I've heard that aardman haven't ruled out making another film. But I don't think they have any plans right now. So it'll be a few years atleast before we see another one.

I hear tell that everyone went up in stitches when Gromit started laying the track when they showed it before an audience in an Odeon with both Nick and Peter (Sallis) in attendance. I also hear it was the golden standard for the Toy Story Chase when Buzz and Woody are in pursuit of the moving van.

My grandmother (who has since passed on, over twenty years now) sent my mother a tape in Christmas of 1996 (which would turn out to be her final Christmas) for my younger brother and I. It had "A Grand Day Out", "A Close Shave" and "The Wrong Trousers", along with a plethora of other children's animation. My brother and I immediately took to it and played it over and over again. I stuck a pink balloon sticker to the edge of it and that's how we're able to tell it from other tapes we've saved...got to get it transferred to DVD...
All of the Wallace and Gromit moments are iconic but the train chase is definitely one of the best moments! I loved and hated that evil penguin and the robbery scene always terrified me as a child.

As an American, These two were one of my childhood tv characters. My first discovery was the movie the curse of the were rabbit. After seeing that movie I fell in love with those two. I remember the good times watching the Netflix episodes too. Ah, memories
The Creator Nick Park said in an interview for Early Man that he wants to return to Wallace and Gromit, and yes,they did replace Peter Sallis with Ben Whitehead in 2010.

Wallace and Gromit's movie won 42 AWARDS, and that's including 10 Annie Awards(one of them being the late Peter Sallis winning Best Voice Acting in an Animated Feature Production), 2 BAFTA Awards(being the Best Feature Film in BAFTA Children's Award and Alexander Korda Award for Best British Film) AND an Oscar!
