I get laser done at a local esthetician school and it’s about 1/4 less than the normal price! You could always look into one in your area. But I love that you have found something that works!
I found what helped me too was visiting a really good chiropractor that can offer relief in the neck and facial muscles with some of the realignments that they do, and that can reduce headaches due to tension and relax the facial muscles which help you look and feel better.
Hello beautiful, I’m loving, I’m commenting, I’m a subscriber, what next lol, love your videos, you have got to be by far the most authentic real person I’ve seen or met ever, the best quality a person could have and you have it all over you, amazing job keep it up, thank you so much for being a beautiful light, much love, AllGloryToGod,,,❤
When you said you were 36 I really had a shock. I remember when you were in your 20s and I was a teenager watching your videos 10 years ago. Now I’m 24, around the same age you were when I first started watching you😱 Wow, time flies. Love you Maria 💜
I SO appreciate that you acknowledge things like stress factors and suggest things like meditation that are lifestyle practices rather than just products! It’s so easy to forget how stress and anxiety reflects on our bodies. My skin went completely haywire the month before my wedding!!
I get professional laser hair removal and the laser is about the same size and we have to wear safety laser sunglasses. Also, post-treatment, they put 100% aloe gel that's been chilled (non alcoholic) on the affected area and as needed inbetween laser treatments. They tell us to stay out of direct sunlight (cover up) for 2 weeks since the laser takes off a couple layers of skin and staying out of direct sunlight will help protect it and reduce inflammation and infection. Don't forget to exfoliate regularly and wear sunscreen. I hope this helps you take care of your skin better while you use the hair removal device.
Reminder : sunblock not just on face but also neck and chest. I’m 55 and clearly forgot about my chest for decades. Now I have sun damage there. Take care and put sunblock on chest folks!
Don't forget body also get good sunblock because most of them are toxic u don't want that abosrbing into your skin banana boat was recalled due to it causing cancer 😦
That intro was so cute 🥰 I think you get more beautiful as time goes on, I've always thought that. A lot of people start having botox in their mid 20s to prevent wrinkling, I guess it works but I do wonder if it actually damages the skin long term and the idea of these procedures scares me a bit 😅 I may look into a device like this to try to keep my skin looking healthy for as long as possible. I started doing red light therapy for the health benefits recently, but it supposedly helps with collagen production too. Thank you for sharing, I'd been looking forward to hearing your thoughts on your new skincare device after you mentioned it before ❤
I just want to say to anyone reading this, it’s okay not to try to prolong your youth. Aging is natural and beautiful. Age with grace. You don’t need to try to preserve or reverse your natural aging process. Use sunscreen to prevent skin cancer. Crows feet are a sign that you’ve smiled so much in your life and you are so lucky for that.
Damn right! No shade to Maria, but I absolutely agree with you. This body is gonna be how it's gonna be. Hollywood and their "eternal youth" schtick is not for me. And frankly, the older I look, the more sass I can get away with😉
Totally agree with you but, while noone wants to stop the ageing process, it's so nice to feel good and fresh and looking after ourselves does just that.
Will I accept my wrinkles? Nevvvvveeeerrr! I'll fight them till the end! Lol, but on a serious note you're absolutely right, but man is it hard to fight that longing for youth again.
Laughter lines, is what my family call those little lines at the side of eyes. So much kinder to think of them as such. You are beautiful, inside and out. Please know that I, for one, never notice lines or wrinkles. I notice if your eyes are happy or sad. Please be happy.
@@neylefleur I started using it on my face and it helped with my acne, but I started using it on my arms and legs because I have a skin condition called keratosis pilarus and it's helped to reduce the bumbs. I use other products as well, but this is the first time in my life that I've seen a real improvement in my skin.
@@alicerosemick She was talking about her experience with Drunk Elephant retinol. I don't use drunk elephant though, I found some retinol at my local dollar tree. I saw Dr. Dray the dermatologist review dollar tree products, including the retinol serum in a video, and after getting results I've since gone back for more. I love it and plan to keep using it regularly.
These are seriously my favorite. I feel such a kinship with you. I hope one day to hug you big. You’re such a comforting presence. Thank you for time and effort Maria. I genuinely appreciate it.
I bought the Braun machine 2 years ago and its amazing. Ive tried laser at a salon and it did absolutely nothing. (20 sessions). That machine is so much better. Its worth the investment!!
I am so happy you made this video! I think taking time for yourself, even like you said 20 min, to give yourself some self care is so necessary for our mental health and well-being, especially as we age. I think we can find ways to age gracefully and make the process beautiful without taking drastic measures. Feeling beautiful and looking beautiful, to me, is so important. And I think ppl underestimate the power of looking in the mirror and really giving ourselves the attention that we sometimes crave from others. ❤
Signs of aging are a blessing; it shows you’ve lived a life. That you’ve smiled and laughed and cried. Don’t try to get rid of them, they are a part of you!
Hi Maria 🥰 I’m also one of those unlucky ladies who gets super mega itchy after shaving. It’s awful!! The scratching causes little cuts that sting, and then the skin flakes because of excess itching. I would love for you to keep us updated on that Braun at-home hair remover. Like your results after a few months, and how often you’re having to do it as time goes on.
I have the braun for a couple of months. The first 12 weeks i have used it weekly and i noticed that i had a lot less hair and it grew back slower. After the 12 weeks i stoped for a month than i noticed that my hairs starded to grow back. So i would recommend once or twice a month after the first period to keep up the results. But after all I'm very happy with the results.
You are basically our mom teaching us about skincare with all of your videos 😂❤️ my mom knows nothing about this stuff so all that I have learned has been from you 😘
Maria, I just love the atmosphere around you. You are so smart and self aware. Thank you for this video, and all your videos! I am terrible at doing anything for myself, we have 6 kids, so there isn’t much time for myself, but thank you. This is a good reminder that for me, I need to take care of me, too!
I’ve been watching you for so long, honestly I notice the biggest change in your face! Your cheekbones are so much more defined, I think you’ve convinced me to buy it and I’m only 21 🤣❤️
I love when you review products! You are so earnest and objective. Thank you for investing in yourself and in turn, teaching us the importance of investing in ourselves (:
I don't know if you've already tried this but I'm 35 so I'm not far behind you Maria, and while I haven't really got crows feet I did get very defined smile lines for a while. What I ended up doing though is just trying to do face lifting massages like I've seen in gua sha ASMR videos here on RUclips. It's helped me to make my smile lines far less noticeable. I also try to massage under my jaw to eliminate a bit of sag I was getting. Other than that, while cleansing my face in the shower I just do fast taps against my face with my fingertips all over to remind my skin to be elastic, which I actually got from you in one of your getting ready/makeup videos!
First- Your voice is so lovely no matter what kind of video- just so soothing! Second- I’m SOLD on the hair removal device!!! I am JUST like you, I get extremely itchy about 2 days after shaving and the itchiness lasts for several days. By the time it’s stopped itching, I wind up with tons of ugly marks on my legs. So I try to avoid shaving now as much as possible (sorry hubby!). I have tried literally everything as far as lotions and stuff. As a teenager and young adult, I didn’t have much issue but for some reason as I get older it gets worse (I’m 36 too).
Thank you so much for posting this! Listening to your first hand account feels like listening to a trusted friend. These have been issues I’ve been concerned with for quite a while now but couldn’t afford to go to a professional. I’ve always wondered if these home devices actually worked but never knew anyone that used them. I know what I’m asking Santa for come Christmas time lol..
I totally agree we don’t need to be excessive about our weights or things like that if we’re taking care of ourselves. It helps us feel grounded already! And good about ourselves! I’ve been looking into getting better about skincare and it was really lovely to see that you are taking care of it daily but not doing every single step all the time 🤍 much love
I thought your face had thinned out and was hoping you were ok or were dieting, glad it was just fun nice skincare that makes you feel uplifted (lol, literally) :)
Wonderful video Maria as always but as someone who’s been doing laser treatments for a long time now I do need to warn you that you should be wearing special glasses when using the laser, the light is very harmful for your eyes!
Hey Maria, you mentioned that you listen to affirmations while you do skincare. I was wondering if you’d be willing to share some of your favorite affirmation vids or even make some of your own? Great video by the way, I really enjoy watching your content ☺️💕
Thanks for sharing this. I learned of the tripollar stop vx from your video, investigated and got the device. I’m only in the first phase of treatment but so far so good. I find the process relaxing and I love the proactive aspect. Thanks for all your effort and sharing your tips and tricks!
I just rewatched a video of yours where you said you’re turning 27 & I can’t believe how fast that time has gone, because it felt like you uploaded that video yesterday 😭 But also, you’ve not aged one bit since that video!
I would definitely recommend protective glasses for the laser treatment! At salons they require clients to wear protective sunglasses since the light is bad for your eyes
You are way healthier than I am, I have health issues that prevent me from being able to do the gardening and all the things that you do!! Although I do try to eat right and go to the doctors frequently, and take care of my health! I just want to say it is so nice that you get on here and you do things like this you are such a beautiful soul and I love you!!!💕💕💕💯
Thank you so much for this 💗. For you to put so much time and effort into a review you are not even getting paid for, just to share something that you have found improvement in. I hope they decide to sponser you 💗. Thank you!
Love this alt channel Maria ❤️ I'm actually the same age as you. I know EXACTLY what you mean about wanting to just have control over small things cosmetically. The side effects of lasers and botox scared me, idk if I'll use those. Retin-A and sunscreen have been really the only things I've found that works. I used NuFace but tbh it didn't really work that well imo EDIT: that Braun IPL is amazing btw. I've been using mine for about 3 weeks and I can really see a difference. I've got fair skin + dark hair though
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us Masha. I appreciate your research and for going into detail on these items. You look wonderful.💖
Thank you maria so much for everything you do, i feel immediate relief when i watch your videos you have no idea how much i appreciate you !!! you are my favorite person ever
I too bought a home laser permanent hair removal device. The one I got was similar price but from Roseskin Co. I can't say if it works cuz I find it difficult to use since the cord is too short & the light hurts my eyes as u say. It does mention it can cause damage so u shouldn't look at it. I also don't have the discipline to do it regularly & for that amount of time. I only did it once so obviously no results. I purchased for my arm hair but u must shave 1st. I don't want to try that area until I know it works as stubble on my forearms will be even more unappealing! Being a woman & trying to stay beautiful is difficult. I am 50 & find it is causing me major depression with everything falling apart. Thanks for showing us that u work a bit to stay as beautiful as u are Maria. Sometimes we see all the pretty women online & assume it's effortless.
I hope you do a follow up video! I got the same Braun device for Christmas, along with a red/blue led light panel. No TriPolar for me, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t want it 😂 A girl can dream.
I bought the Braun PRO 3 two years ago. I am so satisfied. After only a few sessions the hair in the bikini area was almost gone. I have light skin and brown hair. It works very well also for my legs and armpits. My only regret is not buying it sonner. Although I have sensitive skin, to me it’s not painful at all. Just a brief pinching
Hi Maria, can you make a video about other products you use, like home cleaning products, makeup brands, or maybe remedies/medicines you use? I'd love to know what you recommend. This video was lovely. 😊
I have the Braun device as well and was so surprised with how well it actually worked. I went into it with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised.
Masha I love you! I’ve been wondering how you’re been able to stay so beautiful!! Your skin is amazing! I’m only 2 years older than you and I have been watching your videos since you first started. I really appreciate this video so much ❤
Out of like every RUclipsr, I trust your opinions the most ❤ Also you had said you don’t notice any hollowing out in your face… but that’s one of the first things I noticed! You look great!
I always like & appreciate your videos about beauty products + your honesty about them. Please continue to make videos about recommended products or updated skincare routines, or anything else you would vouch for ☺️ I genuinely think that you have always been beautiful & you only seem to become more beautiful as time passes. 💖 Any lines that you may have are barely visible at all. You also don’t seem to have any forehead lines or at least not visible ones, & those are very common for many people to get first even in their early 20s or as late teenagers, which has to be because of movement or genes etc at that age. Since it’s different for everyone & lines appear even for very young people, it’s something to keep in mind as a reminder & remember to always be kind to yourself❣️ Of course you are allowed to have your preferences & I do appreciate your tips, especially since I have always looked younger than my age & I would like to continue with that. ☺️💕
Honestly it depresses the shit out of me that so many women feel the need to get injections or surgeries to try and look younger. You don't end up looking younger, you just look more....unreal. Not that this will change your mind, Maria, but you do not need botox. You look fantastic. Can't even see your wrinkles and even if they are there, they're a sign of a healthy life and lots of laughter.
Hi Maria! Happy Saturday! ✨ This is a great video. I was wondering if you could do videos on kitchen items such as pots and pans and other related items? 😊 or things that can make meal prepping easier? Thank you in advance.
Thank you! I am 33 and need to start a routine now I wish I started in late 20's. I considered botox also but that was out of my price range and I feel that once you start you need to keep going because once you go back to normal, you won't like your face anymore. I like the gradual slowly aging approach instead of immediate results that then go away, it would mess with my mind too much.
Maria, you read my mind! I just started researching at home ipl devices the past couple of days. Thank you for sharing your experience with the Braun Silk Expert Pro 5
Yass yas yasss Queen!!! Please do more beauty product reviews. Love your honesty, your thoughts and opinions. Because they are R-E-A-L. Just like our homegirl, here! ❤️👑
Would you be able to give us a video on what supplements/vitamins you take, that you really notice a difference with? I’m interested to hear more of your opinions on First Person!
I am 37 turning 38 in 2 months and I started with Botox in my 11 s two years ago. You really have to get used to the loss of movement and I don’t think I will ever use it under the eyes, because to me people who have done Botox under the eyes look a little weird when they smile… a bit like a fake smile that you don’t really mean. I personally prefer to have wrinkles in this area. Botox between the eyebrows however only prevents you from looking really angry, which is kind of nice haha
Can you do a video on your entire beauty routine (ie which days you use which products, and links to them…things like which days you take retinol, the facial peels, etc…please include your hair too!)

The size doesn't matter. Salon ones are much higher energy levels and not safe for home use. Home use ones are much weaker

EDIT: that Braun IPL is amazing btw. I've been using mine for about 3 weeks and I can really see a difference. I've got fair skin + dark hair though
Nu Face is useless. What a waste of 💰 money. Mine sits in a drawer . Results are very temporary
The minute I turned 40 I was like - shoot me up, Botox fairy.
The Braun machine is great! I have noticed though that you kind off have to use the highest level for better and quicker results
I loooove this kind of content, always been my fave :)
Sometimes we see all the pretty women online & assume it's effortless.
i’ve had my eye on the braun device for a while so this is great to hear!! thank you maria :)
I'm from Scotland UK and didn't know what 115°f was so I googled... 46.111°c 😳🥵 wow that's crazy! Love you're videos 💕
oh i’m from scotland too! hello 👋🏼
@@4982xox hey 👋 from Aberdeenshire
@@juliafrances8281 hi from glasgow 😊
Hi Maria, can you make a video about other products you use, like home cleaning products, makeup brands, or maybe remedies/medicines you use? I'd love to know what you recommend. This video was lovely. 😊
I have the Braun device as well and was so surprised with how well it actually worked. I went into it with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised.
So sweet a person! I hope you are happy Masha!
The best thing I discovered when it comes to any irritation on the skin is thermal water spray... I don't know how it works but it changed my life.
Laser is so expensive so if this works for you it’s amazing 👌🏼 also there are numbing creams that help with the pain!
Masha I love you! I’ve been wondering how you’re been able to stay so beautiful!! Your skin is amazing!
I’m only 2 years older than you and I have been watching your videos since you first started. I really appreciate this video so much ❤
I was curious how these home laser hair removals worked -!thank you for the review. Love your videos, best asmr-artist!!!
Out of like every RUclipsr, I trust your opinions the most ❤ Also you had said you don’t notice any hollowing out in your face… but that’s one of the first things I noticed! You look great!
I always like & appreciate your videos about beauty products + your honesty about them. Please continue to make videos about recommended products or updated skincare routines, or anything else you would vouch for ☺️
I genuinely think that you have always been beautiful & you only seem to become more beautiful as time passes. 💖
Any lines that you may have are barely visible at all. You also don’t seem to have any forehead lines or at least not visible ones, & those are very common for many people to get first even in their early 20s or as late teenagers, which has to be because of movement or genes etc at that age. Since it’s different for everyone & lines appear even for very young people, it’s something to keep in mind as a reminder & remember to always be kind to yourself❣️
Of course you are allowed to have your preferences & I do appreciate your tips, especially since I have always looked younger than my age & I would like to continue with that. ☺️💕
Love you! Been following you for years! I've loved seeing you grow with your precious family! ❤️
Maria! This was so helpful, I’d love to see what other gadgets you endorse! ❤
Maria, you read my mind! I just started researching at home ipl devices the past couple of days. Thank you for sharing your experience with the Braun Silk Expert Pro 5
You look so so stunning Maria!! Inside & out beauty 💜💜💜💜
I have been using Tripollar vx for a few months now and really like it !
maria is so real, great recs
Yass yas yasss Queen!!! Please do more beauty product reviews. Love your honesty, your thoughts and opinions. Because they are R-E-A-L. Just like our homegirl, here! ❤️👑
Thank you so much for your review! I have been on the fence about the Braun device and I think you convinced me :)
Would you be able to give us a video on what supplements/vitamins you take, that you really notice a difference with? I’m interested to hear more of your opinions on First Person!
Appreciate your honest reviews! You are absolutely gorgeous.
YES!!! More recommendations please!!!! Just keep 'em coming. I'm not getting any younger over here ♥️ lol
Thank you Maria, I love your beauty product reviews!! 💜💜💜💜
I’ve been waiting for this!!! ❤
Thank you for the research and please do more videos of recommendations. You're the best!
Thanks Maria, yes would love a video with further recommendations 👍
You're like an older sister ☺️. Love these talks.
My instinct told me to check your channel sassy masha and then I see you posted ❤️😩
Thank you for this honest, descriptive review.
Would love to see a follow up video on the tripollar device!
Love your product reviews and beauty recommendations. Thank you Maria ❤️
Can you do a video on your entire beauty routine (ie which days you use which products, and links to them…things like which days you take retinol, the facial peels, etc…please include your hair too!)
Love This type of videos ❤
These are very helpful. Thank you Maria!
Be careful with the tripolar device. Overtime it can reduce facial fat which causes worse sagging and wrinkles
