I have an FS-TA and love it. I even sold the Taylor I had because I stop playing it and almost completely played the Yamaha. I liked the Taylor, but that FS-TA just played so well. I don't use the effects a lot, but the sound and feel are great.

They sound nice and I love Yamahas but if I had the dosh to buy one of those I'd get an ll16 without the bells and whistles...But nice review...Interesting...Thank you....
Nice guitars as I own the LL-TA without cutaway. I regret somehow as it is not suitable for fingerpicking. The sound of the LL-TA is splendid and the tone is really full and good! My only complain is that Yamaha has a thing not to listen to the payers and lower the action . Demotivating sometimes to play. Yes someone has to say this
I called Sweetwater today inquiring about this day. I wish they didn't come in only cutaways. I also didn't know they've been out this long. I'm going to buy the 600 dollars version first.
I just got one of these from SweetWater. Although I like the guitar a lot, I was disappointed in the guitar out of the box was not playable. Glad I could do my own set up. The action was not even in spec. The neck relief was way out of spec. The tuner knobs were all loose. The low E and A strings were up too high. The finish has checking along with bubbles in the finish where the bindings are not to mention the heavy scratches on the pick guard. Sweet Water did offer to over night another guitar but I had already done a lot of work on this one. They also did give me some money back on it. But the big thing to me is the guitar was never inspected. Sure someone looked at it and maybe strummed it. But it was never inspected. I felt like I bought a used guitar not a new one. I do have the guitar playing well. But I have to say I will never again buy another guitar on line. It’s better to try and get a new guitar from a music store that is located near you. I feel sorry for people that have no idea of how to work on guitars. It would have cost me over $100 to have the work done. So buyers be aware.
Good, but I’ve been using the KEPMA F1-ED for the past 2 years which already had a chorus, room/hall reverb AND a delay as well. To top it off, theres also an i built mic and the controls allow you to blend the pick up and the mic to reach a good warm body tone. In short Yamaha is bit late in the transacoustic guitar race i guess :)
I love my LLTA but when I plug it into the Acoustic amp (Acus Simon) I find the sound too synthetic. It's like the strings get stiff. Do you think it's worth investing in a New Pickup? I thought about installing a Fishman. What do you think?
I don’t hear much depth at all. It seems to be a very bright guitar. FGC-TA. While I like the idea of built in effects, and only to a level that they’re barely noticeable. But for a video, people need to hear the effects
But Yamaha started working on their TransAcoustic technology in 2000 and introduced it on the piano in 2014. Then they brought it over to their guitars in 2016. According to a press release from LAG, they started working on the technology in 2017 and released their first HyVibe model in 2019...
Add some texture to your strumming with the TransAcoustic's built-in effects! 🤯
These are the real deal. One of the coolest acoustics I've ever played.

Wow. So cool. Wish you would have showed just the chorus without reverb tho.
Love the new cutaway! Any idea when you will have them?

I believe Yamaha came out with the tech in 2016. When did Kepma release their version?
I wanted to get that but laminate back and sides so big skip

Wish you didn’t put a mic in front and we couldn’t really hear the sound

I have 1 and it's amazing I didn't know anything about it and hadn't heard anything about them found on accident
Next up: CisAcoustic Guitars! Would you like a retronym with your retronym? 😂

Hah, Yamaha stole idea from LAG guitars, but LAG have also looper inside And more effects.

@@GearLover i'm not sure...
Too much talking and FX demo. Not enough demo'ing of fingerpicking without FX.
Please cut your hair.
this sound horrible really
effects on acoustics are for people that cant play the guitar
