Fantastic Room. Love your BBC micro etc. I bought this cabinet and I couldn't deal with the monitor (I knew it was bad before I bought it). I replaced it with an old SF2 monitor I got off ebay (£20) or get a cheap Dell e1715s. I also got a 1m led strip light to put behind the coin door (£3 Ebay). I've gone from like my cabinet to loving it. The cheap upgrades are worth every penny.

Those sound like some great little upgrades, might do that at some point down the line but for now I'm delighted with it, raising it up the 3 inches made a World of difference. This looks a worthwhile arcade 1up cab to own as it’s got the rollerball and paddle which gives you that unique play style , and at that price point too makes it very appealing
You're spot on Scott. After playing it a fair bit now I can safely say if I had to let one cab go of th two I own, this could be the keeper for the very reason you mention. Most of these games just aren't the same without their original control method. Think it's back to £250 now which is what I paid, I till think that its“a fantastic buy at that price. Cheers Dave, yeah the height is perfect with these risers, they work perfect. The online leaderboard really make it, as somebody that has nobody in the house to compete with it adds so much to wanting to improve those scores, just need to figure out why I can't see James so far. Must say I still prefer the design of the 400, and hey my 800 has a membrance keyboard too which isn't working currently so I need to strip it down at some point. Looing into it the membrane for the 800 was actually better for longevity than most of the mechanical variants it seems. Thanks alot for watching and hope you have a great Christmas🙂

for sure getting this cabinet and now i'll have 2 arcade1up cabinets. I own the Dig Dug version of your pac mania cabinet, I liked the artwork better on the dig dug cab than pac mania but I still love pac man.
Great combo, this cabinet is a great one imo. Love the control options, many of these games just aren't the same without the unique controls. Best of luck👍

Anyway that is one incredible, and I mean INCREDIBLE collection you have there! And I know you have a ton of software(way more TI99 than I could dream of amassing). You really need to start your own channel😉 Would be amazing to see. Wish I'd have had more urgency when I started rebuying my retro stuff(The TI was what pulled me back in and software was so much more available at that time), of course didn't realise prices would go crazy and availability disappear. Still I am lucky with what I have and do remind myself that regularly 😊 Hope you had a great Christmas and have a great new year too.
@@Tetlee I've actually considered making a video or two for RUclips and I may well do next year. It'd give me an excuse to go through all the TI tape software and some of the cartridge stuff too. I picked up quite a few of the 3rd party releases on cartridge for the TI from Arcade Shopper over the years-so I've got Sabre Wulf, Jet Set Willy, Flappy Bird, Turbo Forth, Flying Shark, Jet Pac, Borzork (Berzerk clone) and a few others too. I've also got a few of the Databiotics carteidges too so there will hopefully be something of interest there. The only problem may be my presentational skills.😆 I'm delighted to see your videos though so keep them coming. Hope you had a yop Christmas and best wishes for the New Year Lee.

this is a legit mod for 1ups... I bet they could be 3d printed even but at around $20ish not bad. cool looking cab. I see a coin button LED mod in your future.

Liberator has been a real treat of a suprise for me, absolutely brilliant game, can't believe I knew nothing about it before. Possibly my favourite game on the cab, love it!

Hey thanks for the kind comments. These were just cheap plasic type screw hole stickers I bought off amazon, think they were only a couple quid for about 20. I did try the little plastic caps that fit the exact hole size but they didn't work out sadly, might try another type of those as smaller and recessed would look even better. I ordered one from game but their order email stated none perfect unit. I have sent them a letter to cancel my order as they have no functional email, phone number or any customer service. They seem to have been bought by Mike Ashley and are impossible to deal with.

They are certainly way overpriced at full UK RRP! I paid £299 for Pacmania and £249 Cetipede, don't feel short changed on either at those prices despite the fact they have dropped lower since. Thanks for watching👍
Thanks mate, oh no idea if they'll reduce them again. They were £249.99 for Months on end before I bought mine, them dropped to £229. I expect they will drop again, bargain at that price.
Ah that's a shame, still great late Christmas pressie. Mine took best part of 2 weeks from order to delivery I think. Hope you have great fun with it. Oh and recommend peeling back the screen protector film past the screws before fitting, will make you life much easier.

Didn't realise it had now gone even cheaper, its an absolute steal in my opinion, all the games are good and awesome to have the unique controls on a nice looking cab I have mine on an extra riser to and definitely makes a big difference, i raised mine 5 inches🤣 I cant see your scores either, just have your name in favourites and cant see anything else can do. Do you have the arcade1up phone app as you can views favourites on there too? 👍

It’s a shame that these are so expensive (when at full price) here in the UK.
