If Dark Souls was first released as a platformer type for SEGA or similar console, and then got remastered to current gen. This is what the game looks like. Both grim/creepy style of souls games and colourful palette of old gen games. Absolutely amazing.
Im very excited for this one! The combat mechanic of absorbing enemy attacks and releasing them seems pretty cool and the overall asthetic of the game is beautiful !

Akupara Games out of all the games in gamescom this was the most interesting for me.
The art style is basically the Imaginary Horrors subreddit.
So... BEAUTIFUL. It's like Blasphemeous but more of a 3D lithic art style.
