- Hermitcraft season 9 episode 1! We start out big with our Minecraft let's play ep 1 on the Hermitcraft S9 server with a massive starter treehouse base. The design of the survival base will be elven-themed. Once we complete the treehouse, I'll build my dream Minecraft build.
We start the episode by exploring caves with Mumbo and Grian. But that goes hilariously wrong. We go all out to get a Netherite hoe to harvest leaves for my elven-themed starter base. The base will be a treehouse and shop.

@@rainbowcats19 Scar survived fifty hours in hardcore and a few minutes in Hermitcraft. And it's not because he got lucky. It's because he does it for laughs. I do think that his condition makes it difficult for him to, for example, fly in the nether, but usually when he dies it seems like a joke.

I don't know, but I felt the last life was a good example of this: Yellow Snow, Grian's life steal from Scar in the beginning, robbing his resources, obsidian box of ganging up death, just plainly ganging up on Scar, and more (you can watch it). I do hear you, but I don't know if that was wanted.

im prety sure hes making those deaths on purpose, hes goten thousands of hours in the game, he cant possibly make this type of mistakes plus some really strange deaths every single ep, like nothing againts it, the videos are really funny and i really enjoy His vids, but i cant belive he missplays this much with the enourmous experience he has.

The advancement is killing Scar.

I remember watching Scar when I was in college. That was a little over 10 years ago. And that was when Scar would play on his own creating massive dessert biomes, the mother tree, the leaf lawns, the custom cacti, etc. And now, seeing him surrounded by friends in a server is making me emotional in some sort of way. I felt his pain I have to resist all the time, and sometimes you can't resist, a few years ago at my old job working Retail one of my Coworkers was stocking shelves and was trying to put away a box and said "oh my God it's too big I don't know how it's supposed to fit" and I tried not to say anything but couldn't resist and had to say "that's what she said" then she just said my name in a really annoyed tone and I just said "sorry but you set yourself up for that" then walked away before I could get slapped.

Omg, when he first said "let's set our spawn", quickly followed by a gasp, I was convinced for a fraction of a second that he realised his soon to be mistake, but then he went "do I need a shield?" and I told myself "Of course the man is going to die by trying to set his spawn with a bed right after exploding one for Netherrack farming, this is Scar" xD And then I proceeded to almost die from laughter as he did exactly that. Such a gem.

I teared up both when Scar said about how appreciative of us he is and also when he said things have been tough lately after remembering he was recently affected by an infection and also has had to deal with neuromuscular disease for very long. Scar makes me smile, laugh and feel all sorts of emotions probably the most out of everyone I have watched on RUclips. I only found out about him fairly recently, I think during season 7? No matter what when he's on screen i've only ever had good times with Scar. His content has helped me through tough times and proceeds to do so today. On behalf of everyone, we love you Scar!

I just started watching Scar recently and didn't realize eating or drinking while watching his videos were a hazard to my laptop until I took a big bite of my sandwich around 5:27 and then proceeded to almost spit it out all over my keyboard laughing at Scar's distant and rushed "that's what she said" line, and this isn't counting the other day when I almost spat water at my screen while laughing at another video. This man is a joy but I really need to stop watching him while having meals!
Edit: the bit where Grian mentioned Scar and Mumbo have about 8 million subscribers between them made me look at how many subs Scar has because I didn't check when I subbed a few days ago and I'm honestly shocked he doesn't even have 2 million yet. He's so fun to watch on so many levels, I actually regret not finding him sooner

I think Doc didn't know what Scar was talking about at first, because the hoe Scar was holding was obscured by a bush.

I've been watching this super sweet man since early 2019.
I got suckered into Hermitcraft by Grian's shenanigans, became intrigued by Mumbo's techno babble, but then I found Scar and fell in love with his beautiful builds and boundless enthusiasm.
When I can watch a scar video my day just gets better 🙂
I had the same process, but just near the end of season 7 lol.
Scar, don't worry about getting episodes out at a super regular pace. If you only put 4 episodes out all season, they'd still be 4 of my favorites

To be fair, Iskall's OMega Tree was kinda... Mega. This is a nice tree but it's not Omega, it's just a nice build in general that is moderately sized.

I started watching last season of hermitcraft when I heard you were sick. As someone who is personally in out of the hospital a lot your story stuck with me and now I absolutely have to watch your videos~ Your eagerness to build and have fun is definitely what kept me.
