aw I’m going to miss sweet Joka. She has taught me so much & has been a joy to watch. Big thanks to her owner for sharing Joka with us for so long! She’s a special horse and we’re going to miss her ❤
I love all of your horses, but Joka was always my favorite. I have a soft spot for Icelandics anyway, since several summers in a row my mom and I would drive to an Icelandic ranch in California to ride for a weekend. And her personality and take no nonsense attitude was always so endearing in such a strong little package. I am going to dearly miss her. I hope you will post updates on her and talk about how she is doing. I have watched every single video you have posted with her in them. From her arrival one dark rainy evening and all of the horses calling out in excitement, to her kicking Ohana in the butt, to her grooming with Roo, and her sleeping with Little Miss. Her friendships with Luke, with Mr. Wilde, with Mocha, and with Annie have just been sheer joy to watch. She is such a very very special horse, and I hope she has a new herd of wonderful horses she can push around and have as many good friends as she did here. Goodbye, little mighty fluff, I hope your next journey is just as fun. Take care Graham. Please give my best to David and have a gorgeous day.
I have learnt so much from Jóka I really wish her the best and if possible it would be nice to have some updates on her. I really saw her blossom being Mocha's mom. Jóka is an incredible horse. The good thing is that I can go back and watch her videos over and over 🥰. Bittersweet news though. I wish I could give her a big hug🐎. Thanks Graeme for letting us know. Cheers from 🇺🇾
I am, indeed, sad to see Joka leave. I've taken a special interest in her ever since I purchased one of the bracelets made from her hair a couple of years ago. I was immediately worried about her ar the start of the video but was reassured by what you said & trust that her future should be a happy one. I'll miss her so much. But at least I have my little memento to remember her by. Thank you for taking such good care of her. As always, much love & appreciation from Kentucky. 🩵✨️🩵✨️🩵✨️🩵✨️🩵✨️🩵✨️🩵✨️🩵 P.S. I know details are private but can you at least say if she'll have one or more horse companions? Maybe a little herd like she's used to? Would really love to know.🩵✨️
So sad Joka is leaving and thankyou to her owner for letting you share her. I'm sure Mocha will adjust even though her and Joka seemed to have a special relationship. Our weather here in the UK is just as crazy as yours, really cold and wetter than it should be !
Ohhhhh, Yoka was one of my faves! She was so sassy and cute, a fierce little package. Hope she enjoys her new stable :(. Lena was a close second with how sweet and chill she is, so she can be my new #1. Though I'm really fond of Gracie and her her high energy too. You're lucky to have so many amazing horses with really distinct personalities on your property, it's like a reality show lol. I've been so busy the last few months you have all these new horses I don't recognize, I really need to go through the backlog. Terrible summer for us too, south of you. It's been record rain this year, our entire property has been in a near constant state of flooding. To say nothing of the record high heat and humidity on the days it's not pouring. I worry what the price of hay will be this August, last year it jumped too and the weather wasn't this severe :(. 11:41 Jump scare LMAO
I mentioned in another video how Mr. Wilde reminded me of Marmaduke. Just now, when getting his carrot, he reminded me of Fred Flintstone. Ha! Was surprised at how saddened I felt about Joka's leaving. Didn't realize how attached I'd gotten to her. Such a sweetie. I'll miss her. Change is a part of living. Without it, we cannot progress. Just wish I'd learn to roll with changes with less stress and, at times, less grief. May you be blessed with much happiness and great hay (and carrots), Joka.
It's so sad and unexpected to see Joka go😢 she is such a kind character. We'll miss her a lot. She is so much part of the herd, tolerant and respected. She has been Momo's foster mom teaching her horse etiquette.. I hope she will be well taken care of where she goes with new friends.. Mr Wilde is unique with his mouth plays.. Thank you for sharing this episode of the herd's life, a bit special as Joka's last day.. Almost 40k👏
i hold such a special place in my heart for icelandics. at the barn where i rode my first icelandics, other people who boarded their horses there would always say "once you go icelandic, you can never go back." Lo and behold four years later my family has since been the proud owners of two absolutely amazing icelandic geldings for what'll be three years on July 17th! all of that to say, seeing an icelandic on this channel made me very giddy when i first discovered it. Joka is a very special mare, and we all love her so very much! we'll miss her terribly so, but im very thankful that youve shared such an amazing little horse with all of us through your videos ❤
So thankful we got to enjoy Joka for so long! She never fails to bring a smile to my face. Definitely going to miss her and the dynamic she brings to the herd. Safe travels dear little fluff!
I feel gutted!! I am a uk icelandic owner and watching her with the herd has been such an education for when watching my iceys and feral dartmoors interacting as they defo speak a different language but express the same things, just differently, and alpha mare is an Icey. So I shall miss her greatly. At the same time I can look forward to the development in your herd and I am especially interested in how the herd adapts, esp Mocha, and hope to learn from it as my two ferals will go back in the autumn to be swopped for 2 more yearlings. Thank you for posting content of your herd together.
just starting but I have to say, Luke's "excuse me, hello, I'm here." going immediately back to rolling like he wasn't just interrupted gave me the giggles.
Well, each and every horse is vying for your attention; so you really are Big Daddy. And you fall for the scratches and rubs almost every time. Even when you are stern, they still only want you! The herd and all of us will miss Joka; her pretty colour, glorious mane and tail and regal bearing for a little cutie 🥰. You will be missed. Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 This full length video was an unexpected treat. It was great to hang out with all the horses once again. I will miss seeing little Joka and her amazing floof in your future videos. Wishing her all the best in this new chapter in her life.
Sad to see Yoka leave but she is leaving the sweetest memories what a sweet horse I know momo will miss her dearly …. 💕 Mr Wild is one of the most Beautiful & friendliest horse truly Amazing how he interacts with you Thank you for showing them so much Love & care . A man is not a man until he has humbled himself to the soul of an animal they teach us Compassion , Patience & forgiveness something this world is in desperate need of. Sending many Blessings your way for all you do everyday . Farewell Yoka safe journey on your way back home who knows maybe one day we will see you or get an update on you. I love all of your horses they reflect how much you love them.
Our horses are all acting a weird recently, I’m just putting it down to odd weather , I really have no clue , the girls appreciating Mr Wildes legs was so funny , I would love to have heard the convo between them 😂, Joka will be missed especially by the wildies , safe travels sweet Joka
When Joca leaves, I’m thinking there will be interesting displays shuffling for the leadership position. I’d love to hear your commentary if that happens.
Happy Canada day to you, the Mighty Mite ruled with an iron hoof in a very floofy shoe - I will miss her mityness and wish her and hers well. edit Momo 'limboing lower' was amazing to watch!
We had the opposite here in south western PA. It was way hotter and humid, and no rain for over 2 months. Usually its a decent amount cooler and rains every day!!
Dear Jóka, I’m sad to see you leave, but a big, big THANK YOU, for teaching us (Icelandic) horsey wisdom! Happy to hear you’ll be well cared for in the future. Thanks a lot Graeme and David for having shared her on this channel. Happy Canada 🇨🇦 Day !
A full HOUR!!! 🙌 My heart is so broken for you, your herd and sweet, sweet Joka. She has such an amazing herd and bonus dad with you. I SO hope she will have wonderful friends at her new place. I know MoMo will be absolutely fine and adjust with you overseeing this for her. My heart hurts for Jokas with changes and adjustments. 😢 This video was SO much fun to watch...I can never get enough of horsey play time. I can't wait for part 2 Thanks Graeme, have a beautiful day!
Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦! Sad Joka is going, for sure will miss seeing her, that beautiful tail, fancy poof she rocks, me too glad I have my bracelet of her hair a beautiful reminder. Hope she has a good next chapter in her life. Haha 😂 Mocha Houdini with the tree fence that was cool to see. Didn't think she could wiggle under.
I will miss miss poofy top Joka but that’s the way it is. If they don’t belong to you they eventually move on! Mr wild loves you so much❤Moka is very much like him!!
Wow, 105. Until three years ago I lived in Pasadena, California, where it would sometimes get up to 105 in the summer - on a few occasions, even up to110. Yikes. She will be missed. Small but mighty & one of the herd leaders.
Dear sweet Joka. I had forgotten that she was owned by someone else. Very emotional time.🥺💜
Oh, I will miss seeing Yoka! She is so intelligent and so cute! Mocha will be missing her for sure.

sorry to hear that, I expect it must have really hurt. Some lessons are hard learned when it comes to horses.
