We had land drains every 6m (looked like black pipes with holes in them!) surrounded in 6mm shingle. They all connect and go to the perimeter drain. The arena is surrounded by ditches which flow into a stream. There hasn’t once been a puddle on it even after days of rain so it definitely works very well!
@@felicitycoombs let me know if you have any more questions as we did so much research! We had planning for a 60x30 but to save costs we went for a 40x25. The extra width makes it sooo much better for jumping than your standard size arena!
