    Awesome information Professor! I really like solenoids and electronic control , it makes understanding of control of Auto-transmissions much more easier , than governor assembly - throttle valve used in older transmissions. Мuch obliged for doing these educational videos !

    You should be charging money for these videos! Great principles being applied. I have been watching your transmission series trying to prepare for the A2 exam.

    I'd like to see the PWM solenoid in action also. Especially for the lockup converter clutch.

      @@WeberAuto the pwm solenoids are the ones that control the clutches in zf8hp??
      So in the case of zf8hp it has 3states fully open half closed and fully closed and this gives sevral gear ratios for the same planetary gear set?
      Or is it a smooth transition between open and closed??

    • @WeberAuto
      @WeberAuto  3 года назад +1

      @@FirstLast-tx3yj It is a smooth transition between closed and open.

    Hello professor. thank you for your great educational videos. I have a question about my 2010 ford expedition.
    When the car comes to a full stop second before stopping sometimes it jerks like a hiccough, and right after stopping it clicks. Sometimes hursh, sometimes soft. Sometimes it only clicks, or it only jerks. It may not do anything for a while, then comes back again on and off. On reverse if I don't wait for a few seconds and push the accelerator pedal, it bangs. Or from almost stopping I accelerate sometimes it will click. Otherwise during the drive all gears shift good.
    Different technicians told me different things "1.Speed sensor 2.Solenoid 3.TCM update, Flash PCM, ECM, Erase clear the Adaptive tables" so on and so forth. In 2021 I changed the transmission fluid and then again in january 2022 with gasket and filter each time, but nothing changed. If I can have your opinion on this matter I will appreciate. thank you again.
    God bless.

    Hi sir, i have a question. I learned a lot from your video's. I have a volvo v70 with an aisin Warner 55-50sn and i was driving normally, no issues before that, and suddenly the gear goes into nutral. DPRN doesnt work anymore and no faultcodes. What could it be?

    • @cck0728
      @cck0728 2 года назад

      It could be a selector issue? What was the problem?
