your motion tracking skills are getting better with each video. :D
Thanks! And we definitely got some much needed sleep that night and are finally all adjusted 😴
You guys could maybe do a Q&A for your new subs (like me! ☺️) and everybody else (!) so we get to know you better?! :)) Good luck with the jet lag! ;))
We're actually planning this, we'll have one up soon!
BTW, we'd love to know any questions you have!
If you guys did a Q/A: how do you travel so much? Such as afford it and have time to?
For Q&A: How long have you been married and how did you two meet? I'm a recently new subscriber so I don't know much about you two, except that I love your content!
So we actually mostly answered this in our Q&A video (which will be out later today), but didn't see your question until after we filmed, so we didn't get to attribute it to you - sorry :(
That's ok! No biggie!
Rogn is not a fish by the way, it's something that is inside the fish.
Okay guys love the video licorice will raise your blood pressure be careful
That Air BnB place was goddamn gorgeous! What's your favourite city that you've ever visited?
It really was. We didn't want to leave!
Q&A:
Which European country was your favorite?
And how can you guys afford to travel so much?
Another great video. I see you have osprey packs. Do you every have airlines say they are to big to be carry-on? What size are they? I am always worries to bring mine. thanks

Many thanks for the info.
Do you ever get road-weary and just tired of travelling? I would probably want to spend a month or two in one place before moving on.
Welcome back! Was it snowing in New York when you got back?
It wasn't but damn was it cold 🌨
Another great video. You guys ever going to make it to Japan or Australia?
Can you please go into more depth about your work you do remotely (Eric)? Keep up the great work and welcome home!
Welcome back to the USA :)
Thanks!

Oh, and I don't recall you mentioning how long you've been together. ^^
Hey Bence! Thanks so much for the q's! We just released our Q&A and are happy to say that all your Q's have been A'd 😂
Hope to see you back in Europe soon:) Also a question: why have you travelled Europe so randomly instead of multiple countries next to each other? Just curious.
Great question! 😂 We just released our Q&A video with the answer

Travel safe to united states and welcome back to U.S if you guys are back yet. Love your videos❤️
Thanks!!
The lady is so pretty and the man is quite handsome (forgive me, even after watching half a dozen videos I've never taken cognisance of your names! 😓)
Hahaha thanks 💁 (our names are Allison and Eric - I guess we don't say them often in the vlogs lol)
and of course he knows his name is Norwegian right? :)
If only they would link that 20 mile gap between Russia and America. ;)
If only 😂
For the Q&A, How do you feel 2017 (or this European Adventure) has changed you so far ?
Sorry, Matt! We made the video (which just went live) before we saw your question! We're hoping to do a follow up video to answer the questions we didn't get to, but the quick answer is that it definitely opened up our eyes to how amazing the smaller towns and lesser known regions of the UK and Europe really are.
