I don't know if you will see this but I want to thank you so so much, I'm doing tafe (its like college in America but more based on trades I.E nursing, construction, mental health etc) its not university but it also has pathways for people like myself who have chronic illnesses and couldn't finish school (year 11 and 12) and with the course I'm doing I can't tell you the amount of times I've cried and wanted to give up because Microsoft is so different to me (haven't used since 2013) but finding your videos and showing me how to use the programs has given me hope that I can do this, I wouldn't say I'm old (i'm 28) and technology is moving at a pace that I can't keep up with, so what I'm trying to say is thank you so much for what you do and content you make.

Does anyone pay attention to how he uses PowerPoint to work this video? How there's the fly-in, and out and the sounds. All of it is PowerPoint effect. Wow, he wanted us to be a good student by noticing those works. And he's a great teacher in the way he takes his time to add these effects.

Beginners, like REAL beginners switch back and forth and just have to check where everything is,. At 6:09 for example, what what what? change size, what what what then? the cursor is moving so fast across the screen I can't even see it. For total beginners, and particularly tech afraid people this high speed talking and clicking is just causing stress and a feeling like ' I can't do that'.

One of the problems with today's apps like power point is that there are too many options and people think that a good presentation is about fancy display. By the time all these fanciness are presented I am more confused. What I needed was how to find out which slide layout to use for text and for images etc. The display can be changed afterwards.

you are probably using a different kind of powerpoint maybe 2016 or 2014 he is using 2019 or 2023
