Martine is right.. 🤠 I was thinking that too, but then again, the excavator has a roof so that was some protection for you. You are so inspiring, Graeme. I've said that a million times. I loved seeing Hailey driving the gator. Wow.. she really is growing up fast. You did not let this inclement weather stop you, either. It's great seeing Jen, David & Hailey all pitching in. I hope you guys got a chance to jump in that refreshing pool after a hard days work. Your vision and dreams are coming true. This is going to be some really rewarding project for you. Looking forward to see it through fruition. Have a great day, Graeme. 😊
Thank you Olives. That means a lot. Yes, the excavator has a roof and protects me for most of the day. It's the earlier morning time and later afternoon time that I have to be careful. Yes, she's growing so fast. Every week I look at her and think she's just getting bigger and bigger. Yup, everybody is here helping out and Jen is keeping me alive with food and water. The pool was used liberally but it got up to 28 celsius which just stopped feeling cool anymore.. better than nothing though!
Love your property upgrade plan, yeah !!! Good job & girl power too, my kind of girl ( I learned how to drive a full size tractor with front bucket & a dump truck)
I almost had to take notes for this comment 🤣. First, Hailey! You did a great job with that Gator! You are a fantastic helper! The mini excavator is a handy tool. My hubs has a couple for his business. Great for smaller spaces and multipurpose. 👍 Poor Gracie... But I wonder what she was thinking. Like OMG that orange thing ate my Dad! Is this how robots are going to take over the world?!?! You did an impressive amount of work in one day! Can't wait for part 2! You did have some pretty awesome help. Hey she's got a great shirt on! Wonder where she got it! 🤭👍❤️
Thanks Missy! She is a very very fantastic helper :) Yes, the smaller excavators like that one are super handy to get around here and get things done. There's going to be lots more to show in the next video (you've already seen part 2). As for the shirt, I ordered a few and got a small for her :)
Oh my gosh, you did a major renovation! It is absolutely beautiful. Sorry you all have been experiencing high temperatures thanks in N Texas, unbelievable. Please don’t get too hot.
Lots of effort from you and Hailey but it looks like it'll be more than worth it cause it's gonna be fabulous! You'll be the only place that can offer it's own trail riding academy - complete with (wait for it...) obstacle course!
Thank you Graeme for sharing from the very beginning of your project till the beautiful completed trail in Community yesterday.👍 The evolution has been fantastic showing the progress as you explained it. It also shows the evolution of the heat day after day. You should wear a hat ! 🤠Hi Hailey ! Your assistant 🌾 I liked the wild forest before you started. This escavator is a great machine.. So much work,💪 so much to clear. Congrats👏 Edit: who is your best horse for trailing ? Calm, secure, responsive to the rider in case of surprise on the way..
You're welcome :) Lots more to come, I should be done part 3 shortly here and up in to the members area it goes for you. I did wear a hat from that day on. As for trail riding, it's either Lena or Luke at the moment.
Wow that was a great video, I love it 😃. I just started my day watching all those fabulous changes to come and it acted like a booster 😁. You are lucky to know how to manage an excavator so you can do all this yourself and be independant. Even if it's a lot of physical work you can get your projects done without having to pay (expensively ...) a company. How fabulous that you teached Hailey how to do so, at 10 years old she's doing perfect 👏👍. Looking forward to part 2 and what looks like a great teamwork 🌲😘🌲
The very first time I rented an excavator I was a mess. It was probably year 2 here when I did that. Fast forward 3 years with a rental each year and I think I've become quite proficient and it is super super handy as the cost to hire somebody is silly. I have taught Hailey a little on it in the past and she loved it. For now though with this heat she was just minimal on the gator and helping haul away the old stuff.
Amazing! Thank you so much for taking the time to keep us updated and sharing your vision. It is much appreciated. Now find your daughter (who gets more beautiful every day, BTW) and jump in the pool.
Thank you! Yes, very fast... The horses don't care for the most part, curious and watch, Gracie got pretty worried with the excavator but she got used to it.
Great job and thanks for the video and explanation of what you are doing. Very interesting. Just wondering if there's any place that has hot weather that doesn't have mosquitoes? They're bad down here in s. FL.
Thanks Naomi :) We have a few mosquitos still at the moment but they're not nearly as bad as they have been in cooler/more moist summers. It's almost a blessing it's hot and dry.

Graeme... you're a human dynamo! Such inspiring plans and so much work to achieve them. Bless you!

My gosh Graeme, you (and your daughter!), are so hard working. You're a good example for her. It wears me out watching you!
Thank you Marian :) Yes, we worked a bunch that day, it was nice progress
The extent of your planning is so evident in all you do. You are a pleasure to watch. Thank you
Thank you so much!
Thank you for the update, Graeme. it will be lovely when finished. All the horses are looking great.
You two worked the hardest on the hottest day! The apple does not fall far from the tree :) Excited to see the progress!
Thanks Ayeda :) Actually, that was Friday. Monday was 47, the absolute hottest.. There are 5 more days of progress. That video is coming soon
Love your property upgrade plan, yeah !!!

She's a hard worker and really sticks things out, great helper around here :)

@@StableHorseTraining I'm looking forward to it! And the t-shirts are great! I have one myself 😊👍

I'm not the only one, there are quite a few around here that have some trails on property. Just trying to make my own version of it :)
That was fun watching it come together!
lots more to come still!

@@StableHorseTraining yes, Luke and Lena seem calm.. And Lena must be so comfortable to sit on !
It's looking great! Your daughter sure is sprouting fast, she's so beautiful and that incredible curly hair..!
Thank you very much, she likes her hair straight but say the same thing about the curls, gorgeous!
Everything is looking fantastic! Thx for the vids! Hailey is such a cutie!
Thank you very much :) Yes she is!

She's growing up way tooo fast, but how lovely she is. Do the horses seem to be curious about what you're doing or do they just dislike the noise ??
Thank you! Yes, very fast... The horses don't care for the most part, curious and watch, Gracie got pretty worried with the excavator but she got used to it.
Well done💚💞💛
Great job and thanks for the video and explanation of what you are doing. Very interesting. Just wondering if there's any place that has hot weather that doesn't have mosquitoes? They're bad down here in s. FL.
Hot but no water = zero mosquito, they absolutely need water for reproduction 😉
